This was one of my absolute favourite scenes from him, because it felt like the first time he let someone from his family know how deeply he loved Kate.
Their chemistry was 10/10. In my opinion, I feel like there are only a few couples on TV that actually have GOOD chemistry. They really have it. Their chemistry is WAY better than season 1 btw. These two felt sooo REAL.
There chemistry was intense and pulled at my heart. Kate made me fall in love with her because she wanted the best for her sister but she couldn't ignore how she felt about Anthony. So overall the story and acting was way better and more relative. Season 1 felt more royal and regal and a little scripted
The only thing I didn't like about this season was that there was too much screen time on the feathringtons. That time should have been spent more on kanathony!!

No way. The whole Kate and Anthony storyline was so boring. Literally gave me headaches. Same dialogs over and over again. Same facial expressions of Kate over and over again.
It’s great that so many people are appreciating the chemistry between Kate and Anthony. Also the series have casted Kate as a leading character. My skin tone is same as Kate. All my life I was told that I am ugly. That continued even on my wedding day. I was so sad on wedding day because so many of them said on my face that I didn’t look good. However I am grateful that my husband finds me beautiful and he loved the way I looked on that day. I grew up with such a low confidence and when I see people like Simone doing so well, I am so glad about it. In my home country I was called ugly and now in different content I am referred as black. My husband, my best friends always says that I am a beautiful person but I can’t accept it and I feel they are saying to appease me. I wish I could one day express my pain through art and let it go. 🙂
Years after abolishment of slavery, some people are still in mental slavery. They don't care about beauty really. Nothing in reality is beautiful simply because it's white or black. That's irrational. They are just saying they feel inferior. The closer they are to whiteness, the more they feel superior. Self imposed madness
Colorism like racism is still a big problem. However, personally, I found this actress Simone Ashley to be very attractive regardless of the colour of her skin.
"Jonathan you really delivered" is almost an understatement. Jonathan Bailey brought this series to a whole new level with season 2. His charisma and acting skills are out of this world.
I loved S2! Imo WAY better than season 1. S1 had the greatest dialogue but this was way layered, the chemistry and tension between the leads and the premise of the story. Loved it.
The WORST ACTRESS EVER. I mean they food be chosen someone with some flipping EMOTION. Her sister had that same expressionless face too. RUINED THE SHOW 🙄

KUDOS TO SIMONE and JONATHAN and the WHOLE TEAM, for they have done well.
Season 2 was way way better than season 1. Story wise it is a lot more & I got more engrossed with it per episode. These two totally delivered.I don't even mind the lack of steamy scenes. The tension and chemistry was so palpable it was more than enough. I hope they get few more scenes in season 3 as their character evolve into guiding the other siblings.

As a non Indian I was so proud of the richness of the color of the actresses because I'm glad they did not pick the very light actresses and fair actresses that are always portrayed in all bollywood films and that we got to see a diversity of color coming out of India and so for the Indian community I'm so happy for you guys that you got a leading lady roll That was the love interest amazing 👏
Exactly what I told my sisters!! That's one thing I like about American and British movies and shows. Yeah, there isn't much representation when it comes to the race, but at least they cast more desi actresses who are more brown/dark skinned. I rarely or almost never see that in actual Indian films coming out of South Indian film industry. The actresses are fair skin that are even more edited on screen that they end up looking like Indian/White mixed. It's funny they don't have the same mentality for male actors. You see a lot of dark skinned male actors on Indian films.
There are so many darkskinned actresses in bollywood. I can name a few of them e.g. smita patil, nandita das, rekha, aparna sen, konkana sen, priyanka chopra, kajol and many more

Just finished watching Bridgerton 2. And OMGi just love how multi cultural it is this season, especially the love chemistry between Kate Sharma and Anthony. The Sharmas are both very beautiful

I don't think we got an explanation as to why he was missing though. Anthony mentioned that he missed the duke especially since Daphne was becoming a nuisance to him as a result.
I’m not going to lie, I was already resolved not to take this season seriously, because the Duke was not in there. I am SO glad I didn’t listen to myself. I found all the blunders, the tension, and overall content just more enjoyable. I found myself laughing hysterically, when I wasn’t screaming for someone to kiss, this season. I am glad this season wasn’t riddled with a bunch of sex scenes. I dare feel that people who were disappointed aren’t truly engaged with or understand the characters or their positions. It made sense for Anthony to be a full on rake , the first season: he wasn’t the one too pressured to settle down. Daphne was shielded from intimacy with a man. So when she finally was able to, she got to do it as much as she wanted. It made sense for the gratuitous sex scenes. This season is much more transactional for Anthony. He’s opposed to love and more resolved to doing his duty of carrying the family, by way of marriage. So yes, he was with some “women of the night”, but I think that was more of relieving stress. His objectification of women changed, once Kate came along and he acknowledged how he felt. Love became his biggest distraction to his being a dutiful son, so his constant battling of succumbing to loving Kate should NOT have resulted in a bunch of sex scenes! Anyway (sorry for the novel), this season is off the charts. Already excited for the confirmed arrivals S3 and S4!!

I think it was definitely the best choice to get them back for s3. Firstly because we clearly need more scenes between kate and anthony when they are not forbid to be together, to love each other on a daily basis as viscount and viscountess. And then as mentioned multiple times this season Anthony’s wife is the viscountess and she is responsible for his siblings just as much as he is, with that being said we can definitely expect a lot more interactions between her and the other siblings on the future.
Holy Crap, Did season 2 knock me off my feet! The delivery of season is so beautifully done, rewatching it till season 3 comes out!! Kate and Antony forever
i'm so glad that jonathan and simone are completely open to coming back for later seasons. it's unfortunate that rege jean decided not to reprise his role despite knowing it's a tv show about family and features recurring characters from previous seasons. it's the little things like small cameos that tie the whole show together and makes fans happy

The moment Simone said it's just the beginning of Kathony and there's a lot more coming.. I'm literally screaming on the bus listening to this. I love their chemistry it's just that we didn't had enough of their scenes both together...and not to forget how both Sharma sisters look like GODDESSES

This was excellent!!!! Never watched this series before and watched the whole season 2 in one go and finished at 6am!! The chemistry you guys!!!! Omg!!! The passion, it would drive you crazy that they would not kiss and then they throw in your face a love scene more intense and super choreographed + filmed/edited!!! Amazing stuff!! They could just have a whole series the two Anthony and Kate!!

My poor couch took quite a beating with my frustrations. When a kiss finally happened, you would’ve thought my favorite team just won the game!!! They did a better job, this season, in building the suspense of intimacy. I remember when Daphne and Simon were looking at the painting, and how hot it was when their hands finally met. This season, Kate had her pinky out, and it was about to touch Anthony’s, but they just missed each other….WOOOOOH! 🥵That little tease is what makes this show so awesome. The attention to detail and finding beauty in the simplest forms of intimacy.
I hope we get more of kate and anthony in season 3! IM LIVING FOR THEM, i’ve watched season 2 about 20 times already and it never fails to make me feel emotional each time 🥲

Yes, I agree. I did wish they had kept a bit more from the book instead of changing the whole storyline. The book had me in stitches at times. But that said. I still think they did a great job. Great chemistry between Anthony and Kate.
I watched this entire season in one sitting last night and it was the best experience ever. The story was laid out so well, nothing felt too rushed or unplanned. The slow burn was sooo mesmerizing to watch (trying to avoid spoilers). It drew me in so much, I couldn’t stop watching. Definitely better than Season 1 in my opinion, looking forward to tuning in for future seasons to come!

My husband watched season 1 with me and felt he had to make me happy. Made him watch season 2 with me and he was even wanting to get to the next epsiodes because he was so engrossed in the story. Their chemistry is literally off the charts and the story is so good and the slow passionate moments were so beyond perfect omg

I told myself I wouldn't watch the entire season on one go, but I just couldn't stop! I LOVED it. I was screaming "KISS!" at the screen 😂 loved every bit of it.
Though I miss Rege, I was pleasantly surprised at the story telling. I miss the physical connection of he & Daphne, but the tension & banter this season kept me engaged for all episodes back to back. Other characters are slowly being built up, but surely a visit from Rege won't be a distraction. I love the multicultural balance!
It seems like Rege really didn’t want to come back which is why he wasn’t there. JB wants to stay and continue to be in the series just to be a part of the bigger story but seems like Rege wanted to drastically cut ties.

One of my favourite scenes is with the bee and he was having a panic attack and the way she calmed him down by putting his hand on her chest telling him she’s unarmed. That scene makes my heart skip a beat.
All of the actors and actresses were exquisite but seriously, Anthony and Kathe's screen time together was so little. I can't even compare with season 1 which was filled with Simon and Daphne's love.
People need to watch these interviews and see how passionate and wonderful these actors are and how much they care about the characters. I could not love them more if I tried. I adored the show, watched it in one go. I am also a die-hard book fan, but I went into it with an open mind and came out on the other side as a die-hard show fan. And to know that we will see both Anthony and Kate in the next season is amazing.

Anthony and Kate were my favorite characters in all the books. There's just something about a tormented hero that hits all my buttons. I loved their interactions and only wish we could have gotten more during the season. I recommend the books, for sure, but the series has been very well done. And Jonathon made a very scrumptious Anthony 😉
Why does this interview feel like the movie? The two are just talking together and to each other while charithra is just sitting there nodding 😅😅😅. But from all the interviews I've watched, Charithra seems very well mannered, intelligent and deep 🥰
I already watched this season 3 times!! Yes, 3 times, However I found myself skipping through the Featherington's a lot the second and third time. Those parts was very boring. But the parts between Kate's family,, the Bridgerton's, the Queen and Lady Danbury were so interesting and well done. I've never been so shook by a series before. I still can't sleep and wake up thinking about it. I just wish the parts with Anthony and Kate were longer.
I loved season 2. I mean episode 8 was all the feels. I was so proud to see a woman of East Indian descent take on a lead role. It made me feel like “wow she looks like me”. The love story between these two was beautiful. It wasn’t toxic and the chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥.
Season 2 smashed it. The slow burn, the passion build up, in my opinion is way much better than the many sex scenes in Season 1. The bickering back and forth, the emotions they invoke when they're in close proximity of each other is so intense. The camera angles, the music breaks, the dance sequence are so delicious. The chemistry with the two actors are so hot and nuclear. The stare downs and breathing tell the moments that words are not necessary. You just feel it. Great job Bridgerton!

Exactly! I read the book when I found out there was a season 2 coming out, and wrote a review about the things I didn't like about it, like the way Kate was easily persuaded by Anthony and Anthony was ugh, stomping on Kate's hand and kissing her right after he told his mistress to go? He also planned to sleep with his mistress while still wanting to marry Edwina. I really like the change in the show, it makes me love these two characters so much more.
I also loved that she rode horses and shot guns in the series. She was pretty cool in the books(probably the best female in the books) but she was even better in the show
I’m so glad they said they will be back for the rest of the seasons and at the other siblings weddings because that little scene of them when Anthony held up 3 fingers and switched to 4 to make Kate smile was just the cutest damn thing and I NEED MORE of just seeing them be together and be cute like that!!!!

I just feel like the last ep was a bit rushed. I thought there'll be more conflict and hurdles before Kate and Anthony wed. I'm happy regardless. Kate and Edwina's skin is SO GOOD AND RADIANT. I'm so ready for Season 3!
In the book they actually wed a lot earlier. Antony freaks out when Kate gets stung by the bee, tries to suck the poison out, when Lady Feathrington walks in on them. So they have to get married (he was never engaged to Edwina). They really dragged it out in the show in comparison.
@@megreyes8242 Yes, definitely. Edwina always said she wanted a scholar in the book so she wasn’t really that upset. I definitely recommend reading the books though. They are brilliant. The audio books are great too, had me in stitches several times.

This season was phenomenal the beautiful cast that was added, the dialogue and the independence that is displayed. Also Anthony was so handsome this season. Every episode left me wanting more and I actually hated for it to be over.
That scene when they both stood up when the doggie came and Edwina asked herself if she could've been so daft🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️!! I just couldn't stop laughing. The director deserves an Oscar. Season 2 deserves as many Oscars as Penelope's yellow dresses! My Lord was I the only one counting them? Every dress a surprise. Let's just give the award to the costume people already. even before seeing season 3 and 4, I can already say season 2 was the best season. the slow burn of their love was INSANELY AMAZINNNNGGG. hookups that happen at like the first meet or 2nd date is so boring
Loved the dialogues and acting in this one. I am kinda glad that this season was nuanced regarding the sex scenes. They modified the bee incident as well which was good, doing it exactly like the novel would look hilarious.
@@RealTalkWithSSG Every book in the series focuses on another sibling of the bridgertons, so there are 8 books and as far as I know a few novellas. Shonda Rhimes has said that they will not go in order of the books, so we really don't know which one will be next.
@@RealTalkWithSSG I didn't read the others as well, but I can imagine that the author followed a trope, so its kind of necessary for the writers to change the plot so that the different seasons aren't as similar to the others and still interesting to watch

I watched it in one sitting and slept at 6 am 😁 I love how you can see their chemistry out of set too (I know that Jonathan is gay but it is still there on a human level).
I have rewatched this show TWICE!!! something that I rarely do unless I really love a show. I must say this season blew my mind, I was so invested in each and every episode from start to finish. The casting was spectacular especially because according to the books Kate and Edwina are white characters but the show changed that by making them Indian that too dark skinned. Now that's a 10/10 from me. Also, the music and costumes were impeccable. The way they used songs in this season was just... beautiful. Loved it. Another thing that I loved so much was the character depth and arcs. This season managed to go deeper into Anthony's character and made me actually like him considering the fact that I didn't like him in the first season. I also love Kate's complexity as a character... it's like I had no idea what she would do or say next especially the part where Anthony proposes to her after she regains consciousness. Then there's also the erotic Kate and Anthony moments...I swear my body temperature spiked to a million degrees. It's one of the most beautiful sex scenes I have watched in a TV show. SEASON 2 OF THIS SHOW IS GOLD. Please watch it if you haven't.
I had just finished watching S2 a couple days ago and I’ve been rewatching all the kate&anthony scenes every day!! So much tension I can’t help but punch the air haha really wish it was longer ! The two make such a great pair always egging each other on, I’d love to see more of that in future seasons for sure!
While watching season 2 of Bridgerton, I could literally feel the raw passion and tension that Anthony and Kate portrayed throughout the show for each other. The casting was perfect. Chef's kiss perfect.

"Jonathan you really delivered" is almost an understatement. Jonathan Bailey brought this series to a whole new level with season 2. His charisma and acting skills are out of this world.
I loved S2! Imo WAY better than season 1. S1 had the greatest dialogue but this was way layered, the chemistry and tension between the leads and the premise of the story. Loved it.

I LOVE SEASON 2 WAY BETTER THAN SEASON 1 ! if SEASON 1 was the reason i got INTERESTED, SEASON 2 made me STAYED. the TENSION was PHENOMENAL and ANGST was CHEF'S KISSES, it'll be hard for any show to get that kind of STANDARD or VIBE again in awhile unless Bridgerton does it again that is. KUDOS TO SIMONE and JONATHAN and the WHOLE TEAM, for they have done well.
Season 2 was way way better than season 1. Story wise it is a lot more & I got more engrossed with it per episode. These two totally delivered.I don't even mind the lack of steamy scenes. The tension and chemistry was so palpable it was more than enough. I hope they get few more scenes in season 3 as their character evolve into guiding the other siblings.

As a non Indian I was so proud of the richness of the color of the actresses because I'm glad they did not pick the very light actresses and fair actresses that are always portrayed in all bollywood films and that we got to see a diversity of color coming out of India and so for the Indian community I'm so happy for you guys that you got a leading lady roll That was the love interest amazing 👏
Exactly what I told my sisters!! That's one thing I like about American and British movies and shows. Yeah, there isn't much representation when it comes to the race, but at least they cast more desi actresses who are more brown/dark skinned. I rarely or almost never see that in actual Indian films coming out of South Indian film industry. The actresses are fair skin that are even more edited on screen that they end up looking like Indian/White mixed. It's funny they don't have the same mentality for male actors. You see a lot of dark skinned male actors on Indian films.

I don't think we got an explanation as to why he was missing though. Anthony mentioned that he missed the duke especially since Daphne was becoming a nuisance to him as a result.
I’m not going to lie, I was already resolved not to take this season seriously, because the Duke was not in there.
I am SO glad I didn’t listen to myself. I found all the blunders, the tension, and overall content just more enjoyable. I found myself laughing hysterically, when I wasn’t screaming for someone to kiss, this season.
I am glad this season wasn’t riddled with a bunch of sex scenes. I dare feel that people who were disappointed aren’t truly engaged with or understand the characters or their positions.
It made sense for Anthony to be a full on rake , the first season: he wasn’t the one too pressured to settle down. Daphne was shielded from intimacy with a man. So when she finally was able to, she got to do it as much as she wanted. It made sense for the gratuitous sex scenes.
This season is much more transactional for Anthony. He’s opposed to love and more resolved to doing his duty of carrying the family, by way of marriage. So yes, he was with some “women of the night”, but I think that was more of relieving stress. His objectification of women changed, once Kate came along and he acknowledged how he felt. Love became his biggest distraction to his being a dutiful son, so his constant battling of succumbing to loving Kate should NOT have resulted in a bunch of sex scenes!
Anyway (sorry for the novel), this season is off the charts. Already excited for the confirmed arrivals S3 and S4!!

I think it was definitely the best choice to get them back for s3. Firstly because we clearly need more scenes between kate and anthony when they are not forbid to be together, to love each other on a daily basis as viscount and viscountess. And then as mentioned multiple times this season Anthony’s wife is the viscountess and she is responsible for his siblings just as much as he is, with that being said we can definitely expect a lot more interactions between her and the other siblings on the future.
Holy Crap, Did season 2 knock me off my feet! The delivery of season is so beautifully done, rewatching it till season 3 comes out!! Kate and Antony forever
i'm so glad that jonathan and simone are completely open to coming back for later seasons. it's unfortunate that rege jean decided not to reprise his role despite knowing it's a tv show about family and features recurring characters from previous seasons. it's the little things like small cameos that tie the whole show together and makes fans happy

They did a better job, this season, in building the suspense of intimacy. I remember when Daphne and Simon were looking at the painting, and how hot it was when their hands finally met. This season, Kate had her pinky out, and it was about to touch Anthony’s, but they just missed each other….WOOOOOH! 🥵That little tease is what makes this show so awesome. The attention to detail and finding beauty in the simplest forms of intimacy.
I hope we get more of kate and anthony in season 3! IM LIVING FOR THEM, i’ve watched season 2 about 20 times already and it never fails to make me feel emotional each time 🥲

Yes, I agree. I did wish they had kept a bit more from the book instead of changing the whole storyline. The book had me in stitches at times. But that said. I still think they did a great job. Great chemistry between Anthony and Kate.

I watched this entire season in one sitting last night and it was the best experience ever. The story was laid out so well, nothing felt too rushed or unplanned. The slow burn was sooo mesmerizing to watch (trying to avoid spoilers). It drew me in so much, I couldn’t stop watching. Definitely better than Season 1 in my opinion, looking forward to tuning in for future seasons to come!

My husband watched season 1 with me and felt he had to make me happy. Made him watch season 2 with me and he was even wanting to get to the next epsiodes because he was so engrossed in the story. Their chemistry is literally off the charts and the story is so good and the slow passionate moments were so beyond perfect omg

I told myself I wouldn't watch the entire season on one go, but I just couldn't stop! I LOVED it. I was screaming "KISS!" at the screen 😂 loved every bit of it.
Though I miss Rege, I was pleasantly surprised at the story telling. I miss the physical connection of he & Daphne, but the tension & banter this season kept me engaged for all episodes back to back. Other characters are slowly being built up, but surely a visit from Rege won't be a distraction. I love the multicultural balance!
It seems like Rege really didn’t want to come back which is why he wasn’t there. JB wants to stay and continue to be in the series just to be a part of the bigger story but seems like Rege wanted to drastically cut ties.
Didn’t miss him at all to be honest. He really wasn’t important to the story as his story was already told. Daphne was important on the other hand.

One of my favourite scenes is with the bee and he was having a panic attack and the way she calmed him down by putting his hand on her chest telling him she’s unarmed. That scene makes my heart skip a beat.
All of the actors and actresses were exquisite but seriously, Anthony and Kathe's screen time together was so little. I can't even compare with season 1 which was filled with Simon and Daphne's love.
People need to watch these interviews and see how passionate and wonderful these actors are and how much they care about the characters. I could not love them more if I tried. I adored the show, watched it in one go. I am also a die-hard book fan, but I went into it with an open mind and came out on the other side as a die-hard show fan. And to know that we will see both Anthony and Kate in the next season is amazing.

I loved their interactions and only wish we could have gotten more during the season. I recommend the books, for sure, but the series has been very well done. I already watched this season 3 times!! Yes, 3 times, However I found myself skipping through the Featherington's a lot the second and third time. Those parts was very boring. But the parts between Kate's family,, the Bridgerton's, the Queen and Lady Danbury were so interesting and well done. I've never been so shook by a series before. I still can't sleep and wake up thinking about it. I just wish the parts with Anthony and Kate were longer.
I loved season 2. I mean episode 8 was all the feels. I was so proud to see a woman of East Indian descent take on a lead role. It made me feel like “wow she looks like me”. The love story between these two was beautiful. It wasn’t toxic and the chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥.

Season 2 smashed it. The slow burn, the passion build up, in my opinion is way much better than the many sex scenes in Season 1. The bickering back and forth, the emotions they invoke when they're in close proximity of each other is so intense. The camera angles, the music breaks, the dance sequence are so delicious. The chemistry with the two actors are so hot and nuclear. The stare downs and breathing tell the moments that words are not necessary. You just feel it. Great job Bridgerton!

I read the book when I found out there was a season 2 coming out, and wrote a review about the things I didn't like about it, like the way Kate was easily persuaded by Anthony and Anthony was ugh, stomping on Kate's hand and kissing her right after he told his mistress to go? He also planned to sleep with his mistress while still wanting to marry Edwina. I really like the change in the show, it makes me love these two characters so much more.
I also loved that she rode horses and shot guns in the series. She was pretty cool in the books(probably the best female in the books) but she was even better in the show

I just feel like the last ep was a bit rushed. I thought there'll be more conflict and hurdles before Kate and Anthony wed. I'm happy regardless. Kate and Edwina's skin is SO GOOD AND RADIANT. I'm so ready for Season 3!
In the book they actually wed a lot earlier. Antony freaks out when Kate gets stung by the bee, tries to suck the poison out, when Lady Feathrington walks in on them. So they have to get married (he was never engaged to Edwina). They really dragged it out in the show in comparison.

@@RealTalkWithSSG Every book in the series focuses on another sibling of the bridgertons, so there are 8 books and as far as I know a few novellas. Shonda Rhimes has said that they will not go in order of the books, so we really don't know which one will be next.

Season 2 was FAR better than season 1 and it’s all because of these brilliant actors! Kate and Anthony have such amazing chemistry it’s insane. I loved it so much!!

I have rewatched this show TWICE!!! something that I rarely do unless I really love a show. I must say this season blew my mind, I was so invested in each and every episode from start to finish. The casting was spectacular especially because according to the books Kate and Edwina are white characters but the show changed that by making them Indian that too dark skinned. Now that's a 10/10 from me. Also, the music and costumes were impeccable. The way they used songs in this season was just... beautiful. Loved it.
Another thing that I loved so much was the character depth and arcs. This season managed to go deeper into Anthony's character and made me actually like him considering the fact that I didn't like him in the first season. I also love Kate's complexity as a character... it's like I had no idea what she would do or say next especially the part where Anthony proposes to her after she regains consciousness. Then there's also the erotic Kate and Anthony moments...I swear my body temperature spiked to a million degrees. It's one of the most beautiful sex scenes I have watched in a TV show. SEASON 2 OF THIS SHOW IS GOLD. Please watch it if you haven't.
I had just finished watching S2 a couple days ago and I’ve been rewatching all the kate&anthony scenes every day!! So much tension I can’t help but punch the air haha really wish it was longer ! The two make such a great pair always egging each other on, I’d love to see more of that in future seasons for sure!
