That wasn't just cleaning that was biohazard and still is- as pricey as it can be; the landlord needs to have that sub floor professionally redone.

@@cleanwithbarbie you did a great job as always. It is a terrible idea that two depressed people have a dog. The dog needs good care. They have to take it to walk twice a day and it also needs training. I am convinced that this room will be in the previous condition very soon.

@@manaro11 that's a good question. Personally i don't like any kind of animal in the house. The smell and the hair all over the place,i can't stand it. What i mean is if you don't feel well don't take a pet, everything will be worse than it is .

Hi Barbie, not sure if you mind or not but just a quick easy suggestion if the floor has biohazard and you don’t want to step on it at all - you can take used grocery bags and put them over your shoes and tie them so you can dispose of it after you’re done cleaning. I am sure you clean your shoes after but sometimes that biohazard can be very bad and this is one way to protect and reuse something that is already gonna end up reused or trashed. I really love your videos and am so glad I came across your channel. Thank you for taking time out of your life to help people. The best part for me is seeing it done and seeing children’s things back in order and clean because it’s heartbreaking seeing that kids live in these conditions. They are too young to even understand why their caretakers are not taking care so they are victims in my opinion regardless of why an adult could not control the situation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If they are going to allow a pet to potty in the house they don't need a dog. I have had depression for over 25 year's and I keep my house spotless that is straight up laziness and pure filth. Bless your heart. They should have been the one's to scrub that floor. If you're ever in the position again vinegar straight..it will kill the germs from the smell also you can use ammonia diluted with water.

A lot of folks, myself included, like no music, but it’s up to you to decide. It’s a bit too much sometimes to listen to the person talking with music with lyrics. Some UA-camrs make 2 channels, one with and one without, lol. But that’s a bit much.

If ppl come in your comments whining about the music, they must not appreciate the actual video and what you do. I tune the music out and watch the cleaning! That's what I'm here for👍🏻 you do an amazing job. That subfloor needs to be completely removed. But it is possible to salvage it, by painting multiple coats on kills paint over it. That seals all the nasty and bacteria in. Biohazard clean up guys do that when human decomp gets on concrete.
People need to take notice of comments if they want to keep their subscribers though. For many, music that irritates will stop them from watching. I mentioned above that there is someone who does this without any music and it's very relaxing. and although the music here doesn't bother me I find it better without any music.

Listen. The work that you do is wonderful. At the same time, you can't do miracles! This floor would need sanding bad! And you're not a floor tech. You do the best you can. It's more than enough and 100% better than before. Congrats
G'day, chantdalturcotte! IMHO, the floor needs to be replaced from the biohazards present over that length of time. I wonder if it's even safe, meaning would it cave in to a lower floor level? I don't know if this is an upstairs or downstairs flat. I just think it's too far gone for painting or sanding.
Sanding would just make the smell worse. Knowing landlords, they will probably just go over it with a sealer like Kilz.

I think that sometimes ppl use depression n stuff just as an excuse to not clean .im afraid a lot of ppl are just lazy .this looks like bad habits to some extent.i hope I'm wrong.

You did such a good job on this room. I love your videos. The music and voice overs are really good. I renovated old homes for over 30 years. This house is quite old, I can tell by the size of the baseboards, they are made from old growth trees. That floor is beyond repair. It needs to be torn up and replaced. You helped the contractors quite a bit by removing the old tiles and all that dog waste. Thanks so much for helping these people and for sharing this video with us.

Right now you are pretty good balance of music and talking. This place was in the biohazard category which makes it extra hard for you and probably makes your clients even more depressed. I understand about sweeping to start as the idea of rubbing and crushing stuff into the floor bugs me terribly, plus I’d feel as though my shoes were getting filthy too. Great work! I don't want to sound negative but maybe it would be best for them to rehome the dog until they can get well enough to clean up after the dog. Until just recently, I had two dogs and they are a lot of work and require care. When a person is so depressed that they can't take care of their own self, they really can't care for an animal. Sadly, my dogs both passed within the last three months. One was 14 and the other 17.

I love listening to your accent!! Personally, I don't care for any of the You Tube music. Many times I watch with the sound off. I think the owner will have to replace that subfloor as they will never be able to rid the floor of that smell. Hopefully the occupants can feel a little better about their situation since the dust and hair are gone.

I’m shocked that you were able to clean that floor as well as you did! Amazing transformation. I hope the puppy is being trained to go outside or use puppy pads, otherwise the floor will just get ruined completely. The landlord probably has to rip everything out at this point.

I found that wallpaper removal solution devolves old grime and grease. I'm sure it would clean even dried up animal waste.

@@Drivenmomlife No guarantee he would be rescued. Most dogs are euthanized-in the USA. In Germany they have a better system for the care of dogs.
@@loralieisa out state actually changed their rules at our pound and no longer euthanize after a certain time last I checked. That dog would get a better home im sure! If she cant take care of that house! Or herself! She cant take care of that dog! And that dog can die n get health problems in that mess!
@@Drivenmomlife Teterboro Animal shelter in NJ used to not euthanize dogs going back some years.. However, now they do. I used to volunteer for FOCUS-Friends of the county animal shelter and was able to give people vouchers to get their pets spayed and neutered.for free. That program no longer exists either.A lack of money is the problem. Germany has a very good system and really takes good care of their dogs. That's what we need here. People say adopt a shelter pet and save a life, but clearly that's not working. Thousands upn thousands of healthy animals are euthanized every year.

Barbie, you are an amazing lady to even say yes, I will clean this up for you.😮 Most people would take a look at it and say, Absolutely not! This was an example of why many landlords do not allow animals to live inside their properties. Some people will just allow the animals to do whatever, whenever inside and it's not good for the animal or the people to live in that condition 😕
