I have a 2015 Ford Custom L1 H1 and fitted a Ford Galaxy seat onto the double seat swivel by making an adapter plate ... I used the Galaxy seat because the basic double bench is not at all adjustable in any direction and is uncomfortable on longer journeys for a passenger, the Galaxy seat turns easier the the double bench, ( and they can be a real pain) , leaves a good space between the front seats to be able to get from front to back without going outside, even when the swivel is set in the forward position.. and once swivelled it can move backwards/forwards, raise and lower and recline which is much better for watching the telly etc. Because I am 6' 1" I made a permanent bed along the offside , and on the nearside built a cupboard unit with sink and hob, I have a solar panel, split charge system and diesel night heater so ready for completely off grid adventures. Have been using it for a year now and have made a few minor changes... Ford are Great Vans, I much prefer it to the Common , expensive VW's, and no different to all the others for being stolen or broken into.. ENJOY...
Hello what I'm doing at the moment this using the silver stuff that you put in your loft to keep the heat in you can get rolls of that from like DIY shops just cut it down to size by putting it's on the outside of the windows just be careful not cut into the windscreen order side windows when cutting but that is a easy way to measure that's what I'm currently doing with my campervan conversion using the heat stuff I put in attics these days to keep the heat in and of course it's stopping people from looking in as well but you can also get the little suction pads that you can make a little hole in the blind and then it will stay there a course using your sun visors to hold the top in .
Any idea if we can use alternative passenger single seats to transit vans because they’re currently £600! Would be good to use a swivel that attaches to floor but can take other models
Thinking of doing something like this in mine, just wondered if you can lock the seat further backwards in its normal position or only in the one spot? Wondering as Id like to have the ability to go from the from to the back without getting out the van in case there is bad weather etc.
John Ratcliffe Thank you it is a 2012 transit van . I specifically wanted to convert a transit because of the size and shape. I can park in most places and fit underneath most barriers 😁
@@BelindaW505 I'm about to buy a much older one. Didn't know you could swivel a double seat. I shall look at your vids. Only ever done much bigger vehicles.
Got one from Jennings seats or something like that and it won't fit... Going to have to modify it. P.S Come check out our build! I think we got the same ford transit!
Thank you so much for this! The part were you cut extra pieces of the floormat will save me a lot of thinking and scratching my head :)
You are welcome 🙏🏻😁

I've just bought my Ford Transit to convert into a camper. Love this, just about to order one. :-)
Nice job Belinda. That is well cool. I had a Transit van years ago and I should of done something like that back then! Well done. 😀👍
Thank you 😊

Can you please tell me the type & size of tool-bit the handsome fellow at 3:03 used to remove the seat's floor bolts? (happening at 2:33)
I have the same van and did exactly the same to the seats . Yep totally changes the van . Good luck with your van 👍
Brilliant, it’s definitely a great addition. A transit makes such a good campervan 😁🙏🏻
Great Video! X
Bet you can't wait to hit the road on your next trip. Take care xx
I can’t wait 😊 it’s going to be so much more comfortable 😁 Thank you 🙏🏻
Good job, is it possible to have a swivel on the main seat when there is a swivel on the double? Have a good one :)

Use a drivers single base and bmw e46 seats
CAN you give me the address where i can buy this piece ,thank you so much
I have put a link in the description for you. It was bought on eBay, sorry I do not have an address. Thanks for watching 😊
Great vid. Do you have the link for where to get the product?
Roller blind I used
Hi where is the link for this product please
Have you fitted this to a transit mk7 or a custom? The link takes me to one that says it's for a custom. Does it just fit both?
The link to the swivel base leads to a van model different from yours but it obviously fits perfectly. How did you research that particular swivel?
They custom make it to order 😊
@@BelindaW505 Ah, perfect!

It is in one position and I don’t think you can change it to lock it further back
@@BelindaW505 thank you for the reply 👍👌
You can use the same curtain system as lorries use. They will blind all of the front windows 🤗
What was the company/website you brought the swivel plate from?
Way to go... 😯😷
😁😁😁
Good video. Thank you. What year (model) is your van?
