I am slowly building to Jaar, and had fully intended on focussing on his work on the album Nymphs, which is in my personal opinion the very best of his work! It requires a certain sensibility and mindset to get it right so i'm taking my time with it, mate! It IS in the pipeline, though. Trust!

I appreciate the binge watching, pal!!! On Odesza, to be fair there is a lot of stuff on UA-cam about how to do their kind of music. It's going to take me a while to get around to them because of a massive backlog of requests. Although I do have a tutorial on melodic breakbeat coming up to float your boat as there is a lot of melodic breakbeat on That album
I took his Masterclass Course, worth it, imo. One music production lesson I learned that I was very impressed was that he uses Ableton’s Operator white noise for all drum section. Stating that you can essentially create anything for those percussive/drum elements including sweeps.
This looks just what I need. Whilst PML packs are great they still leave you with very complex Ableton project files to break down. I think the vocals really nail it, sorry I mean screw it 🙃
I learned something from you that’s been evading me for years, how to make that BOC pad by making a really tight loop of a sample. I could never work out how to get that sound from a synth so thanks for that. Loving your tutes keep going enjoying watching your channel blow up 😎
