    That is inhuman stuff, isn't it? We just had it on Thursday night and did a vid. It hit me so hard ... took away my ability to speak for a few minutes. :-)

    @Musicalshootings like any extract its a concentrated version, imagine if you took 100 hot peppers and cooked them and cooked them, say you started out with a gallon of pepper sludge you end up with a tablespoon of extract...

    Jeff... so funny. "This is the hand I got the stuff on" waves his fingers to the camera then IMMEDIATELY rubs his eye with that hand. LOL!!!

    The pain in your ear is sympathetic pain. Their is a nerve from your ear that runs along the back of your throat and some of the pain reception from your throat is transferred to that "ear nerve". I've had similar ear pain from strep throat. My doctor explained this to me.

    the thing that happened to you after the source is what happens to me if i have tobasco sauce so do you think it would be ok for me to drink a bottle of the source?

  • @mysss29
    @mysss29 13 років тому

    The extract was apparently denser than the glass rod+plastic...not sure if you knew that/anyone else said it already. You're the only person (okay, GunWebSites...) that can get me to watch a hot sauce review, haha.

    I trust him I dont trust a stranger, yes hes a strangrer to me so thats weird, but it wasnt him to poored it into the sauce it was sent to him already in there, being that its $80 a bottle Im not sure if thats what was used

  • @TYLERTRANCE
    @TYLERTRANCE 9 років тому

    Would you say this is hotter than the dried Carolina Reaper? Even though it's higher up on the scale, it seems that you handled this extract a lot better.

  • @cutlerylover
    @cutlerylover  13 років тому +1

    @WrecklessEating I would just film it outside the ER...lol there is something called Resiniferatoxin which is like 1000 tiems hotter than opure capsasicum, but it wil kill you evcen in small doses...lol just thought Id share anyway...Im researchign it for a future video, right now its being tested on animals to stop the brain from feeling pain so dogs with cancer of the bones can still move around before they die...

    refrigerator, book shelf, where??

  • @DReynolds5294
    @DReynolds5294 13 років тому

    @b0glify Because I live in a woods, and am outside more than I am inside. Once I come in, I will be going back out within 10 minutes, so I am not taking my boots off just to take a couple minutes to put them back on a few minutes later. Also, the floor is usually somewhat wet from walking outside where there is water than walking inside. Plus, it keeps your feet from getting cold...

  • @Rubberbandballer
    @Rubberbandballer 12 років тому

    Jeff, something horrible happened. After watching your review of The Source, I was stupid enough to purchase it. Very spicy, indeed. All of my friends and I tried a drop and our mouths were incapacitated for a good while...but that wasn't the worst part. I got some on my hands...and didn't realize it until after I went to the bathroom...I got it on my man parts. Truly one of the most horrific burning sensations of all time. Must be how sailors stationed in Thailand feel.

  • @Twisted4000
    @Twisted4000 13 років тому

    @NariStudios True, but extracts are always hotter than pretty much any pepper. It's basically like 5 ghost peppers crammed into one drop. Pure capsicum is even worse, like Blaire's 16 Million Reserve.

  • @shred5

    Not all extracts are created equal. Some of them taste extremely chemically, and some don't.

  • @poomasterfu
    @poomasterfu 13 років тому

    You wouldn't feel pure capsaicin, it's literally too hot. Your mouth would just go numb, no pain or anything. It's used by some doctors and hospitals. I'm not sure everything I said is true, I saw it in a VSauce video about peppers. Check it out.

  • @Augustus222
    @Augustus222 12 років тому

    Well it was mixed with Dave's Insanity Sauce (180.000 scoville) so you couldnt really tell how much "the Source" was in there.

  • @cutlerylover

    @BRATKOV47KALASHNIKOV fresh chilis are the same heat as dried ones, what your friend gave you might have been hot but it wasnt a bhut jolkia or similar buy one eat it on camera and attach it to this video to prove to everyone reading its no big deal otherwise its just an assumption of yours

  • @necrogenesis1981
    @necrogenesis1981 12 років тому

    It's an additive, you're not supposed to eat it straight. Jeff just wanted to show us what it'll do if you eat it by itself. Many hot sauces on the market use extracts like this one, and they're diluted by the other ingredients.
