I think the mistempo and the not so good singing is partly intentional. It gives the meaning that these people who are just common people and not very good singers but they are making an effort in giving their gratitude to the disaster. They are not singers, but they feel sorrowful for the victims too, it gives the feeling of unscripted and not 'arranged'. If the situation that these people are good singers, it would give the arranged and scenario impression. The intention is the same for the Japanese version to have the common people singing, but the Japanese version somehow turned to be good. It's my opinion hehe
I LOVE this Song and it Reminds me of Someone I miss almost Everyday but Soon I will see her Again I , Believe that Because it's promised to me to Hug Her And Other's Who are special and missed.
This song is amazing, and for some reason I feel only in Japan they can sing it with true meaning, I like this version but I feel like this version is just a copy, sorry but I really feel this song was ment for japan
It most certainly is meant for Japan. But this version conveys the most heartfelt sympathy for the victims and survivors, in Japan, from the English speaking peoples to the Japanese. Beautiful, in that light.
My heart goes out to you when the winter snows give way to spring My heart is longing now, longing for the town where happiness had been… Been a place of hope, and dreaming too Been a home where my heart always went back to you But for now, I only dream of the people who I loved and knew Someone is singing, I can hear singing now Someone is weeping I can hear their tears Someone is smiling, showing me why and how To go on living for years and years Flowers will bloom, yes they will…, yes they will… For you who are here or yet to be born. They’ll bloom, yes they will and they’ll bloom again until There’s no missing sorrow and no reason left to mourn hanawa hanawa hanawa saku
This is just have taken from the ones sung by Il Divo, obviously a lot of people have not heard that one. This was well one by Il Divo whom I love very much and they are lovely groue of guys love Japan. I am glad some people tried.
I think the only reason this doesnt sound as good as it could is because the english lyrics werent written very well. It has been written very awkwardly hence the singing sounds awkward. Umm im not sure how to explain it but like we naturally emphasise certain sounds in a sentence and when putting lyrics in the song it should match up with the emphasis in the song (like the first and third beats for example where there is four beats in a bar).
I like both the Japanese and English version...But to me the Japanese version sounds more meaningful...
Thank you!
Grips my heart every time I hear this. So beautiful and meaningful. So full of promise.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for uploading the video.
With love from Japan

My heart goes out to you when the

This was this original English version Il Divo followed, out of the three versions I've seen I reckon the original Japanese version is the best.
3:05 the granpa with that heavy voice still in my memory 'till now (2018) XD
Love from England xx
Thank you so much.
I love it, but why they've changed the literal translation of one of the best lyric parts: "for you who will someday know love"?
just, why?
Expressed abstractly in Japanese.
but
In the translation, the background is specifically fixed so that it floats.
Yes right flowers will be blooming
I love this video....i like it...
love the song and my heart goes to the Japanese
this song reminded my dad ;(
1:31-1:35😆😆
Personally I don't think it is because it is being sung in English that it sounds bad, I think they should have just gotten better singers.
I like it better in japanese because I can understand it better.
I'm crying :')
I hope this song reaches the people of Ukraine who are hurt and sad
So such a sad song
It's nice and everything, but some of their tempos are bothering me real bad...
This is a nise song but sad abit
Where is the original from NHK?
Yeah me too cant find it
it's Hanawa Saku.
