I had no idea that you could disguise to remove the flame effect, wow... happy to hear you doing commentaries again! Hope you end up doing more.

You could maybe consider a video plays a none engineer class spy , focus on this very bug to tease pyros .
Don't forget to mention even less of a reason to use spicicle (over said stock)
If you think about it it makes sense - when disguising, the game removes your unusuals(aka removes particles), which fire is. My guess is it’s an oversight, and the devs just forgot to put an if statement in the for loop
Crazy thing is that it's been in the game for at least 7-8 years

Wasn't expecting a commentary, I've missed your calm voice!
Loved seeing (and hearing) a new voice comm after all this time. My only suggestion for future voice comms, if you decide to make more, is to lower the volume of the background music while raising the volume of your commentary. It'd be super helpful to hear your comm more clearly instead of having the two overlap each other.

You can add a compressor to your voice track to make it louder without lowering the music volume btw.

I remember telling you about this glitch a while back during one of your livestreams! I had already passed it on to Shounic too but he didn't think it was enough for a video at the time. Glad to see more awareness of it, it's the only way it'll get fixed. It's been in the game for a loooong time and most of the comp community was aware of it several years ago

Spy's the cheekiest class in the game, using "cheap" tactics is totally reasonable in my mind. Its not going to always fool people anyways, (especially with the best spy in the game bringing it to light) so have fun with it while you can.
Glad to see this voice commentary, I know it was a while in the making working up the confidence and getting some good clips, so great work. Hope to see more videos like this in the future, hope life's treating you well stabby.
Not really "fooling" anyone, the spy goes literally invisible if he changes disguise while on fire and cloaked

Really missed the voice commentary videos! Back when I was just a middle school kid who was obsessed with becoming a Spy main, I would watch them religiously to improve my technique and decision making skills. They helped me a ton.
Stabby still teaching me things all these years later. I'll be using the disguise trick
So nice to get a voiced commentary again.
I hope you make more voice commentary videos, your older ones taught me so much about how to play Spy and even this one taught me a new trick about disguising to remove the flame effect. One thing I would say is the music is a little loud, you speak pretty softly so might want to turn it down just a bit so you don't get drowned out. Great video as always.

I really like the heavy medic coming in, it's a pretty good example of being a support class. You're not exactly suppose to kill people, that's the sniper job, as a spy you create a distraction so great it puts pressure off the rest of your team. That result in the medic being able to build uber and push in .

Although you wouldn't tell from the voice, the gameplay suggests you've got so much adrenaline going through your veins at any given time that you're basically playing with permanent bullet time.
Spy is so weak that I think disguising to get rid of effects is actually a nice quiet buff

Tbh, the remove flames effect when disguising shouldn't be removed. It's not that big of a buff, and spy could honestly use it

Anyone have the song from that video that was simply titled "spπ" ? It came out in like...I wanna say October or November of 2013, there was a song on there that was an edit of Queen's "Break Free" that started with "One Minute Man" by Missy Elliott ft. Ludacris and some other weird song about "making sandwiches". So much nostalgia in that video for me, I found a copy of it on some Japanese UA-cam ripoff site but have not been able to find the OG video since stabby has unlisted it. Let me know if anyone has a link to it I'm itching to hear that song again.

no, you can put the bind in your class .cfg
