  • It's 8am April 8, 2024 and it's raining. We've got a full house here to see the total solar eclipse right in our own backyard. Folks have flown in from California and others have driven hundreds of miles. Will the clouds clear? Will my John Deere 1025r have to perform a rescue? Will Karen and I become two timers? Lots of nail biting suspense in this one folks.

Nicely done, Tom. We viewed it from our property with family. Fortunately the scattered cloud cover opened up and presented its magic in a timely fashion. Cheers

My family and I watched it from the start finish line at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Truly amazing to see in person. I wish I would’ve seen it the last time. I’m so glad my wife suggested we go to see it.

We were also on the path of this last one. About 40 min away from you. Really liked your different camera angles and views. It's true the pictures don't do it justice. You kind of have to experience the whole process.

Great video and thank you for sharing it. I was in FL during the eclipse and too far away to see anything and through you, I was able to experience at least some of the special moment. Thanks again and JD comes to the rescue again!

WoW, Tom! That was really well done! We live in MN plus it was cloudy that day, so we had no hope. But to experience that with friends and family, that is a special thing!! Thank you for doing this! Cheers!

Thanks so much, Tom, for sharing that wonderful experience with your viewers. Here in central NH we experienced a 97% eclipse, which was quite something, but it doesn't compare with the 100% total eclipse you and your family watched together. Thanks again!

What a great video. We only had about an 80% eclipse where we are so I really enjoyed this, thanks. Bonus…a 1025R rescue to boot🤣.

What a great video! Here in Connecticut it did not get dark at all. I really enjoyed this. Thank you!

I have to thank you... When I watched the video of your experience seeing the last eclipse, we decided to book a camp site in Celina OH for that weekend through the eclipse. Like you said it was well seeing. The weather cooperated and we were able to see the whole thing. Without your video we would not thought of going.

Wow, thanks for another wonderful video. I have to say I saw the partial eclipse with a few family members and it was nice, but not the full experience you have presented. I enjoyed the entire video, especially your closing where you expressed how this event got you all together and now you have a new bond. Well done sir.

Cool eclipse shots. In NE Indiana it just kind of an eerie gray out. I always enjoy seeing Willow.

We were in the path here in Vermont. It was great to see. I witnessed the solar eclipse in 2017. This one this yr was so much better

To tell you the truth i thought 17 was prettier. This one had the flares at the bottom that kinda tainted the color.
Last one was such whiter white. But i wouldn't diminish the experience of seeing either one.
I cant wait till the next one.
More of my family will see what they missed.

    Im in the twofer club.
And extend an invitation to my place for the next one in 21 years. as we will be in totality then . Going for the trifecta
Yes, sharing with people is best.
My brother filmed this last one .
People wanted to know the difference between partial and total.
I said the difference is the emotion in his voice on the video.
You dont get emotional at a partial.
Im so glad you got to double up.
We made a run to mo and were able to see with clear skies.
I had wondered if your veiwing was successful.
    Thankful it was.
    Blue
