I'd have loved to.have flown on Concorde. Imagine flying on the edge of space and seeing the curvature of the Earth! Incredible.
I was in a cab entering the Lincoln Tunnel when the story of the Concorde crash came on 1010 WINS. Told the driver: Well, that's it for the Concorde.
Concorde should make a comeback.
should but wont because airbus would never support it to return to flight.
I flew on her when I was young - very memorable for so many reasons...!!
Aw, what lovely stories
Thanks Abi - glad you liked it!
The last passenger flight was invited guests only apart from the 1 passenger who had booked many months in advance, before her retirement was announced. BA honoured his booking, and he flew with the celebrities & media folk invited on by the airline......
No fair!! Living after 2003 means all you get for air travel is:
-Shitty airplane food
-Being a sardine for 12 hours
What is there to possibly be happy about in today's air travel vs. being on a Concorde??
I remembered we all got wasted and celebrities were doing cheeky lines 😤 like Tony Montana. Oh, the good days 🫡 🛫
