I feel like the issue with trance these days is that they are making songs over complex, not enough memorable songs, its similar to how older video game music was more memorable because they kept it simple with catchy hooks instead of making a wall of sound.

I was in Prison when i first heard this serving a few years (1997-2012) , we were a crew of 14 individuals whom meet at that place and became really good friends, it was like a brotherhood because that's what we became, brothers...i remember that was a Friday, picking up after midnight to Saturday and the whole Dormitory was up and chilling (a Prison thing 😉), and the R-station played this song and I quickly got closer to the speaker so i could listen to the verses because the rhythm was chaotic+++...long story short,..i ended up sitting on my bed bunk remembering my ex. back then " RIP Melissa Ann Rogers 1987-2019🕊️" and everything that i used to do before i committed the mistake that lead me to that place and i found relief on it...still do and lotta more pluses...bottom line, this producer will really have my support indefinitely, his creations are too much, his music a 💎!....tnx Zedd and please keep it up!👏

Over 7 years later and this is still my favorite song of all time. The chord progression is amazing , the drops are explosive, and the use of Sound jumping from left to right at 2:10 gives me chills. All this pared with the heavenly voice of Matthew Koma makes this song perfect. This song is such a perfect example of Fundamental EDM. And with an amazing Zedd spin to it, It makes this song number one. Love this song.
