@@IceMachine411 I got water hooked up to it today, I'm getting code "E" which is "failed self test" guess I need to look into those control board rebuild kits that has the relays and the couple of small caps.
@@IceMachine411 Got it running, it was the control board. Had to make some adjustments to the ice thickness sensor so the ice would drop as a sheet, when it was to thin, pieces would get trapped in the door and it would think the bin was full. Is the cleaner brand specific or will any of the generic "nickel safe" ice machine cleaners work?
Gotta love these videos. They will create alot of work for reef guys because restaurant worker are gonna see you do this and think it is easy
Definitely not easy.
@IceMachine411 No sir, it is not.
Thanks
You’re welcome.
Good cleaning ice machine video
👍
Hi! Can you make a video for the temperature sensor replacement?
I will if I get a chance. It’s pretty easy to do. Accessing the probe will probably be the hardest part.
Just bought a non functioning one of these as a project/gamble. Previous owner said it needed a control board but I haven't diagnosed it yet.
Sounds like a fun project. These machines are pretty simple to work on.
