If I’m ever having a bad day I’m going to rewatch this video. There’s no way you can be grumpy after watching how excited and happy Abbie is seeing the animals.
This has been my little schnauzer’s FAVORITE episode ever. He was absolutely enthralled the whole time. He usually enjoys watching you guys, but the animal footage this time really engaged his brain. So happy that you got to see Fiona. ❤️ Thanks for sharing.
Love all your videos. This hits home. I went to the Cincinnati Zoo every year growing up in the 70's 80's. You would like the Newport aquarium just across the river in Kentucky also.
Looks awesome guys...I have never been to this zoo. Now I have to go, lol. I've been to the Columbus zoo many times but this looks like a better choice. Thanks for the video.
Someone told me its all happening at the Zoo, I do believe it, I do believe its true. Adam and Abby: you folks are awesome... I am older and once visited the Cinci zoo; but my experience was as a kid over 50 years ago. This is far from what I saw as a kid. They did well. Glad you can share what you experienced. Thank you to my fav couple.
Hello Adam! Hello Abby! You guys had a great day it looks! Adam, next time you’ll have to name off what you’re looking at. God bless you two, take care and stay safe!🙏🎚🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
Not only a Beautiful park in Ohio but also a great state for so many Vintage Machines. The Midwest is great for Picking. Abbey, you are really a nice young lady...Ricko
If you ever get back to Wichita Kansas be sure to see the Sedgwick County Zoo. They have made a lot of improvements. Also see Tanganika Wildlife Zoo in Goddard Kansas just west of Wichita. The famous Jack Hanna highly recommended it when he visited it!
That misting fan would work wonderfully here in Arizona. 🥵 Not right now though, not during high humidity monsoon season. During the hot and dry months of April to late June and mid September to late November they would work beautifully. In fact, we have "swamp coolers" here in addition to your typical air conditioner. The swamp coolers use big Aspen fiber or cardboard pads, a big fan, and a pump that constantly runs water onto the pads to keep them moist. The dry 8% humidity air evaporates that water off of the huge surface area of the pads, and the water molecules steal thermal energy from the air molecules in order to gain their phase change energy to turn from liquid into a gas (water vapor). That cools down the air by about 20°F and adds moisture for more comfort. 😺 They don't work when the air humidity increases above 20-30% though because it doesn't evaporate the water very well. If you run it anyway, the air gets super muggy and gross. The patios here at restaurants and such all have those water misting nozzles because they do the same effect in open air. They do help for sure. I'm sure you guys don't have swamp coolers in Florida because the air is always humid year round. No use there. 😿 Many old houses here have swamp only, and people use portable or window AC units during monsoon. Other old houses (and newer houses too) have a dual plenum with a "cookie sheet" damper/block off. In the dry early and late summer, you put the plate on the AC side and save money using the swamper. It just costs water and a bit of power to run the 1/3hp or 1/2hp motor. Then swap to the AC for the miserable time of middle summer. The swamp cooler also functions as a house fan. You use it with the windows open unlike AC systems. 😺 You can also choose to turn off the water and use the fan alone to blow fresh air through the house when it's 65-72° outside and you don't need any heating or cooling.
Adam check out Warthers museum in Dover ohio,, The WORLDS Master Carver!!!!! It will blow your mind on how he could see things in the wood!!! Mrs. Warther has the worlds largest button collection there also!! Plus the family makes the best steak knives I've ever had! Ours are 25 years old and still going strong!! Really enjoy your vlogs!
Being old, I remember when we went there as school children; you could buy a springy clothespin made from a single piece of wood (still got it somewhere.) After the guide showed us stuff, she told us to turn around, and say hello to the old guy in the chair behind us! It was ~1970. Odd that he's buried down here in Hamilton.
@@AbomAdventures Hope you get to to go Adam.... I know you're a few days behind. How that man was able to do what he did with no education boggles my mind
You picked a great day to go. Usually it is so crowded. I do love our Cincinnati Zoo.
You're absolutely right... How are you doing over there hope you're having a wonderful day.

So glad You’re enjoying the zoo
Those manatees! Reminded me of a lava lamp... so peaceful. What a beautiful zoo. thanks for sharing.
Thanks again. Amazing to see up close on the hippos little hairs or wiskers.
Having lived in Cincinnati for nearly forty years, I can say that I like the zoo the best of all of the attractions.

Best zoo in the world. Much care and design... botanical shade.
My family loves this zoo. Come back and visit during Christmas for the festival of lights!

Since Abby is a huge Zoo fan...I recommend San Diego, Bronx, Toronto and yes, even the Detroit Zoo.
Both zoos in San Diego, if you have the time.

Those Manatees looked like they were waving and the little girl was just fascinated by them.
Tell Abby that my stuffed animal Pinky has travelled the world with me. I take her on every trip! We have been to 7 countries in the last 2 months.
Sounds like a great trip!

_The Wilds_ is north east of there a few hours, and has ten thousand acres. Not a "zoo" as such, it's an animal conservation center.
Yep, I highly recommend. Appropriately named, The Wilds truly feels like you’re in wild Africa, not a zoo.
If you guys are ever driving past toledo ohio i would recommend the toledo zoo.also one of the best zoos in the country
Next stop the train station!
3:00 But sadly, that wouldn't work in Florida in the summertime....
Beautiful place what’s next
Fiona is about to be a big sister.
You need to come back! The new baby hippo has arrived. It will still be a couple of weeks before we know if it’s a brother or sister.
Many of your camera shots could use a zoom lens so the audience can see what you are trying to show us.
Most video is taken with a GoPro and does not zoom. Other shots we use an iPhone. It is what it is and share what we get.
I live about 15min from cincinnati
