Next Disney will have a Fast Pass for the Fast Pass Kiosk.
Hahahahahaahah
a million thank you's for this informative video x
Thank god for this video!
So helpful, nice to now how fast pass+ works
Being someone who hasn't been to WDW in years, and never experienced the Fastpass system, Fastpass+ is looking pretty sweet to me as I prepare to head there this fall. And, as it'll certainly evolve with more user input, it'll only get better.
I love this system. Some people don't understand that this is still in a testing phase. It will only evolve, get better, and be more efficient for each of the guest that go into the parks. Things will change, just give it a chance.
Was going to do this today. Will go on Thursday.
I know everyone is saying that the new system is bad however on my last trip I used magic bands and fastpass+ and I loved it. Usually I dont even use fastpass but on this trip I did and it was great. I didnt wait in any lines because I did them on my phone. Plus they are still fixing any minor problems that still remain so I think the new system looks good.
Hi! Will you have a new video about the updates in the FastPass+ system? My family's going this April or May and I want to be prepared for this new change from the old paper FastPass system.
do we need more than one fast pass because my whole family is coming
yes, definitely get the fastpass first then cruise the rest of the day.
I've already seen people abusing the fast pass entrances by being denied at first and then claiming they had them, the cast member then just lets them in and/or they have a screenshot of old times even though they've changed the times. Plus I see Disney charging for more then 3 fastpasses in the future, Fastpass ++
I reserve initially 3 Fastpasses and after using those 3 can I purchase Maxpass on Disney app to save running time towards kiosks?
So this is included when you buy the tickets at the park? I was going to get a two day and was wondering if it is already included, like you go to the kiosk and its free.
Hi Im new to this! Im going in March around my bday! I haven't been since early 90s! I was only around 7! so Disney has changed quite a lot! :O so u can buy? them there? am I right
i have the fast pass system down. what about your magic band and the disney dining plan how does that work?
You know if flashpass plus will start to work in other Disney park resort ??.
Do you still get time frames when u use the app to make a fast pass
Do you keep the Magic bands? Like if you stayed at a hotel and then came back a month later would it still work or would you have to get a new one?
If I have a day ticket and am not staying at a Disney Resort how do I get a fast pass card?
Can you do it from your home PC??
Not happy with the whole only 3 pass thing. Very frustrating. Last time I visited Disney, the way I planned it I was able to use fast pass for at least 6/7 rides.
What happens if you lose your wristband?
Are the 3 fast passes for each person? Lets say you have 3 fast passes for specific rides would my friends be able to tag along with me to that ride or would they have to get fast passes for themselves?
What did you use to film first person pov?
They still have paper fast passes at the kiosk you can give 35 cents and it will give you a paper one
Less lines, More Magic!!
Ok, big question... can I buy myself 2 day passes and use them both the same day and have access to 6 fast passes?
We are annual pass holders and have been for years. We absolutely hate FP+!!! We go to the parks about every month or so and usually spend 2-5 days on property per trip. We would go even if it is a crowded time of the year, because with the old FP, you could park hop. FP+ has ruined our fun and carefree time. Lets talk about Epcot, under the new FP+ system, you can get one for test track, nemo and figment. You have never needed FP for nemo, figment, living with the land and so on. So, at Epcot you really only get one fast pass a day. Now at the kingdom, they have a lot more rides so you get a greater selection of rides.
The biggest problem is the just three fp's a day. They are usually spread out over six hours, we never spend six hours at a single park per day. We park hop to help avoid crowds and standing in line. We never stand in line for more than 15 mins or so. With the new FP+ park hopping is terrible because you have to stand in line with no hope of a fast pass.
We have decided not to renew our annual passes because we will not be going as frequently as we used to. This decision was made because of the new Fp+. On our multiple trips to Disney, we spent on average of 1000+ dollars each trip. I guess disney just doesn't care about the annual pass holders anymore.
Epic failure disney, epic!!!
Well I'm upset about the fact that you can't get more than one Fastpass for the 'premium' attractions at Epcot. This sucks!! Way to go, Disney. >.
they have said now that if you've used your 3 fastpasses, you can go to a kiosk and get another one
So I don't know if anyone has mentioned this so sorry if I'm repeating! But according to the Disney World website it looks like they might have changed some options since January. I believe after you've used your 3 fastpasses at 1 park, you are allowed to create a new fastpass at any park, for that day, assuming there is still availability. And once you've used that pass (or the time has passed) you may get another, like the old system in a way. Can anyone else that's been there confirm that? Hopefully that made sense haha.
Thanks!
How much does the Magic Band cost? The fast pass system was free now it costs money?! Can someone tell me what they know about this.
I don't like this new way. You're restricted to three fast passes a day? Before when it was paper you could get a new fast pass after 2-3 hours or after your fast past time. This is silly.
you get 3 fastpasses that you can reserve 30 days before your trip. Once you use those 3 you can get new ones on the normal hour/2 hour basis
Booked fast passes on our my Disney experience cards for each person in party (4) as we are not all riding the same rides CAN the kids use the adults tickets to ride the the attractions already booked on cards. For instance the kids go on Space Mountain even though it is booked under the parents names? Please advice me.
YES!!! We did it only two weeks ago!! There were four of us including the kids, and the kids went on "Space Mountain" twice, as we adults didn't want to go on it! (The staff [cast members] DID NOT bother checking the names on the swipe cards.) {Also -- once you have used your first Fast-Pass you can book another one -- In other words during the day you have always got three Fast Passes on the go... But obviously they run out of premium rides by the end of the day}
When I used a FastPass+ for Fantasmic, there was no special seating. We scanned in and then went in with the other people?!
From my understanding you can book 3 fast passes AHEAD of time and once you've used those three fast passes you can go to a kiosk and plan more at the park itself as long as it stays in the park you are at, correct?
Alright, thanks!
Yes you can also do it on your phone
i see you can now buy magic bands at the Disney store, and link it to your ticket. does this include just standard tickets, if i'm not staying at a Disney resort?
+Attractions Magazine thank you.
If you have a magic band from a previous disney trip can you use it for your next trip if you are not staying at at a resort this time?
Thank you
Okay, Thank you so much for your help!
Are they using this FastPass+ system on the water rides at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon aswell?
***** Aww that's a shame, Thank You! :)
Even if you have 3 fast passes, can you still ride rides without fast passes. For example i get three fast passes for all the mountains. Would i still be able to ride any other rides?
Yes, the fast pass just gets you into a different line that gets you on the ride faster, otherwise you can ride any ride but you just have to wait in the normal line.
Can I buy the magic band even if we aren't staying at a disney resort and Isent for food and parks?
TheVirgoSin Yes, you can buy magic bands if you aren't staying at a resort. However, you won't be able to attach a credit card to the band unless you stay at a Disney Resort. The bands still give you access to fast pass and park passes without staying at a resort.
how much is the fast pass plus if we dont stay at disney resorts?
+Katherine Valencia FastPass+ does not cost a thing. If you're not staying at a Disney resort, you won't automatically get a "MagicBand" (you can purchase them on the Disney site in advance or at the park for $13). However, everyone gets a Disney "ticket" that is an NFC-enabled plastic card. That card works on the readers at the kiosks and rides. Make sure to get the app and setup your "My Disney Experience" on the Disney site so you can select your 3 FastPass+ rides in advance and don't have to start your day waiting for a kiosk. BTW, I haven't been yet, just sharing what I've learned.
Can someone get me a star wars fast pass ticket? Just wanted one for a collection. Thanks
Isn't now that any ticket holder can use the app?
Yep. This system has been fully adopted for all guests. However, off-property guests have a shorter Fastpass window than Disney resort guests. On site guests can reserve up to 60 days in advance, whereas off-property guests are limited to 30.
Regardless of where you stay, the rest of the MyMagic+ system functions identically for all guests.
does each person have to use their card to get a fast pass ?
Zully Abarca Yes, each park guest gets their own card or magic band.
I thought once you used your 3 fast passes you could go to a pad or kiosk and add more fast passes on the same day
how many fast passes can you get and use during the day?
i think the whole system is overcomplicated. Why cant it be like universal studios orlando where u spend extra $ for express pass. skip the line and no wait. Very simple system.
I'm sorry man that is not true. I had the card pass and I chose the fast pass on my phone. I mean they told me what you just said but i figured it out to do it on my phone.
That's not true! You do NOT have to stay at any resort to get a magic band!! Not true! Do your research! I'm not staying at a disney eotkd resort and I still orders my magic band and down loaded my disney app on my iPhone and booked my fast passes online! Again you can purchase magic bands online through WDW website around 13$ each!! Have them mailed to you early so you can download the fast passes early!!
Do you know if this could include the unlimited dinning and park passes or ?
Is it just me or do they like each other?
So what is the point of getting a park hopper ticket anymore?
Laura Greenfield They've updated the system so that you can now get as many fastpasses as you want, at whatever parks you want. Once you've used your first 3, you can get another one anywhere they're available (even in a different park), and once that has been used, you can get another.
You two talk about this in a positive way, but everything you've been saying makes me hate fastpass+ even more
Why don't they allow people to pay extra for an all day fast pass. After all, they are already charging an arm and a leg with the ticket prices. Why not give people options to pay an extra fee for all day passes. I don't mean like $20. I mean like $50 each. Then not too many people will be able to have these. I think it's way more then fair. Disney is playing with us. Other amusement parks have these options.
This is a badly thought out idea. If people book in advance the good times will be gone for locals.
This vid made me not like fastpass+
this has got to be the dumbest system ever! What was Disney thinking?
I hate Disney
