"don't be anxious", like that is supposed to magically cure whatever is going on (in your head). I love it. My beloved wife has tried to use that verse to "help" me whenever I'm stressed or anxious and I just don't see how that'll magically cure all the problems or fix the situation. I do appreciate that you moved onto the verse after that about bringing all things before God regardless of how big or small, and sure, I can pray to God and ask for help with all the things that are making me anxious, but that won't magically make the anxiety go away. At most it helps a little because I've at least asked for help, asked for help from somebody is very capable, should they choose to do so, of solving the issues. But one of my other biggest source of anxiety is whether or not God will actually choose to intervene. We've all had "unanswered prayers", there's even a song about it, thanking God for not answering prayers. So I'm supposed to pray about some problem or issue and then not worry about it anymore? Consider the problem solved?

I needed this today, thank you pastor Cameron! My mind gets spinning on the little things without even realizing I’m not stopping to bring them to God in prayer. Waking up this morning feeling some anxiety, your message helped me sift through these “small” responsibilities that have been weighing on me. He’s got the answers and I feel the burden lifted! I need more revelation from the Holy Spirit then just reading and trying to understand the Bible. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and with out Him we are not really understanding the Lord 😢🙏

Removing obstructions: The Holy Spirit can remove mental barriers that prevent people from seeing what's before them, allowing them to have a divine revelation.
Understanding God: The Holy Spirit can help people understand God and His grace, and confirm the truth of Scripture.
