New Dawn is the only league cinematic which is ACTUALLY reflective of what happens in a typical league game. Draven gets 1 shot by Rengar and rage quits, Darius NEARLY 1v5's, Graves and Jax show up just to Job to Naut. Leona some how doesn't die.
The Curse of the Sad Mummy is by far one of Riot's best work! Its artstyle is so unique and different from the rest. Everything in that video is so layered like its a broadway show yet having vfx that enchances the scene, only possible through video. Superb song writing and story-telling with a electrifying yet melancholic bridge that ends the video in sadness. In conclusion, Doublelift basic asf.

Why did you not give Get Jinxed the same "Of the time" criteria? It was absolutely Huge. It was the progenitor for all the best Cinematics for League so it HAS to be S tier

I think The Climb was their first cinematic that perfectly married the lore/characters/world of League with the gameplay/meta/community of the game. All the champions are doing in-lore things. Yasuo was fighting against Noxian army, Taliyah was fighting against Xerath, Ekko and Blitz were fighting against unspecified chemtech villains, Miss Fortune pirating and Lucian getting his wife back. The transitions were on point, and the whole video is about fighting, failing and getting back up, always moving forward and up. Hence the climb, which alludes to climbing the ladder/ranks. Everything fits perfectly thematically.
