After viewing the original video, we put up the wiring for the climbing roses and this has worked so well. Our James Galway looks great as well. Thank you for the UA-cam for training climbing roses.
Harlequin! That's the word I was looking for!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you...I feel such a sense of relief to be able to stop calling it 'diamonds' 😁 You have made my day 🥳
Oh Annette that is going to be stunning, I can picture it on that white side of the house, such a contrast I can't wait until it starts to grow and you can train it. Kudos to Richard for putting it altogether, no easy task.
Oh! that's going to look so beautiful. 👏 to both of you, that was no easy task. Richard is a bit of a star in my book, especially going up the ladder and drilling by the window. Look forward to seeing how the trellis develops 🧑🌾
Can’t wait to see this fill in, it’s certainly inspired me to want to try this against the side wall of my house…I just need a Richard in my life to make it happen 😂
I can't wait to see what the jasmine has done by the end of the year. I am hoping to visit your country and go on a garden tour. Your garden is so inspirational. Again as always thank you for your lovely video. Your fan in Washington State USA.
Thanks so much Sally. I really hope the weather improves before you arrive 🤣 but there are so many magical, stunning gardens in UK - you will love it! 😁
Thanks Elizabeth - I'm looking forward to watching it fill in over the years (and to the times I will have to beg Richard to go up the ladder and tie it in for me🤣)
I followed your rose wire trellis video , never used a turnbuckle before , I now have 30cm spaced wires all the way around my whole garden . So thank you for that , my DA roses and clematis appreciate it ❤ And I did it all on my own . Ps let the drill do the work, no need to push on it . 😉
Oh that's so wonderful to hear! I can't believe that I've got to my grand old age without ever using a drill - it seems a bit ridiculous but I've just never needed to do it! 😁
Thanks Jayne. Yes, this is a dahlia combination that I've used a few times and it works really well if you need an area that doesn't require too much deadheading because Bright Eyes will flower it's socks off all summer!
Thanks Monique. I'm not expecting too much growth because the ones we planted on the massive arch in the back garden have been slow growers so far but it's supposed to grow between 1 ft and 3ft a year. 😁

Thats's wonderful Janice! I'm so happy for you 😊
LOVE THE HARLEQUIN WALL looking forward to seeing it in full bloom

Thanks so much Jane. It felt like a feat of engineering so I'm quite impressed that we got it done in a day to be honest! 😁

Thank you Penelope 😊. He IS a star but I do have to manage his garden work schedule 🤣
It will look stunning, Annette! I marvel at how good and helpful Richard is!
Thanks Elie. I can't wait to watch it grow. Fortunately I married a man who knows that a happy wife is a happy life 🤣
Can’t wait to see this fill in, it’s certainly inspired me to want to try this against the side wall of my house…I just need a Richard in my life to make it happen 😂
Thanks - and you can borrow Richard but please remember that all his grumbling is cut out of the video in editing 🤣
Oh my word.........this will be AMAZING Annette 🎉🎉🎉......absolutely LOVE it.........can't wait until it takes shape........you make a great team 😅❤❤❤
Thanks so much Isobel! 😁 That wall was just drying out for something special and I feel like I've waited years to get around to this project! 😊
@@cottoverdi your dream project has come true 👍 👏👏👏🎉🌟🌟🌟
Great job guys! Lots of planning for an absolutely stunning trellis!

Perfect perfect perfect, here in the USA, this is very common 😊
Oh wow, thanks Tina. I had no idea - maybe they've all been stealing ideas from Waddesdon Manor too! 🤣
It is going to be so stunning!!! Can't wait for an update. The dahlias are going to really pop in front of the white wall.
Thank you so much. This project has been in my dreams for YEARS! so it's very satisfying to know we've finally set it up 😊
Love all your gardening ideas! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊

Dahlia buds already! Here in Ohio I won't see my first buds until at least July. happy for you. Your wall is going to be beautiful, I'm sure.
Thanks Carol. Yes, I think the rain has forced the dahlias to flower before they drown 🤣

Thanks Jill! 😊
What a great project! It is going to look gorgeous. How far do you expect the jasmine grow this season?

This will be one popular video, I’ve always wanted one . ❤ so pleased you went higher to window 🪟.
Oh yes, me too, although...Richard did need a little persuading but I felt very strongly that it was necessary 😁
