I’m glad that you’ve found and have a friend that you can do those things with! I recently moved to Colorado and don’t know anyone and haven’t met any other moms that have children with special needs that likes to read. Hopefully one day it’ll happen. I agree with something that you’ve said. I think that you said that you like to read books that you like to read and not books that other people want you to read. I feel the same way and that’s how I go about choosing the books that I want to buy and read. If I see a book that a booktuber recommends and I like it then I’ll buy it.

Also, I totally agree that you should read what you want. I also feel like it doesn't have to be a new book either. Make sure you know some of what it might be about too if you can because you want to protect your soul and watch what you are taking in as well.
