I’m only 4 minutes in as of writing this, but if people read the Bible then they would know about the Queen of Sheba and the Ethiopian eunuch and that many of the church fathers were from Africa. Now he says he believes in science. If he studied history he would know the advancements in science were made by Christians. The university and hospitals systems were started by Christians. In the Torah, the rules for cleansing are scientific. The Lord gave these laws and commands for a reason.

Fax the guy who helped Jesus carry the cross was black too. And kush (Ethiopia in ancient days)is even mentioned in the bible. So if the bible is racist at its core; why would it mention these figures and places in a good way?

It’s incredible how he goes about conversing with people. He encourages and uplifts everyone he talks to, even if they disagree. He never backs down from a question and when someone asks a hard hitting question, he applauds them. He applauds their honesty and openness. He never comes from a place of moral high ground. This is EXACTLY how we should be evangelizing. This man is truly on fire with the Holy Spirit.

I am a follower of Christ because the evidence points to him being reliable. I did a open minded study of many religions and even atheism for 6 years nearly every single day. Christianity has a foundation like no other. I have lost loved ones because of my decision to be a Christian but I believe I have made a unbiased decision to follow Christ. Searching for God can be a emotional roller coaster, especially if it may disappoint loved ones. It’s worth it in the end. God loves you. Diligently study fairly and build a relationship with the one who gave you life.

I finally respect the kid for conceding the point Cliffe was making about the belief system, about him going all in on science, and retracting that statement.
Most of these college kids are closed minded and reject Cliffe's points because he is triggering some fight or flight response, they don't want their belief system in hedonism challenged, and he does this, and it provokes them.
This kid though seems mature enough to actually concede a point.
I've argued with many people in my life, and I cam box them in and checkmate them on things, but they only begrudgingly acquiesce. It's then a face saving measure, not a true acknowledgement that truth doesn't allow all opinions equal standing as its representative.

Its tough for me to put into words where I am at now in terms of my beliefs. Personally I cant 100% rule out the existence any creator , the science stops short of explaining with 100% certainty the root of the first cause for lack of better terms. I really enjoy listening to him . Religion set aside , these kids can learn how to agree and more importantly disagree with someone without disrespecting the other person.

Sean is a Theologian, professor, speaker, Author, podcaster, and apologist, and Frank is a Theologian, Apologist, Author, and podcaster who runs the organization/podcast "Crossexamined", and Speaks on College campuses across the Nation- he has debated Christopher Hitchens and other well-known Atheists in the past. *Cliffe, I said it before when you posted a clip from this video back on 02/26/2022, and I'll say it again...*
I love what you do, and I agree with 99% of what I hear you say...however I must respectfully disagree with your response to the gentleman at the *21:39* (21 minutes and 39 seconds) mark in this video, wherein you said that Jesus did not perform miracles to get skeptics to believe in Him. Indeed, I agree that He healed people out of love, however I contend that one of His primary motives...if not _the_ primary motive for Him performing miracles ( _resurrecting, healing, feeding, turning water to wine etc._ ) was for presenting *evidence* and *authority* for who He claimed to be.
_"Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did."_
    *John 2:23*
_"And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name"_
    *John 20:30-31*
_"And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”_
_"Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them."_
    *Matthew 11:2-5*

Yes. Miracles were performed most definitely to shock the people and wake them up that this is no joke, that this is a serious business.
Remember what Jesus said about Sodom and Gomorrah, He said that if the miracles performed by Him would be seen in Sodom, they would be still standing, meaning the people would repent. So lack of miracles actually leads to a numb state, to a disbelief and eventually to lawlessness, like it happened in Sodom and Gomorrah and what is happening right now, in our time.

Christianity is a philosophical topic and the Bible isn't a scientific textbook. These two ideas have to be examined in a way that makes sense of philosophy that includes a few scientific principles but that isn't the point of Christianity. The New Testament is a narrative and needs to be examined with that in mind, like, Jesus went here and did this and that, and for the most part, that is what that portion of the scripture is. Thank you, Cliffe, for your ministry and these clips!

Cliffe I genuinely love what you do. I think it’s very important for the kingdom of God. A lot of us Christians are just watching videos like this from the sideline instead of actually going out and engaging with people. I commend you for that.
However I’ve noticed in some of your interactions an unwillingness to understand the true intent or meaning of the other person’s questions and statements. Like when the one guy was saying that Christianity in Africa and Asia is a result of western white influence, you kept trying to convince him that there are Christians of all colors and ethnicities all around the world and that Christianity isn’t just for white people. However I think he already accepts that point so continuing to focus on that doesn’t respond to his actual statement, which I felt was more about the origins of Christianity and the time and way in which it entered into different ethnic groups.
I just noticed a couple things like that in different videos, where you get mad at the person or misunderstand their position. I understand we’re all human and imperfect. God’s grace abounds. I just thought it was something that I should point out for the effectiveness of your mission and to love better the person you’re engaging with.
Much love to you and your family. You inspire me to go out and do the same. Thank you for you faithful work throughout the years.

I have one single comment on this great video, and it’s about the historical reliability of the Quran. As it pertains to being an eye witness account of Mohamed and his teachings, the Quran fails. it is reportedly, by Islamic books such as Hadith; a collection or recited chapters collected at least 150 years after the death of Mohamed. No to mention what happened with Khalife Ousman… So it’s iffy and I would say stand nowhere near the Bible in terms of historical accuracy. But if we consider that the Quran is wrong and that the Quran was recorded in the days of Mohamed as is also says it was( strangely) then we have a Quran confused about it own process of becoming an thus an incredibly unreliable document ! Plus it blatantly denies an historical event known as the death of Christ ! It’s just that the last statement kind of bothered me! 😅

16:00 he says , “so you’re not saying Christianity is the bases for all morals”….
That’s not biblical and it’s not a claim of Christianity. It’s not the claim of Christ. Romans says we all know morals, and they are based in the eternal good moral character of God.
This is good , and it seems like a move of the Holy Spirit might be happening.
Being confronted , in love, by the truth, this young man is presenting on his own , the strong hold ideas holding him from Christ , without the conversation even calling this prompted objection out.
Christ never said “Christianity is the bases of all morals”.
That doesn’t even sound far sighted enough.
Do we see what lies do to people ? It leaves them confused, turned off, numb, and even hostile to Christ and the Gospel.

I think we have to consider the possibility that the 2 in the field and the 2 women grinding at the mill is describing the 2 parts to what we are, unless we have become perfect.
For instance the believer on the pathway of striving to obtain holiness, but is yet to obtain it, is made up of two parts.
Could it be that God makes a decision to seal that person into either righteousness or unrighteousness. And there is no longer a duality happening.
    Matthew 24:40-42
    King James Version
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

@@ruthadiscipleofjesuschrist1788 Hello Ruth. Obviously there is much that we don’t know about Salvation. In particular I am referring to who is and who isn’t saved.
Clearly its God who decides. But I know my mother is saved and she was a Catholic and so were the reformers like Martin Luther, before they started their own churches.
Maybe Martin’s grandmother was a pious person who loved God that was righteous in God’s sight. If so why would God deny her salvation all because the Reformation hadn’t started.
The badge, be it Protestant or Catholic, is important, but what is more important is, are we actually chosen by God.
Many are called and few are chosen.
It’s only in the last few years that God has chosen me and I’ve been born again for 35 years. It took me that long to 100% repent. Oh I had repented alright but not 100%.
Actually my mother won me to Christ. But the parable of the wheat and tares explains this very well.
Some people cannot be torn out of their religion because it might result in them being rooted out.
      Matthew 13:30
      King James Version
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
It’s wrong to simply conclude that if we are born again we are indeed saved. Because the parable of the sower is talking about some of those who joyfully received the truth however they eventually walked away from it. And those who turn their back on God although they originally had gotten born again, are not saved.
Those who are born again are the called. But not all the called are chosen.
As I said Ruth it comes down to the heart of the person. If God knows that a person will eventually fully repent if given sufficient time to do so, He will make a decision on this basis.
For instance we should all be keeping the 7th day sabbath. But because the bulk of Christendom isn’t doing this, God won’t hold it against them, if their heart is in the right place.
On day one, when the Reformation started, many pious Catholics were too blinded by their loyalty to see this new truth.
God understands that because he looks at the heart.
And He uses the same criteria regarding the keeping of the 7th day sabbath. Because, just as the Reformation was too much for many pious Catholics, so too is the necessity to keep this sabbath commandment, which is too much for many Christians today. However God looks at the heart.
Regrettably I don’t have a discord account. I have a plan that allows me to phone the USA and England and Australia. Send me an email to

This conversation could go on for a long time. The root of the problem is not an intellectual one, but a moral one. You do not want to believe that there is a God because that would mean that you would have to be accountable for your sins. Cliffe ended the conversation with the young man at the end of the video with a note similar to this.
There is no way to escape death except through putting your trust in Jesus Christ. That is what I am trying to get through to you. If you deny Jesus, then you deny what he has offered to you; The free gift of eternal life because he died on a cross for your sins.
