Looks like a fabulous boat pity the person filming didn't use a wider angle lens or showed bigger shots of the rooms,you get a bit lost when the hand basin is the whole frame.
As time progresses, skills and material will improve.

There's a lot I like about Privilege, especially the layout of the older 745? 735? But on this one, access to the master cabin is via a pass through bunk? Same layout but have seen that area setup as an office which seems more practical.
I don't like the newer Privilege yachts compared to the older layouts. The 745 master cabin is epic. There's even a bathtub and it's completely private not to mention larger. I also don't like the seemingly random bunk placements on this yacht. Hopefully they improved the layout on recent models.
@@jamesaron1967 Agreed. The master cabin suite with bathtub and separate shower certainly stands out as different from just about every other catamaran design I've seen. Also I like the hull layout with the galley. Just about the largest galley I've ever seen, double full size fridges so perfect for long journeys and lots of time away from the dock, but also just beyond the galley intended as a crew bunk and mess would be a great breakfast nook and informal dining. Very snug.
Some of the Sunreef power cats have an interesting layout. Look more like a penthouse apartment than a yacht.
If I'm ever in a position to get something like this I'd stiil be seriously considering one of these older models.
Personally, I love this boat
the bent windows on the deck house is not needed, hard to replace if cracked or broken.
I like the layout, with the galley in the hull, even though it seems overall a bit cluttered! I don't like a fly-bridge at all (no good for blue-water heavy weather sailing), no watertight bulkhead I could see, nor any water-tight doors! the center cabin has always been one of my favorites on the Privilege Cat's, unique and clever.
Not all that clever. Everything on a yacht is a compromise...the centre cabin design means the wing deck has to be lower to the water to give head room in the cabin. The trade off is that you get a lot more waves slap on the underside of the wing deck as opposed to other yachts that don't have it. There is no perfect yacht, just what you are willing to pay for/put up with. Plus with this layout you have to go through cabin to access your room, great if that is where you put the kids down, NOT so good if they are teens or adults.
@@gbsailing9436 The master cabin access compared to the older 745 is more circuitous. It's also smaller and less well appointed. This yacht looks overall less spacious than the older models it replaces.
The 7 series has its pros and cons like 1 pro is the master cabin natural light set up is just beautiful but at the same time 1 con is the entry point in through a bunk room and this master doesn't have a tub like the 745 does. All on all I'll take a 745 over the 7 series
Same her for the same reasons. This master cabin looks smaller as well. A downgrade from the older model.

the 7 is a much stronger design over all then the 6.
the deck house is better layed out with the stairs to the top.
the interior color scheme on the 6 is better. should be an option for the 7.

Beautiful and many great features but spoilt I think, by two of the cabins on the port being pass through!!! One of which is on the way to the owner cabin. Not practical.
Funny i just see another vid , the builder explain it's a specific feature needed by the owner for his family, to store more people on board, the hammam too is custom made.

Flybridges on cats eat up so much valuable main sail space it’s ridiculous. BUT she is so gorgeous😃
Next step would have to be adjustable masts to accommodate a fly. If you have one, hard to live without, views alone are worth it

Flybridges raise the sail plan, they don't usually limit sail area. But raising the mast is also a problem. I don't like flybridges all that much either but they're very popular and many clients demand them, hence their proliferation.

Way too many differing levels. In my opinion, the designer did not think about the major movement areas.
The big one is the aft access...it should be on one level.
I need a floor plan so I can tell where everything is.
4.7million euro and you have to trip over hatches
The deck was probably designed for a teak surface that will make the hatches level.
If you can't step your way over hatches, you have to ask yourself how you got 4.7 million euro in the first place, let alone what business you have buying a boat.

They going to redesign the whole boat.
Hatches will be flat, if they dont do that they gonna be broke pretty soon.
Privilege builds very good catamarans, real craftsmanship.
But they dont listen to input, ZERO!

I will happily accept any of these crap catamarans that others do not want. I'm sure I will be very popular on the Great Lakes with a 70' cat.
So a catamaran is basically a yacht?? I was under the impression that they are two completely different vessels. But the more I research the more confusing this is getting.
Yacht is a general term that describes many kinds of boats. Even racing boats are sometimes referred to as yachts. There term is also not specific to the number of hulls.

I don't follow why there's a small kitchenette in the salon, yet a full galley down. 70 affords plenty of space for a full galley in the salon. Pity for the designer and way overpriced.
How fast can this cat go?
Depends on the wind ofcourse.
For example, if you got an "irma" this thing will go so fast your head will spin.

so it can handle fast strong winds and waves, thats actually good information to know for safety so thanks, which there are a lot of gimmicks out there that wouldn't last to well if caught in a storm and you will eventually if you sail a lot, yet some areas in the world are a little to dangerous weather for any boat, those tanker ships even known to go down with the waves.
Appears to be a beautiful ship. Hard to say completely what with the lousy camera work. I got positively DIZZY!

The decks were designed to have teak applied to them. The hatches will be flush with teak.
The boat is beautiful, but the camera person sucks. I got sea sick watching this video. I think the camera person wanted close ups of the walls and decks.

demasiado caro para mi gusto, no tiene una buena visión desde la cabina hacia el mar, cocina abajo tampoco me gusta demasiado calor abajo poca ventilación en cocina con los consiguientes olores y calor, precio demasiado caro, demasiado motor para un barco que se supone que es para ir a vela, barco poco atractivo para una persona que se sienta marinero, quizá un lagoon o fountaine payot te darán mas sensaciones marineras

No offense, but you really need to work on your framing and pacing. As in, let's start all over from the basics and work up our skill set before posting another one of these videos. This is the lowest quality camera work I have seen in the last 100 tour videos I have watched. Good luck and best wishes.

Videos without commentary suck
those glas hand wash-basins look nice, but are impractical. Fill in water to wash, and just little movement of the boat will splash water all over the place... gee, which idiot came up with this design?
Let me explain one thing about the mayority of boats. Most of the time they are laying still.
You sail from point a to b as fast as you can, and there you stay as long as you want or can. Wich is mostly longer, then it took to get you there.
