Nice video kevin. I've the same gripe with retakes with the amount of RNG they have. I hope the devs can make some tweaks/reworks to decrease the randomness in the future.

Hello Kevin! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time, and I guess this is the right time to ask my question 😅 I have a Très Chic with full lv 15 moves. The moves piercing stat in total is 60%. The problem is that I don’t if I should roll it into another stat, bc If I roll the 18%(the smallest percentage I can change) into something else I’d have 42% piercing. Is it worth it? I guess my main question is: What should I do about my Très Chic? I’ll upload pics of my full build! From what I'm reading, I would actually go for switching piercing into something else. With Tres Chic you thankfully have bleeds to compensate a Piercing loss, and the excess Piercing is best to change it into something else so it's not wasted.

Yes, it affects the odds of the debuffs from being inflicted. But it's not to be mistaken with the odds of the move's effect (like, extra accuracy doesn't increase the odds of a Silver Chord for example)
I know I’m not Kevin but this is how I see it: there’s a chance of a move inflicting debuffs, and if it would succesfully inflict debuffs, then there would be a chance for Resistence to kick in.

Hello Kevin. Having an advanced question my neighbors are facing rn. In actual battle controversial stats do their math. I am gonna show some numbers, 1st for enemy stat, 2nd for your controversial stat. Are 50, 50 case and 120, 50 case same in battle and result in 0 after maths OR 2nd case would work like 50, 0 case? In other words, do game keeps in mind stats in builds, which go over capped value and only preventing gap more then 50% to appear OR it doesn't care about stats over capped value, which means maxed out Accuracy (50%) guarantees your opponent will have lowest possible Resistance (0%)?

I only really started understanding the stats a smidge better once I got to lvl 50 onwards- though I still might take a while to process even half of this vid it’s been incredibly useful! New players would deff latch onto this haha

They just need to remove flat stats, crit resist, element bonus, penalty and we good

For offense yeah, it's usually helpful to have some HP to take some reflect damage
