a lot of young people dont realize these guys paved the way for a lot of bands today. never really got the recognition they deserved, but, still had a successful life and hard core following. thank you Rudolph.
First thing: This is very tight little niche scene we're talking about. No real industrial band really get that big, not even Front Line Assembly. It's just too small. Unless you go mainstream like NIN e.g. Secondly, they fucked a big part of their career by doing a shit ton of smack. I'm kind of amazed that they still managed to get such great albums out as Too Dark Park e.g.
So, the morale of the story is that you don't deserve anything - you earn it. OK? Ok..
Yep. Nine Inch Nails ripped these dudes off all the time!
@@bradbradford1010 example?
@@bradbradford1010no they didn't. Quit making shit up, goober.
Dig it = down in it
Nice... been listening to them (57 years old) since 1982! Long live BC Canada!!!!!!!!
My favorite band! This tour has to come to Europe! Please Skinny Puppy.
I have been a bit of a SP fan since the late 80s. I used to put on "Too Dark Park" (on cassette, yes, I go way back) and fall asleep on the floor of my bedroom in college. Don't know the band members names, but II love how this show is so full of intensity, heavy sounds, and screams, then the lead singer comes out and he and his band members just seem like they're just happy and thankful for the crowd. Fuck yeah. Seem like a nice bunch of dudes. Love that they are still rocking out after all these years.
Too Dark Park was my first SP album and still my favorite. I got it on CD which is now also vintage shit, ha.
There are few bands that I absolutely love, but Skinny Puppy are one of them. I'm sick that I can't see them (no Ireland and UK dates...) but I'm extremely grateful for channels that upload their shows. It's history for fans of the music. The band sound better than ever. I've seen a few people upset that there's no blood and guts during these shows, but Ogre said himself - it's because he's not tortured anymore. And you can appreciate an artist who performs from the heart. A lot of guys would go out there and just spray the blood around and play songs that don't have any meaning to them. Not our boys.
He's also allergic to the blood now iirc
I just saw them last night in Cleveland. Thank you so much for such a great recording of this show! I'm still taking it all in.
I’ve seen them 10 times over the years … no other band/stage show compares
This is a killer recording, great job and thanks!
This makes me so sad I will never get to see them perform live.
Thank you for catching this excellent footage.
me too 😭😭😭
They will came back
@@kdexter13doubt it. There's got to be at least 1 more Ohgr tour left though
I was lucky enough to see this tour. Probably one of the best shows I've been to. It does bum me out that this is supposedly their last tour, but who knows, maybe they'll get bored or run out of money and do another one.
haha thats my dad and i right in front of you (hes the guy with his hands up right by the rail in the beginning and im right next to him on his left!) awesome show great recording
This is wonderful! Thanks for sharing. I just saw the very final show in Seattle last night. So incredible and left me wanting more!
just saw them in portland, ogre was AMAZING and the whole thing felt really sentimental. felt really lucky to have seen these guys play, thanks for uploading!
I'm seeing them in Seattle tonight for my 3rd time! Thanks for sharing! I can't wait!
Thanks for posting! appreciate the great sound and camera work. seeing them tonite but I am short so this is the view I only wish I could have. Appreciate this very much!
I saw them in Silver Spring, fantastic show! thank you for sharing this
Yeah I was at the Silver Spring show, and it was all I had hoped for. Really glad I can see footage from the other venues!
They're so tight musically on this run. It's great to hear.
This band need a record with this line up Ill say it again
I can’t wait to see SP in Seattle 🎉
Me too!
8 days to go!
Thanks for the great seats
Im so excited I’m going to the San Francisco show in November!!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing them in Denver in 2 days can't wait.
Great recording, thanks!
Thanks for sharing
Absolutely cool
Saw them live in Detroit for the Too Dark Park tour. Loudest concert I've every been to, the main floor was literally making the floor move...
Love that bass player😱👍🏿🇺🇸🌹
I love the old school line up of songs
Thank you everymuch for put this on I . Missed this I love 💕 it but they come again they always do
Nice! I tried to record some at the Houston show, but the dude behind me was yelling all the lyrics.. haha
The ending of this show is amazing. I hope it's the same in Calgary.😊
I almost regret deciding not to go to the show. Thanks for the post.❤
Yoooooooooo ❤
Merci, ce show ma marqué à vie, je suis en deuil fuck you Skinny Puppy je t'aime 👽✌️
They sound so good
Saw them in SF 2014, Warfield. Love SP!!
this is fantastic
Thanks for posting this! Saw them last night in Calgary and I could never explain how amazing it was for me. Even got to meet OhGr in the hotel elevator by chance ❤
That reveal of his alien head is so cool. My favorite reveal is still that weird green suit/white mask outfit with the umbrella that had the radiation symbol, from 2014/2015. (at least, that's the first time I saw it).
I am so sad I never got to see them when they came to the UK 😭😭😭

someone else can add the rest of the songs if they care to, the youtube uploader could combine the timestamps and make a full list. I only chose the songs I like. VX Gas Attack is the first song so I didn't include a timestamp for that one.
44:02 Pedafly
They start with VX Gasattack.
Going to the Fillmore Tuesday Psyched for this show🖤🖤🖤
I was there
I saw Skinny Puppy for the first time with my dad yesterday in California. It was nothing like I had ever seen or experienced before. At some points during the performance, everyone would stop drinking and dancing to just watch in awe at the scenes that were being played out. I was at the front of the crowd, so when the part when the blood/fluid spraying out of Ogre’s character came, I was so close to the point where i felt like I could almost be sprayed too. I had zero obstruction of my view. It truly was an experience and I am so grateful for my dad taking me to see this performance. And everyone in the crowd were pretty cool people, too. After the concert, my dad, brother, and I had a conversation about what the meaning of the performance was. This was my first and most likely my last time seeing these guys perform, but it’s definitely one I will remember.
What was the meaning because his shows were more disturbing and goth / dark now it’s all alien instead. Wonder the change
I just saw them last night in Lawrence, Kansas. It was an amazing, bad ass show.
How was the sound live? These recordings don’t do it justice I assume
No band has been a bigger part of my live. Have seen them 10 or more times time over the past 35 years and took my son twice when he was old enough. No other stage show can compare. They are the industrial band that defined the term. It can’t be over…. It just can’t
Such a great show for the final tour. The pups will be missed. Candle is the perfect closing song.
There will never be another band like them again.
Does anybody know if a blu-ray will be available of this tour? Cuz I love it!!! ❤
I loved this show so much I went to see them again a few weeks later
Nice audio.
Can’t wait for Friday!
and wow a suprise visit from richard patrick
My favorite show of all time🤘🤘
Hello, would you be interested in sharing your footage for a fan multi-cam edit of this show? I'd really appreciate your collaboration and we can reward you!
Whats up. Of course, that sounds like a good idea.
@@cratesclouds Hi, just touching base. Please feel free to contact me when you have the chance. Let me know if you have any trouble!
So many screams from the left from me!
Can't wait for Sick New World! 2 weeks!
Saw them at sick new world but it was unfortunately during the day! Skinny puppy is a night experience , wish I could’ve seen their full blown stage show like this one!
My biggest regret will be not getting into SP sooner, i only knew I'mmortal before i heard they were doing a farewell tour. I shouldve said fuck it and went anyways.
I kinda wish I had gone to one of the shows. I didn't even know they were touring until I had already bought tickets for an out of town festival that was set over the same days I'd have been able to see SP locally.
Thanks to these youtube videos of all the different US shows from this tour, it makes me a bit glad I didn't go to see them at a later date. I could've gone to the Silver Spring MD show since I was in DC that day but didn't even know about the tour until about a week later.
Because this isn't it... it's never good to ruin once-good things with a lackluster redux... I've seen SP before and everything about that show was better. This tour seems to be a watered down lite version of that tour. But this setlist is of course cool since it sticks to their fan-favorite top songs from each album, for the most part. Surprised no Assimilate though. Crowds usually love that one.
RIP Dwayne Goettel
Such a terrible loss. I think about him every time I listen ti their songs.
And still Pittsburgh waits for a reschedule. Or any update would be nice
just home from seeing them in SLC on 4, May 2023… great show, but being this is supposedly their final tour, my opinion, they should’ve played way longer than what they did…. I mean they’ve been around for almost 40 years, and have a lot of songs in the catalog to choose from. Ohgr and Cevin Key are absolute legends though
they are all past 60 its way past their bed time playing shows. they need to have good food and good sleep or they will die from not having food or sleep.
Last night Ohgr had to have 4 teeth taken out and he STILL played the show! He's missing 4 bottom teeth now because an accident on stage.
Wow that sucks to hear. Shame that had to be part of his experience on the final tour. Really going to miss these guys.
Oh my...😢😢😢
list of songs?
Cant believe no Tin Oman
They're last concert was 3 months ago and I just discovered them? 😤😫🤦♂️
I feel bad for you. I wasn't lucky enough to see them live but I've known about them around 15 years now
I know they say it's their final tour, but I would love to see a tour with just the two Kevins. No drummer, no other musicians, just Cevin and Nivek playing Bites, Remission, and Back & Forth material. Even better would be to bring back Wilhelm Schroeder/Bill Leeb for a REAL final tour. All drum machine and sampled drums. A lot of older industrial bands have been using live drummers (Nitzer Ebb is another one that comes to mind) who drown out the rest of the music. It's basically drums and vocals. I LOVE Skinny Puppy and have been listening to them for 3+ decades, but I was really bummed during this last tour - I could barely hear anything Cevin was playing. I know it wasn't due to bad sound at the venue as it's the same in all the videos from the tour.
Was at this show. Saw them two other times, also great, but they played nothing but bangers... up until they closed out the encore with Candle. That, to me, was a strange decision. Still amazing though.
I haven't gotten to that part of the set in this video yet but I saw them last night and Ogre said it was his favorite song, especially from The Process so I'm thinking that's why they did that? I thought it was just impromptu for us lol.
@@bryan123483 Candle -- best song from TP, sooo atmospheric ❤️🔥 yup, and my favourite too
I think closing with Candle was a nod to Dwayne... Not 100% sure, but that's what it feels like to me.
👍33rd
their first new song android
How was Lead into Gold?
They ripped in Houston! Stripped down and played lot of new album, which I think is great. Super loud, now I listen to everything louder as a result.. ha
Can someone list all the songs they played? Would really appreciate it.
In the description
richard patrick doing a new version of the take
and jason ricci on guitar
I hate that these guys broke up!
@1:33:43
Now I know where NIN came from.
Was this the TLA?
It’s the Met. They did change the original venue @ some point. I would think they sold out the initial smaller venue faster then they expected, & booked The Met instead which is bigger.
why does this have to be their last tour :(
welcome to world of the robot
not sure about having a human drummer. I NEVER missed that in the old days. Yes I know Cey added live stuff to the drum tracks. Just don't see it as an improvement.
It's a visual thing. Watching someone play drums is more interesting than watching someone push buttons. The opening act was two men and a box, and I couldn't really get into it. It was boring.
Or Testure ?
It's a more accurate version of "The Wizard of Oz", this tour.
I am literally so jealous of everybody in this crowd. P.s. oger's still got it.
Wow. A stage show that would make any unknown, opening band cringe.
Nice Philly gets a show. How about a reschedule date for pittsburgh. Since we got fucked off the night before.
They’re working on it, no need to be like this. Ogre ended up in the hospital that night.
@@amym2775 thank you for the reply. Sorry to hear thats how it ended up. Communication is key. Pittsburgh obviously loves skinny puppy. The house was sold out. Hopefully we will see you back soon and can enjoy a killer show.
@A I remember I saw OhGr in 2018 in Philly when he got his jaw broken. Came out that night a little late but it was incredible that he soldiered up and did the show anyway.
That said, you don't fuck around with concussions, and you really can't expect it from a 60-year-old guy. It's insane enough that he did THIS show the next night.
What happened?
Just reminding the band they are NOT allowed to publish or perform anything about me without written my consent which they do not have. I recommended they don’t tour while the fam might be under investigation since there might be songs about us. now I see it as a violation to my privacy and being disabled just feels so wrong and badly timed. I urge fans to not give the boys any personal info.
Fuuuck! So wish everyone was still alive and in the band still. Been a major fan since the early 80's. Saw over 15 shows over the years. So going to miss the most influencal industrial band. Ever. Sucks!
Great show
"Play it loud, or dont play it at all!" Nivek 1991....
He said that for ViviSectVI in 1988, not in 1991, dork.
