If it had the R-73 and R-27ER then it would have to go up in BR, per the precedent set by the MiG-29G and it would get sucked up into top tier hell even more than it already is.
@ why would they give it only R-73s???? I agree on the flight model part but history is the most important part of this game and the 9-13 used the R-27R in the 80s, so it should get the R-27R.

The Mig29 FM is not half bad at high speeds, and you have a good mix of defensive r27ers and extremely agressive playstyle r60ms, which you can either use IRST for sneak attacks(Trust me there is a lot of blind f4s and f14s), and the flare resistance isn't that bad inside of 1.1km
People thinking the FM is not accurate are a pain in the ass. The aircraft follow all of its aerodynamical charts, and I would be glad to prove you all that you know little to nothing about aerodynamics… The only USSR the plane has is a poor instructor and facing overperforming planes that’s it… I will gladly hand you the aerodynamical manual to show you why it behaves this way…
@ since it’s an available declassified document, there’s nothing secret or classified… As for “being bad” most aircraft in game are modeled following their manual if available, if not it’s pure extrapolation. All F-16s, euro-canards etc… overperforms because of how gain models planes, negative static stability simply does not exist in game and vont be properly modeled without reworking the instructor and doing some physics change… I love the 29, it’s just as accurate as it can be, and gaijin will do next to nothing to improve it since it’s “realistic” If you want a better 29, that may overperform to some extent, promote the MiG-29M suggestion on the forums or the K 9.41. Both have relaxed stability with FBW and should be competent enough in BFM, better than the MiG-29 9.12

The plane is just pure dogshit, there is pretty much 0% chance of getting more than 1 or two kills in a match. i can't make it work and it might be a skill issue, but i have 2.0K/d with shit like the Lightning and Ouragan. I also love how the su33 is 0.3br higher despite the fact it has R73 and like 4x as many R27ER's
