I think the powder is super forgiving where he’s skiing. I live in the east and most of the resorts have to rely on making their own snow so landings on jumps hurt your ankles like hell sometimes
this was fresh powder, and fresh powder is ridiculously soft as i can say from personal expirience, looks a lot worse than it is also the landing was downhill which helps a ton
It's crazy, cause that first one is mainly difficult cause of that very steep slope you're forced to land sideways on, but it definitely nowhere near as crazy as all the other shit...
hah the "casual holy shit" and the "woo hoo" of escaping certain extreme sports death. then the "holy fuck" of the realization like wait i almost just died. then the joy of knowing its on the go pro.
Of course, he's of the generation where it must be filmed and shared. That's most important, why do it otherwise? It's all about making yourself known and popular via the web.
no he isn't sliding at the beginning he's intentionally moving in position for the first and only prepared jump and then slides down and falls from a surprising cliff which he manages pretty good given he was sliding away a second ago. Then when he's relieved and thinks it's over he jumps over another much bigger jump than expected. You can't see how high these "cliffs" are from above. He could've taken an easy route around it if he'd known.
Nice 😊 ‼️ I really miss those lines and the airtime-feeling. After a few accidents/incidents as a sponsored Snowboarder & working as a 🏂-Teacher I really appreciate to watch clips like this. Bringing up good memories 👍🏼‼️. With kindest regards and friendly greetings 🤙🏼 PS: def. the good side of UA-cam ;]
Good presence of mind there during the 2nd jump. I was thinking after the first jumble, "Commit! Commit!", but you already had it in you. I don't think I'd be able to do something like that. Respect!
Damn bro ! I saw the 1st jump and was thinking ahhh that ain't that bad. Then the 2nd one and my jaw dropped and I was thinking oh no I'm about to witness this mans death. Balls of steel line man !! Love it !!
This is going to go viral and I just want to say I think I found the one, she’s perfect. I’ll come back in a year when this I has blown up and I’ll update y’all.
Why do people always say "oh remind me when this goes viral" when literally it's already gone viral that why we are here right now. It's never made sense to me. Like maybe if you made that comment 8 years ago then it would deserve the likes but idk
Out of nowhere shit is blowing up my inbox. Nice to look back at when I was young, dumb, and made of rubber. I’d still hit that shit though 8 yrs later. Consider yourself pinned. Lol
I was going to make a joke about how things don't look steep on camera but this did, but holy shit this was a roller coaster of a video. Fucking awesome job!
Hey that's Whistler Blackcomb! I ran a less insane line off next to yours from that little peak after eating lunch perched on those cliffs and taking a break atop it. Sick view after a short hike, you hit the most ridiculous drops it had to offer!
Love how he casually sends the 3rd drop like nothing happened before
lmao at that point he has no choice
An then third drop was the biggest too I feel like by the first two his adrenaline fuckin spiked through the ceiling so he sent it
Can’t live in fear lol
Full Blast x2 nah. This is Whistler and the 3rd drop is called third step. I’ve been there and it is waaay smaller that Jordan
@@ToddHoward3 ok Todd, so when's that space game you announced 2 years ago coming out?

@@FractaLL2103 i think the adrenaline changes your perceprion of time

the zoomed out fisheye, and the lack of sound
Its also hard to tell distance and how steep it really is, for example skiing in TV looks not that hard
This is a gnarly recovery how is this not famous
Because there are no Air Jordan skills, and there were no hospital bills. I do have cat skills though. Lol
@@mckeem1080 definitely air jordan skills, how tf did u recover from that dude😂

@Henkka yea but landings can still hurt
They were but only for a fraction of a nanosecond in our time. But all the joints, they went to a world of pain and loss we don’t want to know.
this was fresh powder, and fresh powder is ridiculously soft as i can say from personal expirience, looks a lot worse than it is

I love that victorious "Whoooooooo!" Like "Yay I'm still alive! I love it" 😂
yea that was definitely a wooo of relief!
My favorite part is the title. That’s what brought me here!
How do you even get up there and do it
Love how he just takes the last jump without thinking about what just happened.
it's third step of air Jordan, if you land the first section your required to hit the third
you sir are correct. it is mandatory.

hah the "casual holy shit" and the "woo hoo" of escaping certain extreme sports death. then the "holy fuck" of the realization like wait i almost just died. then the joy of knowing its on the go pro.
Tbh while that drop was huge I don't think he'd get too fucked up if he slid off without recovery as long as his skis clip off properly
Of course, he's of the generation where it must be filmed and shared. That's most important, why do it otherwise? It's all about making yourself known and popular via the web.

Getting close
my 2020 action cam can't record this good, what cam did you use 8 years ago?
Probably just a GoPro or possibly one of the Sony cameras idk. Seeing how far it's sticking out away from the helmet makes me think gopro
Yeah almost definitely a GoPro my hero 4 session from 2015 still shoots 1080p at 60fps and it's the cheap version
