The thing you have to understand about this kind of music is that the lyrics don’t matter. Not nearly as much as the music and the energy. This band actually focuses on lyrics a lot more than most. But the general rule for Metal is it doesn’t really matter. Which is completely different from rap music where the lyrics are pretty important
Found the retard. Meshuggah, slipknot, lamb of god, Megadeth, crowbar, tool, Black Sabbath... lyrics are the reason I listen to heavy metal. "Yo I just banged a ho because I got fohty foe in da bag" is not an argument. Rap has its lyrical geniuses I agree, I argue it has its shitty artists the same as metal has five finger death punch and papa roach. Black folks don't write legendary poetry I'm just saying. Eminem is a better lyricist than the majority of rappers you can't deny that
Metal lyrics matter you just have to understand them.
Metal lyrics are slept on. That shit hits hard when you understand the underlying voice that's being unheard. Lyrically, metal has the hardest tone for emotional release, especially when you know the lyrics.
