    SO Many great and funny parts to this new VLOG Jim. Thank you! I'll list it out this time!
    1. Appreciate your honesty being knackered as to why no VLOG for a while. Frustrating for us because we hang on for every vid but I totally understand mate. You need a life outside of this too.
    2. "Erection, can't remember one of those!" haha! Nearly fell off my sofa laughing!
    3. Alan from AM Details "Ding!" hahaha! Did fall off my sofa laughing!
    4. Your face at Terry slipping!
    5. Put your chocolates in the fridge where they should be! lol
    6. Not sure you'll be on dancing with the stars any time soon!

    Cool way to lay out your vid mate. Nice change esp. around the cleaning stage. Different style works for me. Some guys watch wanting you to work on their car and others watch to learn. Thanks for catering for both. The 11 people that disliked this video are unfortunately from a brother and sister union.

    Hi Jim, love your videos but worried I might have become addicted. This morning in the shower I covered my entire body in soap, let it dwell for 5 minutes before rinsing off with the shower head. I then washed my body using a two bucket method ensuring that the flannel used on my undercarriage wasn't used on my face. I got out and dried myself with a plush drying towel and then did a one stage machine polish on my teeth with an Oral-B electric toothbrush. Finished it all off by spraying some Chemical Guys Bare Bones Undercarriage Protection on my undercarriage and rubbing Dodo Juice wax all over my entire body. Keep up the good work mate! Rob Prince

    Interesting to see this one. I have the same car and ended up using Menzerna 400 (heavy cut) because the paint was really hard. I also had to use the ibrid to get a lot of small areas/contours. Glad my approach was somewhat close to Jim's. Great stuff as usual!

    Love the videos !!! exceptional work !!!
    But !! get some new buckets kinda let the side down lolololol ( filthy )
    Idea - get a blast cabinet (sand blasting ) or have one made with a door , for blowing off pads with an airline , be able to put DA in the cabinet , shut the door put your hands through and blow off pad , No more airborne particles ??
    Have you recently or featured a satin colour or mat for white detail ? or cars with wraps ?
    Fix that broken tile by the ramp its doing my OCD no good !!
    whats your feeling on using steam / warm pressure washer , for cleaning better results ?
    How do you deal with manky wheel weights after the cleaning process , rebalance ?
    And finally cloth seats , whats your best for cleaning best results ?

    I love binge watching your videos, you are a true master. I am curious as to what duster you use that does not introduce light scratches? Is it lambswool? Thank you for sharing your works.

    • @No-Gumph
      @No-Gumph 7 років тому

      The duster is a lambswool duster. You do have to be careful to flick off the dust rather than drag it across. You also have to spin it on the handle and then run your hand down it to remove the dust that is caught in it. This is an excellent duster and probably the same one.

    People needs to realize that it is easier to detail a BMW M6 than a Toyota Corolla. A vehicle more expensive is always easier to detail because of the quality of the materials inside the car and the excellent quality of the paint. A corolla as no clearcoat to work with and the new models are more difficult than a Ferrari to detail because of that. I just finish an old M3 part of a collection and it was easier than my brand new RAV4 2020. Today’s vehicle are so cheap that you can’t put anything on the inside. Expensive cars are the easiest because you take your time and the quality is wonderful so the results are pretty amazing.

    • @No-Gumph
      @No-Gumph 7 років тому

      I have tested a number of trim restorers. Wolf's Chemical's Trim Coat is very decent, but doesn't last all that long. Gyeon Trim is superb for textured plastic surfaces, but is very difficult to lay down evenly on smooth plastic. I have found that Gtechniq Permanent Trim Restorer is easy to apply on smooth and textured plastics, offers excellent colour restoration, beading and so far durability.

    Hello. I have a question. Do You wash the car after paint corection the before apply ceramic coating ? Is it just youse prep? Sorry for the mistakes but i'm witting from Poland and i can do a few writing this text:) regards :)

    • @No-Gumph
      @No-Gumph 7 років тому

      You can wash the car after polishing to remove any polishing dust. However, before a ceramic coating is applied it is important to remove all traces of polishing oil from the surface because the coating has to bond to the paint. So even if you wash the car, it is advisable to wipe down the panels down in Gyeon Prep.

      @Tim Verlooy I was just rewatching some of Jim's old stuff and came across your question... Don't know if you had seen the answer but he has said in other videos that the coating can crystallize sometimes. When putting it on the applicator, you blow if off to make sure there are no small crystals that could scratch the finish.
