Actually, I kind of enjoy comparing fragrantica’s smell-alikes if I have the fragrance or a sample or decant. Some are near dupes while others are more like “in the family of”.
I get coming across addictive Zara fragrances, the Zara fragrance I am totally addicted to is Nuit and ironically I LOVE to wear it to sleep, it’s comforting and delicious.
D&G red cap is an OG that must make my collection again. I was gifted it in the dead of summer back in 2002 and wore it at that time, completely fragrance uneducated. I need to get it again and wear in the appropriate seasons.
Omg yes, Calvin escape definitely takes me back to 6th grade as well, the good old days with like you said hyper color t shirts, and espri bags, spraying my hair with tons of hairspray and rolls my jeans!! So cool!!❤️
Chloe Nomade edp 💖 . Chloe Roses Tangerine, love that one also! To me it smells EXACTLY like you are in a flower shop. I get tons of green stems in there. So, so, so pretty.
Came here to say this! I have a tester and that’s how it came so I assumed the testers are made that way to display that dangly thingy which I actually find so obnoxious with Montale bottles 😂

I am really starting to look at my transition to spring fragrances right now. The days are starting to get a little longer, sadly the weather isn't cooperating where I live. It has been snowing on and off all day and is expected to continue all weekend. I am happy to hear about discontinued fragrances. Sure you can't buy them retail, but some still pop up at discounters and there is always the possibility of finding a used bottle. I have bought quite a few long discontinued fragrances for reasonable prices. I have an "I never pay more than retail" rule for myself for discontinued fragrances Just in the last 6 months I got My Insolence, MMM Lipstick On, Chloe Love, Fendi Theorama, Manifesto L'Eclat (just today, still sitting on my desk), JPG Gaultier 2, Samsara EDT (red bottle) and probably a couple I am forgetting. I paid less than their original retail price for all of them.
Off topic, but I have my fingers crossed that you have a cart going with AlphaMusks! Sometimes I shop based off of your reviews and you have not let me down once! Anyways, I’m on there now trying to figure out what I want lol it’s so many to choose from. Just gonna buy one to see how I like it 😀

I am so ready for Spring! I've been really craving lighter scents, and slowly transitioning into them. Pure Honey , is a good one, still has a warm vibe without being too heavy. I recently bought the new Miss Dioe edp, and loving it!

Hey, Sarah! NC has been lovely. Today is cold and I am wearing a spicy amber vanilla (Amouage Material) because it's cold, but this past week I got out my iris perfumes and cherry blossoms. We have lots of beautiful cherry trees right now and they are making me want to wear cherry and cherry blossoms. I need to try ELDO Like This.
Great list! I've pulled out a few fragrances for Spring including Dior Pure Poison, CKIN2U for her, Club de Nuit Woman, A Drop D'Issey, Jasmins Marzipan, and Versace Eros Pour Femme, to name a few! Lol. I'm seriously considering selling off 90% of my collection as I only wear a small percentage and the others are just sitting there. I'm really attached to my perfumes though so it's a tough decision.
I love Chloe Nomade soooo much 💛 and I just recently purchased Sirene and omg you described it perfectly. I'm going to really enjoy wearing that one. I just noticed the designs on the bottle is women all around it. Love your videos! 🧡
Our weather here has been crazy. I live in North Central Texas, about 30 min West of Fort Worth, and it goes from 80 one day to 30 the next and were expecting a freeze on Friday again. So bizarre! The weather here is fickle and I cannot wait for the warm weather to stay but I hate Texas summers where it gets to around 110 every day. I wish it would stay around 80. That would be perfect!! Hey Sarah, talk about what you like. I like the hunt for discontinued fragrances, it is fun to find a unicorn especially if you get it for a steal. I am here in Ireland and have found fragrance discontinued here on other European countries websites, takes patience though.

Have you tried James Bond 007 (the black one)? I had a sample and just ordered a full bottle. It seems like it will be a great transition fragrance. To me it smells as if you took Amethyst by Lalique, amp up the vanilla, and then it has Gardenia and Jasmine that sneaks in there within the notes. I was immediately addicted and now have a full bottle on the way!
Pure Honey was my scent of the day layered with Pure Nectar from Issey Miyake. This combo is amazing, however Pure Honey doesn’t last as long as Pure Nectar. Still a nice fragrance 🥰
I have both Zara's A Mochi Atelier and Orchid. Similar but A Mochi less sweet than Orchid. Orchid is a complete, I mean a complete dupe of Victoria Secret Bombshell, without a doubt 😍
Hey Sarah, the Rose Elixir bottle with the pin going through the cap is a tester bottle :) Montale testers don’t have the stopper around the neck. Kind of weird but it is what it is. Also wow! While you were in 6th grade in 1992, I was just a wee new born! But I still have memories associated with Calvin Klein Escape coz mum wore the heck out of it! (And I borrowed a couple spritzes every now and again! Haha)

The montale bottle is a tester, they make it that way so the pin doesn’t get lost while being displayed as tester.

Yes, it’s a tester bottle so it’s not functional for stopping the atomizer.
