People are so ignorant, but why do I expect better of youtube?
First thing. The doubled vocals on the screaming part is not FAKE/WRONG/CHEATING, it's a totally legit way of recording your vocals to give them proper sound so they sound fullfilled (You just record the same thing.) Guess nobody heard of pitch-shifting in screaming. Nice.
Second thing. Yes, he might have been reading the lyrics, so what? You just don't want to record everything over and over just because you missed a word, so why not read them (even if you know the song)? Also, giving his own touch-up in the lyrics is what makes this a nice COVER. Remember, a COVER, not the original.

Theres a Screamtechnique called "fry Scream" that allows u to scream very long. Check it out in tutorials to learn it

+trunkv18 tbh I think it's partly because he's trying to match a higher voice than his own. His voice probably is more suited to "simple plan styles" and rock pop, but it doesn't help that he always seems to be near the top of his chest voice in the verses alone.
