those test pilots are real heroes, you just have to dare 💪
You know those are weighted test dummies right? 😅
hey! they left one of the crew behind!
Wait, are those actual people? Holy cow thats cool. I'd do it.
Why do they blow the seat away? I would have thought if you kept it attatched, you could drop it at the last minute and stow a tonne of useful kit in there. I know you need free legs to land, I'm just surprised they ditch the seat and all that spine support so quickly. It looks like a hell of a jerk when the chute deploys! I would have thought keeping the seats stucture and support around the spine and pelvis would preferably remain until after the forward momentum and sudden drag stretch you out like plasticman.
It wouod have been fun to have the timestamp of the actual frames from 300 fps and 120 fps. Otherwise, math.
The music used sucks, why not something from the 80s instead of this annoying cicada rubbish.
I think you had to be a little, shall we say, a bit odd, to be test pilots or specialists for those ejection seat tests.
