What I find curios about the American school system is uniformity and structure, it seems like your taught to do things in the same way without differentiation and in precise sequences instead of using ingenuity or thought. An example is basic mathematics, instead of doing it in your head you do it on paper, like 300x320 etc. Now this could just be bias based on limited information but I'm not sure. It's probably more likely that this creator just does that for the audience or it could be that you get graded based on shown work for basic arithmetic for which we don't in my country.

@@Anonymoose66G Oh yes, I'm an American, and yes we do get graded on showing our work. One time I got the answer right, but did it in a different way that my brother taught me instead of how my teacher did, and he took points off for that😐

@@kileyslife7541 Outrageous 😂. That's not teaching, that's indoctrination. I find that teachers are quite poor at actually doing their job in part because their pay isn't amazing, in patt due to people becoming teachers because of the time of, good benefits, not alot of training required and easy work. Quality teaching is a rarity because the good teachers go into privatized education. Which leads to teachers teaching students often the worse most inefficient and confusing way of doing something, for example in primary school (middle school) I was taught long division in a way that jut made absolutely no sense, you had to write out a whole essay in a precise sequence which you'd have to remember instead of just doing it the normal way that's 10x quicker. So I just did it my way 😂. Edutainment makes education so accessible and it's of higher quality than classroom based learning in 1/10 of the time. It also allows you to choose the method that works for you instead of being stuck in one that you don't like.

@@Anonymoose66G Yeah what you said about having to learn the super long way of doing something instead of the more efficient way definitely happens a lot. But yeah I tend to not have the best teachers... A social studies teacher of mine in middle school would just flash his hundred dollar bills around bragging, and then have "non biast" conversations about politics when he had flags and pictures and posters all around his classroom about which president he's voting for. Which is also odd to me in general cuz we were middle schoolers. I had a teacher that sent out an email about an assignment being due on Sunday, I politely asked her if she meant Monday, and she gave me a whole essay about how I'm wrong, rude, and need to get my eyesight checked. I apologized profusely and then she goes "oh actually you were right, I did say Sunday, I'm just teaching you a lesson." Huh?? I had a teacher that had us send an exam online, mine messed up and was turned blank. I sent her a private message 3 times, emailed her twice, called her in person once, no responses. The second time I came up to her in person she said "You should've told me this earlier. I can't let you retake it now." Oh and the craziest teacher I can remember is when my math teacher would start class with pictures of cartoons that she edited about.... Killing her students. Had drawings of her drinking her students cut up body parts, running around the kitchen with a steak knife while a tiny version of a student was on a cutting board, etc. Idk wtf is up with some teachers💀💀
