Everyone reacts differently to each hot sauce. This is great information and reaction and expectation has been set. Seems to be some 5-year-olds here that feel like they need to trash talk and really I think be nice. How hard is it to grow up and just say thank you? What you are doing is good. Thank you.
@plonker88 correct, the idea is to add pure heat and no flavor so when mixed with lots of food you get the heat but njo flavor change, its ideal for a big pot of chili...

@rockcabbage why? because I was good at a hobby? because I decided as an adult (I was 18) that I wished to smoke somethgin natural that I ghrew myself instead of smoking chemicals the government wants to tax me on? I dont do it now, but Im proud I was good at what I set out to do at the time
@charlesburton95 I use the term loosely, in my context at least I know whats going into my boddy, to get it from a secondary source or in most cases passed down through multiple people who knows what your smoking...grow it and know for sure or take a chance everytime

The extracts are a condensed pure source. So instead of like eating 1 ghost pepper imagine you just ate 20 at once. Without any fillers or added sugars or anything.
Sorry if im repeating someone but to open the bottle cant u just push the two hinges outwards instead of using your nail on the little bar? Just saying thats how i use it

Jeff, the scoville scale is based on how much it's diluted. So something that is 10 scoville unites is like 5^2 heat, I can't explain it cus I don't remember completely but u should look it up again
@TheRedline161 pure capsaicin is 15-16m scovilles i believe. so having too much at 7m would probably make you throw up or something. i know you were just saying this as a joke and all but i just thought about stating a fact or two ontop of your comment no intention to make a "comeback" or a "payout"
@TheRedline161 Well the thing is that once your mouth is totally sturated with anything hot the heat levels off. So eventually DIS would reach a limit where it can't get hotter because all your nerves are already lit up.
@cutlerylover Gotta remember that most people don't realize that it really is next to harmless. And on the natural argument, you COULD say that opium is natural, but it IS extremely harmful. That's why I never used the natural argument when I used to.
@TheTater1984 peppers do taste awesome, but having the ability to heat up any dish with just a few drops accomplishes a lot. I often buy the cheapest lasange, which tastes like crap, but adding a few drops of 15 minute burn or something and bam i can eat it, even if it is just coz of the burn.
From what you have been saying, it seems that there is a limit to your ability to feel any more heat. I guess trying the Source will tell you if that really is your limit. I guess that is a good thing though.

@wormer104 Yea that is correct but ... its not about when its in the mouth its more when the content is in your stomache , so a bottle of daves insanity in your stomache means there is so much of it being prossessed through your intestines etc , and the oil is so concentrated its just gunna make all sorts happen , but yea the mouth thing is totally correct
That all depends on the amount you take. Potentially, your lungs can shut down, if you swallow too much Satans Blood, (or any chili extract) but it's more likely that you'll involontarily puke before that happens.
How do you think some cheap pepper spray to the mouth would stack up? If the source is that pricey... self defence pepper spray, the cheapo kind, do you think it would be more bearable if you took a spray to the tongue? I mean, if we already gotta put up warnings for the kiddies... let's do it up guy. Ill do it if you do it....
