The Fiat G91 R3 Is the last jet in the attacker line for Germany, it exceeds at combat below 750kph. Is this thing worth your time if you're new to jets? probably so. It's extremely good as long as you don't get uptiered. But it can hang with most 9.0s. Definitely a good ground strike aircraft because of the hydra pods and the low speed capabilities as well.

@@furkankockesen8103 swift was born into this new breathing space for these jets, it had the luxury of not being food for mig 19s and later on, phantoms. Mig 15s and A5s were stuck in a limbo of bad BR and bad MM.

Nice video. Thing that pisses me off is all other G.91s are MASSIVELY inferior just because of the 50 cals and yet they are at the same BR. Yes R/4 is 9.0 but it still massively sucks because of the 4x 50 cal back scratchers.

Did a test flight with this G.91 yesterday and i liked it's maneuverability, acceleration and guns and thought maybe there is something else to balance it out, turns out no.

It's a slower, better turning mig. Just do loops in it and you'll win most encounters.

fuck man. i got this plane yesterday and immediately, the first 5 matches i got matched against harriers, SO 4050s and su7s. how the fuck am i supposed to counter them with a g.91 r/3 when i barely reach 1000kmph and they easily reach 1200 or even supersonic. not to mention the fucking SRAMM spam

Im a tanker and i absolutely adore this thing in ground rb. Those 4 nord missiles are devastating. The only downside of it is low ammo count. What is your sight distance set at?

No idea what plane to grind out the MIG-19s and MIG-21MF for germany. I cannot get the Mig-15 to work, guns suck, spark all the time, and its so sluggish in it's role rate it can't react well to anyone trying to dodge it's guns. The Me-262 is totally outclassed at 7.0, and the Ho-229 is just such a weird aircraft to fly and I cannot get guns on target. Is the G.91 worth grinding out first before I get the 19s and grind the 21 with the 19? Never had this trouble with Japan since I grinded out the T-2 with the Kikka, and then spaded the T-2 with ease.
Yes, the G91 is very good, I recommend. As long as you learn the 91 well you could easily slap a talisman on it aswell

mig 15 is a joy spaded. you can eesly zoom sway from anyone. noone can really turn with you. and if you keep turning, you wont get to stall speed. it has enough power to turn for days. and you mostly want to target low energy planes for the kills. i love that plane. give it a try woth a very agressive playstyle if you are close to spaded.

The thing I love about this aerocraft are the defas because they kill.
I love this plane even in today's meta; many people are in an f104 looking to sling missiles and being generally unaware of the risk it poses the same way new players underestimate a zero. Especially against the meta of less maneuverable missile carriers, this dedicated gun fighter really comes through. This was actually the first jet i spaded, first jet i got an ace in, and the first jet i got a positive k/d for!
My favorite thing about it is that I can blame my deaths on my own mistakes only, since it has the performance to engage anything in its BR when you are careful and aware

if you're still reading comments, do you have any suggestions as to how to aim these darn guns proper? specially in head-ons? or any tips as to how to improve my aiming?
I love the plane, but I miss so many shots that hurt my ammo count badly. Can't do 20-round bursts like you mostly do in this video ahah Most of the time I have to do use 50-80 rounds to get a jet down!
only 80? shit.. im lucky if I bring a jet down with all of the ammo while using G.91s. I can't figure how how to aim in them despite doing fine in most other jets
@@ninjalanternshark1508 i change my mind these guns are decent to aim compared to the Mig21MF's belly-mounted slow-velocity 23mm guns xD you need to lead so much or be really close due to how fast everything moves
I only got one really good shot at 600m / 0.60km and it took a whole 2 seconds for the rounds to connect to the target who was flying straight ahhaha
The guns are really good, you just need to get used to them. The Mig15's are much, much worse. Actual potato launchers.

Gonna get this so I can put it in my 8.7 Germany lineup. Looks and feels great to me from the test drive, and this is just more proof that I should use it. Would you recommend this over the Mig15Bis for Tank RB? I’m not much of a ground striker, but I would enjoy being able to do so, however I want something that would be able to kill fighters well.
Both are pretty good at being a fighter-bomber, so I guess pick whichever feels more comfortable to fly, unless you want to use rockets or AGMs

I always lose my head ons, you’re not the first I’ve seen where you just like 4-10 rounds then pull off and they just die. Where do you aim with this? Also I know some of it’s aim but I’ll get hits on them.... was just curious. Helpful video too
You're not the only one, UA-camrs just tend to show the times where people die because getting 12 hits 1 game without any kills isnt particulary exiting me included. Sadly you cant do much more than aim and hope for the best.
DEFYN thanks for the quick reply, I figured ya, but I’m definitely not an experienced pilot and I sucked with the ho 229 and so I am not the most maneuverable person. Best game I have had in the G91 was 3 kills and 2 assists but I haven’t done better than that lol.

Oh yes, finally. One of my favourite planes in the game
Its indeed not good against taking damage but its absolutely unnecessary to get hit. The only plane I've found has a chance against me is the j29. That plane is dangerous. But I'm absolutely comfortable fighting anything else it faces.
I do recommend using the boosters. It makes the defensive flying abilities much better. It's pretty easy to prevent ripping provided you dont roll more then 180degrees. In a sustained turn you can rip but generally you can prevent this by releasing keyboard and switching to mouse if you hit 12g
I know it's easy not to, but I have yet to die because of not running them and I have ripped twice in the R/1 because of them.
I rather turn a little worse and keep more speed since it's high speed accel is already pretty bad
@@DEFYN Understandable, i like running it because it makes it so that i can fight other g91's no problem as well. Also it seems to improve turn rate while blacked out by quite a bit.
the g91 is one of the planes i dont really mind losing speed in. Obviously you need to be very careful doing this and watch your surroundings but energytrapping some poor mig15 for example is pretty easy this way. and its low speed acceleration will get it right back to combat speed. In that case you wont really utilise the boosters as you get to slow but once you come out of the dive it can be pretty useful. What ive done is practiced a bit in test flight first to check pretty much every senario where i would rip and applied it to my games. by now it never happens to me anymore.

its a shame about the ballistics changes to many of the cannons and when they nerfed its loadouts, i really used to love this thing
It's still a blast to fly, tho I got it after the ballistics changes so it makes no difference to me. It rolls like a ballerina, turns semi well and the cannons will tear everything apart. In a perfect world this little plane has enough ammo to kill 8 planes with a single belt. And I am not talking pilot snipes, I am talking both wings and tail completely ripped off. If you get a rare downtier and see a tu4 or a b29 then they are as good as evaporated with 20 shots or less(tho shooting less is difficult on account of fire rate)
One thing I struggle with on it is dodging missiles. Even the worst missiles in the game hit me 80% of the time tho it might be my skill issue, I am fairly new to jets this being my 2nd one after the ho229. Of gaijin ever fixes br compression and this baby faces exclusively stuff it can handle then it will be one of the better planes of 9.7 along with sabres and lim5p.

Hey, great content as always.
Can anybody tell me how do you guys look back while still able to manoeuvre? I either hold "C" to look around, which doesn't allow you to control the vehicle, or spin the reticle back, using "WASD" keys for defensive flying. I see however that you can make small course corrections while still looking back using a different technique.

I start with using free look mostly, I can track the guy with that. Then I start flying with my keyboard and I can let go off the freelook key but I have to keep my mouse pointed at him

Im a controller user for ps4, Its easy to kill jets since im experienced both in f86f2 and mig15bis. The only problem you are going to face is the amount of time you need to spend to get use to it.

on take off aim the plane just out of the way of the enemy teams climbing path and climb at 5* until you hit 500mph then pitch to 30* until 320mph then return to 5* and you should be in a good position to start looking for a target to engage.
As always it is a jet, don't turn fight, but in a pinch the G.91 can (with a bit of skill and planing)
Fire in bursts of 3-4 fast clicks, never spray
Min fuel
Always look for teammates that need help/ are baiting/ slowing an enemy down in turn fights
When you get something on your 6 and you have more energy extend in a "exponential?" Climb until about 320mph and then throw that bitch into a hammerhead and make the enemy stall out (ez kill, J29's and Mig-15's are my favorite to kill like this, but be careful they have hella TWR's and they are tricky to kill like this, but when they do stall out their low center of thrust puts them into a derp loop and they are helpless when you come straight back down on top of them)
When using this plane like this I get pretty constant 3-5 kill matches and make Javelin, J29, Mig-15, and Mig-17/ F-5 pilots my bitch.

@@groerkurtfurst9 R/1, R/3 and R/4 have the same FM, well, maybe it feels a bit heavier when carrying the 4 missiles and that's why you get outmanoeuvred... anyway, I really prefer the R3 over the others because of the guns, DEFAs get the job done, while 4 M3s doesn't feel enough for that BR...

Those missiles are impossible (at least for me, maybe other players can do it) to dodge, they have low range but if you are within it you are dead
It's better to stay away from it, G91 outmanoeuvres Harrier/AV-8, if you see one trying to get a lock on you, turn before that happens, at least that's what I do

Use your C key religiously, and remember that you bleed energy like crazy, so use that when someone tries to engage you. Just like in the intro, do a little vertical, bleed speed and roll behind anyone you want. It's a very enjoyable jet
