Current state of Halo extended areas!

- Since the partitioning of the second level into two missions, Halo & Alpha Base, I have gone back and increased the amount of scenery considerably and really been able to polish up all of these missions.
Blind wolves are only the start of the ambient life I will be adding- of course, this is nothing new, but I hope this begins to show how this mod can really shape up with all of the extended areas.
And sorry for dying lmfao that wasn't intended. And that carbine kinda does a lot of damage.
As always so much of this wasn't done by me, I'll have to get around to do a proper massive credits page so people don't think I've done all of this. For example, these new extended areas are actually from SPV2!

this is basically SPV2 but CE-ified
Yeah, all those sections were in the CMT SPV2 build for Halo Custom Edition, but the OG CE look does fit them quite well. I wonder if the ones making the mod were part of the old CMT team back in the day.
I’m actually not a part of the original CMT team, but I’ve done testing work for SPV3!
These sections haven’t really been experienced by many people so hopefully this mod gives them more life!

I love the look of the outdoor areas, though I would say the indoor areas seem like they could use a bit more polish both visually and gameplay-wise.
Also what's that elite you see around the 10 minute mark? Is it an Ultra?
Agreed! And yes that is an ultra, he’s supposed to have a sword but I messed something up. I’ll have them spawn more frequently though as an upgrade to majors
It reminds me a lot of spv3, but without the oversaturation and overdetailed art style

Revamp makin the original level look like a drive down the street, how it just keeps going and opening up the whole way.

It’ll be on the workshop when I feel like it’s ready. I’ve been considering releasing the first half of the campaign before the second, ala SPV3.
I just want to make sure it comes out and is pretty bug free, with plenty of polish and content to go around!
And also @BluefootDStank this won’t be gatekept on discord lol I really hate it when certain mods do that. Anyone with tag extraction tools are welcome to pillage as much of the assets as they want too.
I might also do a tag and data release but my directories are super messy lol.

Do you have any plans on adding the Gravity Rifle or a Plasma Cannon. This mod looks excellent
Gravity rifle: no. I really actually hate that weapon, it feels great to use but terrible to be shot by it- as there’s no tracers and little indication as to where the shot comes from. It will be repurposed into a focus rifle.
Plasma cannon: yup! It just doesn’t make an appearance in this level.
This is insane! A good companion to the original.

Not all missions will be extended, but so far POA, Halo, The Silent Cartographer, AOTCR, Two Betrayals, Keyes, The Maw have extended segments.
343 Guilty Spark has a small little bit to it too but it's nowhere near this scale.
Halo was split into two halves because of how long the extended segments are, it's now (Halo) and (Alpha Base)
AOTCR was split into (Fortress World) and (Assault on the Control Room)
@@alzatar2265 How will the warthog run on The Maw be affected by the expansion of the level? Are you planning to make the map make logical sense (instead of the ship having a conveniently placed, 6km long warthog track) or are you planning on revolutionising the level?
