That's WAY too much for how Bo is playing right now that might have been the off-season deal but now why would the Dodgers give up that much?
SS is a premium position and he is in his prime years. Last season he had a very good season. He never lost his abilities in a few months

Dodger fans aren't interested in Bo Bichette, especially if the Blue Jays want a premium. He's being outplayed in all facets by Miguel Rojas already. Dodgers will try to add starting pitching and or help in the outfield. The White Sox makes a lot of sense as a trading partner for the Dodgers. But Friedman wouldn't be afraid of making two deals if thats what is needed. Perhaps with the Tigers and the Rays.
Agreed that is too much for Bo. Dodgers need a SS but they may look elsewhere.
The jays need to get more then just 1 prospect for Danny janasan he is the best player coming out of the lineup
As a fellow Jays fan, I appreciate the effort in targeting a lot of pitching prospects in these deals. Their system is thin on pitching prospects that are ML ready (and just thin in general) and they’re going to need at least one, maybe two SPs in 2025.
Extremely underwhelming trade proposals Jim. I wouldn’t trade any of them for these cheap ass trades. Not worth it at all.

I’m a Padres fan, and I do like adding Yimi Garcia to this bullpen, but I’m not sure that Isaiah Lowe is the guy the Padres would want to part with in the deal. Another one of their top 30, like Carson Montgomery for example, i could see being moved in this hypothetical deal (if I was AJ Preller).
I also had Trevor Richards going to the Royals, although I had the Jays getting Asa Lacy and another lefty in Oscar Rayo in the deal.

I feel like in these trades you’re targeting guys who are far from mlb ready. I feel like the jays would rather guys (specifically pitchers) in double and triple a who can help in either the rotation or bullpen next year

No way the dodgers are going to give up 2 starting pitchers River Ryan and Knack especially the way Bo is playing this year plus the Dodgers just released Paxton so they have had so pitching problems this year . Maybe the Jays could get one of those starting pitchers and Lux and a couple of mid level Dodgers AA or A prospects in the Dodgers farm system Though you are right to trade Bo he unfortunately does not want to be in Toronto because they are rebuilding . In my opinion trading Guriel Jr and Teoscar caused the Jays downfall to where they are now Because they went from a team with a dangerous hitting lineup to one that had trouble hitting and their starting pitchers did not feel like they had to be perfect because they used to almost always score enough runs to win
The Jays are not having a firesale! Only some upending UFA's will be moved at the deadline. Doing a firesale is an absurd idea.

I’d rather trade for Kiner-Falefa over Bo. It would cost us less and he can play multiple infield positions. The Dodgers need some contact hitters that hit for higher averages rather than guys that are going to swing for the fences every time up.

Maybe Bichette not Vladdy. Bo seems to not want to be in Toronto by his play and body language. Jays management would be wise to hold Bo until the summer unless management holds the cards close to their chest and get a bidding war for Bo by saying they will not trade Bo to rob Twins or Dodgers at the trade deadline.
I would see if Mets are willing to trade Alonso to Jays for Bo maybe sending Bassitt back to the Mets also.

That's what we heard as well...Twins is looking for one last power hitter and 1 or 2 pitchers....We have not done anything this year other than fine tune our team. And cut backs as well to make this possible ,,,Twins would like to make a run at the world series.

Gavin Lux is not what this team needs. He's 28 coming off a major injury last year and just isn't good. The average was there 2 years ago now he's fallen off a cliff. I honestly don't know think Toronto keeps Bo and Vladdy because they can't afford to be awful in 2025

Jim Riley is completely missing the most Blue Jay goal by getting under luxury tax in 2024. Seriously lack of baseball common sense. All his non-major trades are quite possible, but can they get the Blue Jays under the Luxury tax? It would be certainly very close. The return of prospects would be minimal.
