One of the best performance of Iron Maiden is Rock in Rio 2001, The reunion tour from the "Brave New World" album when Bruce and Adrian came back to the band...!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@joeblough7787 ?
The aircraft on stage is supposed to be a Supermarine Spitfire, the most well known British (propeller driven) fighter from World War II. "Aces High" honors the airmen who defended Britain from German attacks from the air during the "Battle of Britain."
The speech at the beginning was from UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill in 1940 after the evacuation of Dunkirk and before the Battle of Britain. It is one of the most famous speeches from that time period.
As a pilot himself, Bruce Dickinson is rightfully proud of British airmen during WW II protecting their homeland.
"Up the Irons!"
Iron Maiden 1985 Live After Death.... these best times !! ON THE TOP...and Up the Irons!!
The plane “flying” over the stage is a Spitfire from world war 2, and it makes me smile so much because back in 2013 I saw them at Download Festival and they had an actual Spitfire fly over the crowd before they came out, and after that show I said “I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a model Spitfire flying around the arena while playing Aces High in the future”. Fast forward to 2018 and… they have a model Spitfire flying over the stage while playing Aces High (close enough to what I said). They’re my favourite band, and I guess I just know them well enough to guess what ideas they will come up with for their stage shows.
The best live Maiden song - Rime of the Ancient Mariner (live at Long Beach 85”)
The first time they played the masterpiece, and it is Epic.
I'd rather the flight 666 version of it, but for sure that's top 3 song, masterpiece
@@siecola0527
The song sounds a lot better in 85, also Bruce’s voice is a lot better.
Even the lighting and effects in 85’’ long beach is better
Bands in their prime are always the best way to hear them, not when they older with squeaky voices, how people can’t hear it idk
@@SirSSau that's an opinion, ofc the old ones aren't bad, they are awesome too, but as Bruce said it already, his voice from 2000 - 2016 was his peak, + the spectacular the band make just improved
@@siecola0527
2000-2016 was he’s peak, so now it’s really farked ay?
Yeah! I ain’t gonna argue what you should like, like AC⚡️DC at River plate, always getting requests because of the crowd, but AC⚡️DC of the 70s was on a whole different level.
Pick any song from River Plate, than watch - Riff Raff.
Anyway enough off this, enjoy what you like 👍🏻 it’s all good.
@@SirSSau It's all good brother, I went to his show in São Paulo, Brazil. He's getting older, big difference in his voice comparing to some years ago, but he's still rocking.
3:32 - Thanks, haha! The South American crowd at heavy metal shows is unparalleled. I'm from Brazil, I've been to 3 shows by Iron Maiden, 5 by Metallica and countless others and the artists always leave the stage in awe of the energy we pass on!
It would be a actual dream to see Maiden there. Seen them in Vancouver like 10 times
"Crazy fans. They are absolutely insane down there, in a nice way. I would say, that part of the world probably holds the most fanatical Maiden fans there are." (Steve Harris' comment on South America, "The early days" documentary, "Rock in Rio" DVD)
"You know what? Everytime we go to the border, the hotter it fucking gets." (Bruce Dickinson's address to the cheering crowd, Live in Monterrey, 2008)
😊
Good to hear that. Keep the vibe up for them. 😊 They deserve it. 👍
Greetings from Germany. 🤘
2 minutes to midnight, Run to the hills, Hallowed be thy name, Wasted years, Infinite dreams
The Clansman at Rock in Rio. That is Energy on a high Level.
Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Live After Death. One of Maidens greatest song, based on the poem, of the same name, penned by Samuel Taylor Coleridge off of one of the greatest live albums (Live After Death) recorded at Long Beach (California) Arena around 1985/86
Bruce Dickinson is a qualified airline pilot and has flown the Iron Maiden plane on rescue missions. In 2006 he flew to Lebanon to rescue 200 UK citizens, and in 2008 he returned stranded British pilots to England from Afghanistan, and evacuated 180 tourists from Egypt
I think your best bet for Maiden in their prime is "The Trooper" from Long Beach, California in 1985. They recorded their Long Beach performances for a live album called Live After Death and personally I think it's the best live album by any band ever. Anyway, here is a link to it: ua-cam.com/video/bPY_x84TncU/v-deo.html
"Scream from the Long Beach! Scream from the Long Beach with Iron Maiden!"
I love that vinyl 🤘🏻🤩
Watch "Dance of death" - Iron Maiden, live in Santiago Chile. That was a great concert and I think that you'll love it
Hey Bisscute. Thanks for another great reaction👍🏻 I've been an Iron Maiden fan since I listened to their debut album on cassette in 1980... yes I'm a dinosaur🤣 I've been a fan ever since and I've seen them on every tour, usually in London as I was born just up the road from where these guys started it all. They never disappoint. Good luck with your guitar practice. Trust me, it's a worthwhile pursuit. Up the Irons!!
Hallowed Be Thy Name offical video it's in 1982and live. Its was filmed 2 months before the album was released.
This singer came on their album Number of the Beast (Bruce Dickenson). Their first singer was Paul D'ianno, who did 3 major albums: Iron Maiden, Killers, and Maiden Japan.
I saw them on this tour in Massachusetts and the set list was easily one of if not THE best set list I've ever seen: Aces High, Where Eagles Dare, The Evil That Men Do, Revelations, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Fear Of The Dark, 2 Minutes To Midnight, The Wicker Man, and many more. And every song the stage changed with different props and backgrounds and appearances from Eddie! It's in my top 3 favorite concerts I've ever been to along with every other Iron Maiden show I ever went to. So to sum up the 3 best shows I've ever been to in my life were 1.) Iron Maiden 2.) Iron Maiden and 3.) Iron Maiden! Because IRON MAIDEN! Up the Irons!
Yeah, Brazil rocks , honey!!! The show in Long Beach when they were young...
👋 they opened with this song on a tour, love the 2 guitar solos, maybe just check more of the mid 90's for a younger maiden 👍 again love your reaction biss ty
Prime Minister Wilson Churchill's opening speech is chilling to this day! The same when he plays The Ecstasy of Gold with Metallica! By the way, Bruce Dickinson was very sick that day, his voice was not really 100% and this year we will have another Maiden concert at Rock in Rio here, I can't wait!
Best vocals live are from the early years. Select songs from: live at Hammersmith 1982. Whole band is great. (There are other great shows, but this is a good one for cleaner vocals). Hit/best songs include: Number of the Beast, Wrathchild, Hallowed Be Thy Names, Run To the Hills, 22 Acacia Avenue, & Running Free,. + more. I recommend Hallowed Be Thy Name, Number of the Beast, & Run To the Hills first, but that's just my preference.
See Bruce with long hair like me in the 80 and just today !
Si las personas jóvenes oyen estos artistas el rock nunca morirá. Estamos salvados
Very cool WW2 spitfire airplane.
Must be a light weight replica
It had to be complicated to setup the airplane so it could be move around safely above them.
7 Days until i see them live
Dream of Mirrors live from Rock in Rio 2001. 🤘
I like everything from the Flight 666 DVD. Pretty high quality footage and sound. Powerslave was my first album from them and it blew me away! Every song was so damn good!
The guy you hear in the beginning is Sir Winston Churchill (PM of the UK in WWII), Iron Maiden incorporated this speech in Aces High, very cool! The plane you see is a UK WWII Spitfire jet at that time one of the most agile war planes. Been a fan of Maiden since 1980 and saw them several times in concert, awesome performance every time, especially when Eddy, their mascot, comes out!!
It's always a plesure to see yours vidéos . Excuse my enghish , i'm french . Kiss from France
Favourite Maiden Song
I love this songs music video. It tells a good story.
Check out some of their live concerts from Rock in Rio. "Fear of the Dark" for example. Or "Sign of the Cross".
They put on an amazing show. Saw them in London, 2018. Great night
live after death was their first huge arena tour shows
Oh?❤️
We saw them on their last tour and they had a replica Spitfire on stage that emerged from the smoke for this song ducking and diving as the band played ;)
Iron Maiden has 3 guitarists, Daver Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers. Steve Harris is their bassist,
Eu fui nesse show slc muito brabo 🔥🔥🖤🇧🇷
Iron Maiden's The Number of The Beast is a good one from when they were younger
Iron Maiden live Rock in Rio 2001, completely insaaaaaane!!!
Aweseome band! 🤘🤘🔥🔥. I don't know if I can be much help with finding a band playing live but I wish you luck.
Bisscute, I recommend watching Turn the Page from Metallica. It's a cover of Bob Seger. Give the original a listen to first, then jump to Metallica's version to hear the difference a little metal makes.
Looking lovely today Bisscute! Like the hair color. Iron Maiden live is awesome.. their sets are usually amazing with all sorts of props. If I can recall correctly (reading the inserts to their albumns) they used to have a caravan of anywhere between 6-10 semi-trucks going from gig to gig just to haul it all. Nowadays, they travel lighter, of course. Also, love to see their stuff from Rock in Rio (as someone mentioned, 2001 is great). I've seen them a handful of times live (whenever they zoom through my area) ...In this video, Bruce's vocals sound a bit off to me. Keep up the great reactions!
For the first time ever I can say this in a reaction video: I was there and it was awesome! Hahaha
You are so funny...hello from Croatia ❤️
Killer performance here. I've been a Maiden fan since 1990 when I first heard Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. So many years later, they are better than ever. If you're ever going to see a band perform live, this is the one to see.
number of the beast... no doubt
Ah! Forgot the "Homework" part. Iron Maiden - Running Free in Birmingham 1988!
Great story telling
The best live performance when they were young is hallowed be thy name in Hammersmith
Rime of the ancient mariner, from Live after death album. Year:1985
I was there, thank god!
'Run to the Hills, live...1982.......
A couple of the greatest performances are from Rock in Rio in 2001 and from the Flight 666 DVDs. They absolutely killed it on those.
I'd almost say they are better then their early years
Check out 'The Clansman' from Rock in Rio 2001
Bisscute :) I love your reactions! Iron Maiden Live after Death - that video and performance is just the best ever!! BTW Wasted Years is a track you will love!
Aces High MUST always be heard preceded by Churchill's "We Shall Fight" speech excerpt.
So much so that I scoured the internet for an audio copy of that very clip, and tacked it onto my Powerslave album to intro the first track that kicks things off.
The entire 1982 beast over Hammersmith show in London is as prime as it gets. The whole show is on Spotify. Bruce is on point and the band 👌. The prisoner, 22 acacia Ave, number of the beast, the whole set is outstanding. Pure energy and drive
Iron Maiden, Blood Brother, Live in Santiago
BissCute That was a Awesome Premiere 😃👍
7:10 i have no doubt. the best is hallowed be thy name 1982. but you've already did that song.
i can recommend the trooper en dortmund 1983
You got to check something from Live After Death from 1985. This is when they were at their absolute prime. Possibly Powerslave or Revelations
Enjoy🤘
The Clansman at Rock in Rio is one of their greatest performances!
My way in to metal back in 1981.. I'm old I guess 🤔
Ahoy Bisscute ! Greetings from Derby, UK ! Today is July 1st. On 1st January you released your very first ever review/reaction video with JINJER's Pisces. So, I would like to congratulate you on achieving 58.2K subscribers in exactly 6 months. Amazing & Fantastic - Great Stuff!!! I would also like to Thank You personally for covering several English bands in recent weeks such as QUEEN, PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST & IRON MAIDEN! These groups I term the GREAT BRITISH GODS!!! It would be very nice if you were able to add just a few more to that list with DEEP PURPLE, WHITESNAKE, SAXON & DEF LEPPARD! I do also like a lot of American, German & Scandanavian stuff, too! Thank You, Bisscute - Take Care - Keep Rockin' ! Just to let you know that I subscribed on Day One!!!
You have an amazing accent!! It's beautiful.
For the "HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT", lol, I dunno if you are looking for the "best" performance of their peak back in the day, or ANY performance from the old days, or even if a studio version that shows their energy when they were "younger"...? Anyway, for live stuff, I recommend : Anything from the 1984/1985 era (Live After Death album /World Slavery Tour). I personally feel 1984 was the tippy-top of the 80s metal scene peak. A LOT of the BEST stuff came out around that time (1982-1988... -ish...)
Bruce was sick that night
The craziest fans of Iron Maiden are first of all the Greeks ... Bruce has also mentioned it ... Check out Aces High or whatever else you want, for example fear of the dark in 2018 in Greece and you will understand... no Have you ever seen anything like this before...
Queensryche "take hold of the flame or eyes of a stranger, now, skid row wasted rimes.you will see the greatness of vocal power ever!!keep telling your fans!!
Rime of The Ancient Mariner - Live After Death (Long Beach Arena '85) should be the next one 🤘
This is one of favorite songs
Hi Bisscute if you want watch original video when Bruce joined he band "NUMBER OF THE BEAST" it snows when they we're young....
We in Latinamerica are very passionate that's why latin american concerts are extra crazy
Love from Brazil 🇧🇷
Welcome in❤️
@@BisscuteReacts You are invited to come to Brazil. You will be very welcome here ❤️
@Bisscute Hallowed Be Thy Name from Hammersmith Odeon (in 1985 I think it was) is an all time favorite for most of the irons
Oh? i see ❤
@@BisscuteReacts I mean you asked for a song from their rising/prime period 🙂
The aeroplane is a spitfire. It is the plane that defeated the Germans in the Battle of Britain. Between the spitfire and the hurricane britain turned the tide of the war. This is what the song is about.
To be a fair, the singer was under the weather this day, but obviously the show had to go on. I saw this show a month earlier, and Bruce sounded phenomenal. I couldn't believe how good he sounded.
My favorite part is the second reaction without even knowing haha, trully showing the music quality and reaction engagement.
1 ) i believe that it is still a core memory for bands when they take the stage and see 250K people in front of them, no matter how long they exist
2 ) The shots from the audience show people that are younger than the age of the song. Meaning that metal reaches all ages , compared to other genres
3 ) After a while though , the same element used for a certain song during 20 years gets a bit dull... They have the money and the knowledge to do something different.
There is a live “infinite dreams” video available from I believe 1989.
Oh? ❤
Thanks Bisscute!! Iron Maiden got The Most Big and Loyal Legion of Fans Around The World ☺️ Up The Irons!! Please Check out The Warning from México.
It's a Spitfire... One of the heroes of WWII.
Anything off of " Live After Death" live album. Maiden at the time they took over the world. Greatest live performance of an amazing collection of live performances. You have done most of the songs they do in that show. Check out the closing song of the show. The song is actually called "iron maiden". You gotta see how they close a show, and this is the best
Up the Irons! By the way, I love your smile.
I love that 20 yr olds know the lyrics to a 40 yr old song.
Thats when you know its a great band.
I highly recommend you look at the song Iron Maiden from the Live after death album. Great performance and awesome stage.
I'm Brazil Here \m/_
@bisscute ❤❤❤you're truly beautiful 😍 🤩 inside and out....don't ever change gorgeous.....iron maiden are really a great metal band also mwrry Christmas and hope you have the best new year all year long 💋
Amazing Song!!
React to their song hallowed be thy name, the beast over hammersmith performance. Its from back when bruce first joined maiden. Incredible performance
Run to the hills
Just one subjection for you girl. Arch Enemy whith the title "Nemesis" (live at the Wacken 2016) Force to you.
Hello Bisscute, Many of their best live versions are after 2000. In their 80s prime thow you have to listen to these for sure

Wasted Years (Live Maiden England '88)
Children of the damned - Live Hammersmith 1982
The rime of the ancient mariner - (Live after Death'85)
Powerslave - (Live at Long Beach Arena)
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight (Live After Death)

I was in that crowd!
Hello beautiful creature, I am a big fan of IRON MAIDEN and drummer, I love your reactions because you capture all the emotions they transmit during their lives .... I would like to recommend you a great performance, perhaps one of the greatest ever .... watch RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER from live FLIGHT 666, I look forward to your reaction, greet you and send you a hug from Naples. By TONY PANZER😘❤🤘
React a song from the Maiden England concert. Heaven Can Wait or Killers, for example.
Make this one your next MAIDEN SONG.
Iron Maiden - Different World
2001 rio concert is great but when you want to compare their younger era i would suggest 84 worlf slavery tour or 88 maiden england concert dvd. You can check piwerslave or rime of the ancient mariner from 84 long beach arena concert. Also from maiden england the evil that man do/ children of the damned or the seventh son of a seventh son are great ones
