    Fueled by the success of its DJControl Inpulse range and the DJControl Inpulse T7, the DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition comes with a range of unique enhancements and sleek finishes that will make it easier for modern DJs to scratch and perform anywhere. The controller features a high-quality premium fader module, two new slipmats ideal for scratching, two slipmats ideal for traditional mixing, a transport case and eye-catching gold details and markings. Designed primarily to serve the hip-hop and scratching community that embraced the original DJControl T7 most enthusiastically, this new controller from Hercules will add a little extra heart to every beat. The DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium Edition comes with two software licenses, Serato DJ Lite and DJUCED. It is compatible with Serato DJ Pro. To complete your DJ setup, you can connect your PC or Mac to the DJControl Inpulse T7 Premium and use free included DJ software like DJUCED or Serato DJ Lite. You can buy a licence or subscribe to the premium version of Serato DJ Pro if you want to improve your experience with it. DJs wield the power to blend and beatmatch with precision, courtesy of the standard-sized 7" platters that leap from 0 to 33⅓ RPM in the blink of an eye. The magic doesn't stop there - they can even liberate the cherished vinyl discs and the velvety scratch slipmats from their metallic embrace, recreating an authentic turntable sensation in a digital format.

    I have a t7. I put a cd on each,underneath the mats. It actually helps with the back spin. And got the upgraded fader.

      @spectralknights2 I use to use cd's back in the days when I use to spin vinyls. It work great for me back then. I'll try out the plastic later on to see.

    Hands down (and hands up too!) this is the best controller there is for the starting DJ.

    sooooooooooo what are the upgrades to the faders ??????? are they now non contact faders or did they keep the same alpha faders and just decrease the cut in time ? seems like a very vague description of the upgraded faders.. from the pictures i have seen it looks as if they are still alpha faders meaning contact faders which will have more resistance and will need more maintenance over time from friction break down…

    Did they Fix the BackSpin? I saw a video earlier that the BackSpin from the first version isn't Loose.

      You need the T7 scratch mats which is on their website to order. Without the scratch mats these things have no backspin at all. I had one wasn’t a fan.

      cut a piece of plastic the same size as the vinyl and put it under the slip mat. it makes it feel so much smoother and easier for backspins

    Please don’t tell me this thing is also belt driven 😢. It has so many potential, but this is a major dealbreaker

    • @CJScratch
      @CJScratch 5 місяців тому +2

      yes it is still belt driven … the main reason why this unit is less expensive .. putting direct drive motors in this unit would greatly increase the price ...

      @@CJScratch I understand, but it is worth it in my opinion. It's targeted at the amateur / semi-pro dj. Now it falls right in between 2 markets. A starting dj with no vinyl experience will probably lean towards a conventional controller. A dj used to direct-drive will never go back to belt. The only controller that comes close is the REV7 with it's battle-style layout , but this is targeted towards hiphop dj's and is at another price level.

      To be fair the platters feel great and for something so small belt drive motors are perfectly suitable . I had one but sent it back for a bent fx lever right out the box. The unit is extremely light too i mean like 10 pnds it feels like a toy imho.

      @@DjTecniq The thing with belts is, they work fine at the beginning but then the elastic belt starts to loose tension. Really curious how it holds up over time

      None of the reviews I've seen have complained about it being belt driven. The issue was the faders which they've seem to addressed.
