As Hurricane Nicholas batters the eastern Texas Coastline in the overnight hours on Monday night; heavy downpours created havoc on the roadways. This semi ended up crashing on the wet roadways. I-10 WB was closed for several hours while emergency crews and wreckers cleared the roadway. Traffic was having to drive in almost blinding rain as well.
