Great to see you and the gang whilst I was queuing Scott what an absolutely fantastic opening day! And then the win for United in a classic.
It says a lot about how people feel about what they’ve done with the nemesis retheme. when most people headed there for a night ride, didn’t get to do it, but it didn’t dampen the day because the majority of us are just happy with how well the retheme has gone and how great it looks. And even in the rain aswell, most were just glad to have the ride back and looking so great.

Better late than never; I went to experience Nemesis Reborn this past weekend, and had to come back these videos now I don't have to worry about spoilers. Really great video guys, a big shame you missed out on the night ride on opening day, but still a great effort documenting the day.
Awesome to see you earlier on and share the back row ride on Nemesis; wickerman was flying round today too but I still can’t get over how good forbidden valley is now visually and also from an audio perspective. Incredible.

I knew it had been a good day when I was being cleared out of the queue after 8pm missing the night ride, freezing, soaked, and still not disappointed. Really well done.
It was such a good day, loved being there for it
Did you know that you were cleared out for no reason though? and around 90 people behind you got to ride it? they cleared 100s out of the queue who had waited for 2 hours for nothing. Really bad. We queued from 6pm watched the ride be evacuated which was clearly so they could do a full re-start. We were at the station at this point when the ride evac was complete. We then waited another 20 minutes before staff came and cleared 100s of people out of the queue line when the operator had not instructed them to do so which is beyond unacceptable. TPWW covered the situation on their VLOG it was cruel.

@@Adam-eh1qd I did know once I got home, but as an ex-ride host I'm not too annoyed as it's easy to make a mistake on the first day.
New season and all that. I was across from the station at the top of the hill when it stopped, and by the time I was evacuated I was down by the helicopter.
The new retheme is fantastic. I absolutely love it. I agree with you; they’ve done a fabulous job.

Honestly, the round LCD screen eye and the moving tentacles/pincers are absolutely the best piece of steaming not just for this coaster, but some of the best I’ve seen in a long time!😍😁

@@yourexperienceguide yeah we had an awesome day as we got to the main entrance at 7:00 and fast walked/waddled the back way to Forbidden Valley, we waited just over an hour and loved it, the theming is amazing and the whole area is incredible, fantastic work by the team to get it open
Excellent coverage Scott it looks very impressive especially the eye. You do realise how Blackpool pleasure beach/resort/Lancashire is being left behind. A paying customer where would you rather visit.

Was just ahead of u in the q, probably on the train after mine and the queue from mine train was a big mistake in my opinion bc it was 4 hours but then later it was just 80 minutes so in hindsight i should’ve waited until later but i was just too excited! The upside was seeing you guys, theme park worldwide, and getting a picture with john wardley which is something ill hold forever, it was great to get back on the beast and it was running amazingly yesterday!

@@yourexperienceguide Ive always felt Towers let in too many people. 90 min for a ride is abysmal....either they let in too many or they dont have enough rides. Maybe its the latter.

Looks absolutely amazing what they have done to the ride. Can't wait until I go in June to experience it all. It really is Nemesis Reborn rather than Nemesis Re-tracked. A pat on the back for Alton Towers.

Another cracking video. I think the last time the Wife and I went to Alton Towers was when Air opened. We did ride Nemesis when it originally opened in 1994/5, I think we queued around 2.5 hours for it at the time, maybe a bit longer TBH.
If you’re going to visit I recommend a weekday in off peak time.
Indeed, I mentioned that to the wife this morning. No school holidays too.
Great video! Think they could have put like a shop in the Que line like they have done with previous rides. It was always going to be a long day! Somewhere to sit whilst queing would be good too! 😂

Its great to see how much tlc they have given the area. I hope it continues in other areas. I love nemesis but id queue 1hr max for it. I cant see myself going back until project horizon is built as im a bit tired of towers as a whole and want to visit other parks for a change this year and next year. I cancelled my merlin pass last year too.

Head towards Wicker Man and then use the cut throughs to get to Forbidden Valley. It’ll be quiet tomorrow.

You just knew Towers would go that extra mile for this iconic coaster, the hype they have been building is reminiscent of the TV advertising in the 90s/00s, it's not been the same level since then, this feels like a return to that level (but fit for 2024)
If it’s a sign of things to come with Towers then the future is exciting 😄

The retrack and theme extension - polish. Has really lifted it and the area. Worth the wait. Now just to see what they do with Galactica and its possible dark future.
I think they’ll fully retheme Galactica for 2025

Not a clue, we had no idea it reopened as we were on our way home

With the Sky Ride being shut all year I'll be giving Alton Towers a miss this year. Alton Towers has suffered from so much neglect in recent years and is only now being rectified by Bianca. Hopefully, over the next 3-4 years the park will get its act together.
We’ll probably visit Towers more than BPB this year
When you look at the differences between BPB leadership & Alton Towers despite the limited reduced capacity for the 24 season Bianca’s positivity, passion and attitude towards the magic of the resort shows it’s the right place to be

Operations were still pretty poor though tbh. Rita on 1 train. Multiple ride closures. Slow operations. We shouldn’t have to buy fast track to have a good time.

I'm going in June so excited to see nemesis again it was my first invert coaster i rode it on opening day in 1994 it looks absolutely incredible this is what nemesis should have been huge shoutout to the team behind this 😎🎢🎢🎢

The whole area looks spectacular. Hopefully they add more to it. Compare this to what BPB has done lately with the big one and Valhalla and you'll see why BPB doesn't have a future

Yeah the sooner someone else in the Thompson family takes over the park and we get a bunch of new passionate managers as well. The better.
Bianca is a fantastic person, I am very grateful for the opportunity to meet her in person a few times
Why do Pleasure Beach fans and enthuasists seem to really dislike Amanda Thompson? I'm curious. Is it because she doesn't run the park the way fans want?
@@masterknife8423 Because her and her board members, or at least some of them are absolutely dreadful at running the park and have been for a long time, and what even worse is, they’re not even successful at it as the park continues to lose money. Purely because they’re too arrogant, stubborn and out of touch to change their business model. I.e. P1 price!
@dougbriglmen716 Are they really stubborn arrogant and outta touch though? What makes you and the other enthuasists think you know better than the actual owners and board members? Look no offence but sometimes I think it's the fans and enthuasists who are the arrogant ones at times thinking they're the ones who know what's best for the park
