Pilates Original Exercises with a Stick

  • In this class we will explore how to incorporate a stick into the original 34 exercises from "Return to Life through Contrology". I'm using a regular broomstick; it is probably the cheapest prop you can buy, but it can add so much variety and challenge to Joseph Pilates' classical work. This work can be challenging, especially for beginners, so please be mindful, listen to your body, and modify any exercise that doesn't serve you well. it is always possible to do any of the exercises without the stick if that works better for you

      Oh no. I work out and used to be terrible about stretching properly. So I got into yoga and pilates to improve my balance and help the muscles I neglect in my normal workouts.
