Yoongi was the one riding the scooter. This song is about his real life traumas and memories. He was hit by a car which damaged his shoulder very badly. He suffered pain and mobility issues for years till he finally got it operated on during the pandemic. He's revealling his innermost damage to us in this song and MV

Seconding the suggestion to watch the last day of Suga/AgustD's tour in Seoul. You want day 3 of the Seoul Final tour (he announced those 3 days during his Seoul concert that was the last of the scheduled tour, so you want the really, really last day). The concerts all started with him being carried out and placed prone onto the stage by the dance crew, and then getting up to sing Haegeum and Daechwita. As the concert goes on, more and more of the stage is lifted up until he sings the last song on the playlist, Amygdala, on a tiny square, and is flat on his back, defeated. The dance crew carries off his inert body and the last piece of stage lifts off leaving a cluttered arena floor. He comes back for the encore and sings D-Day ("The future is gonna be okay, look at the mirror and I see no pain"), Nevermind, and the Last. Then he walks off the floor without saying goodbye, because he has said that it's never really goodbye.
The last day of the tour was really emotional for him--he started tearing up during Snooze, was flat out sobbing during Dear My Friend (about a friend lost to hard drugs), and I think he ended up shortening Amygdala. But he came back composed for the usual encore and then everyone saw the new element: the white door was waiting at the edge of the arena floor. After the last song, he opened the door, said goodbye to everyone, walked through, and closed it after him. He was mentally healthy and free. And his enlistment was announced the next day.
It's not that all the trauma is gone--he's doing alternative service because his shoulder is still not strong enough to support firing a rifle or other elements of military service. He probably still has mental scars also. But he's overcome and moving forward, and has become such an example to all of us. Cannot love him enough.

Suga was actually hit by a car while he was a delivery boy before BTS debuted, so that was a re-enactment of the actual accident. It messed up his shoulder really bad and he only got surgery to fix it in 2020. He even hesitated to tell the company what had happened because he feared he would be kicked out of the company if they knew about the accident. That shoulder caused him a lot of pain so I'm sure he was taking some pain medication for it but he's also dealt with anxiety and depression so it could be medication for that too depicted in the video. He was very personal with this song talking about his dad's cancer diagnoses and his mom's heart issues. In the new BTS book Suga actually talked about feeling guilty about being born because he feels his birth caused his mom's heart problems. He would lay on her chest when he was little and hear her heart ticking like a clock.

I only just read that bit about Suga feeling guilty for being born in the book about an hour ago while waiting from my hair to finish dying and I burst into tears. The lady dying my hair was very concerned I was crying.

Everything in this song and MV is him 100%. He's been through a lot of dark stuff in his life. This is basically him fighting his own mind, the memories that keep coming back. That room he's in is his mind where he's trapped and can't get out, and him running back to open that door and failing symbolizes the constant inner fight. I find the visualization of this state in this MV incredible, ironically i've been through most of the things he specified in this particular song and that inner fight in itself and i don't think i could visualize this better than this MV did. It's like trying to escape that room but you can't, cause memories and thoughts never really go away. You're just fighting them, that's all. But it teaches you how to deal with some of that in the end, so it's not all grim and dark.

He's always facing/talking to himself. The accident is real, it crushed his shoulder before debut. He didn't tell the company because he thought they wouldn't keep him in BTS. He's been in severe pain for years, finally took the time to go get the surgery he needed during COVID, this is why there's a period when you see performances without him but the members always leave a space for him 💜
This track breaks army's heart because the scar is in Daechwita and Haegeum as well and we thought it was a narrative tool to tell the viewer the king and the slave, and the gangster and the detective were all him, but he was actually "showing" his scar. He used to get shots before shows while on tour, it was the only way he could dance. Pain meds for years obviously. Plus a bunch of other things happening with his family.
He's fought really hard to get out of his own torture (his mind, the black room) and today he wants to help others however he can. If you do his track Snooze you'll see him trying to basically hug junior idols going through what BTS did.
I'm getting lost in my ramblings!
Hugs to everyone going through anything 💜💜💜

This is the most beautiful and terrible depiction of mental illness. That Yoongi decided to share his traumas to us is truly a gift we didn’t deserve.

One thing I can always count on is our BTS guys being very passionate about their craft. In this case tragically beautifully honest with his own pain and it’s taught me a lot how I’m not processing past traumas. I swear not all their songs are an emotional kick in the teeth some or a political kick in the teeth 😂. But no seriously they start conversant and reflecting on important neglected topics by sharing intimate parts of themselves. This album is a masterpiece. The song Snooze is even more impactful to me one of the ones I feel I’ve seriously seen and comforted by. 💜💜💜💜

I can't really explain all the things about amygdala right now but just so you know, this video is a direct reflection of what Suga went through in his past. You can get a lot of context about the state of his mental health in the past with his song The Last off of his first mixtape Agust D (also a very heavy topic song). The first thing you see in the video is a recreation about when he literally got hit by a car while working as a delivery driver. He had been living with the shoulder injury and pain since it happened in 2012-2013 right before BTS debuted and he only recently (2020) went to get surgery and do therapy for it.

Heavy topics below. Just a warning.
So, the accident was real. Near the beginning of Yoongi's training period as an idol, he was trying to juggle training and working as a delivery boy in order to try to save up money for schooling. He got into the accident and thought he would be fired if the company found out, so he hid his injury for a while and just worked through the pain until ultimately, he couldn't hide it anymore. Then he lied and said that he fell on the stairs of the dorm where BTS were living at the time.
But the accident was real, the depression and trauma was real, the stuff Yoongi mentions in the lyrics is real, the stress was real. (We don't know for sure but I'm assuming the pain medication abuse was real.) We don't know about self-harm, but we do know that Yoongi has had some suicide attempts in the past.
This ties up Yoongi's Agust D trilogy. In both Daechwita and Haegeum, we have dramatized stuff. A rebel rogue and a corrupt king going to war - both Yoongi and one ends up killing the other. A crime lord and a seasoned, rough detective - both Yoongi and one ends up killing the other. In each situation, we can speculate at dramatic ways that the scar on each Yoongi's face could have happened. Here, we see the 'reality' of it. He gave it to himself.
And boiled down, the tales have always been about him at war with himself.
Finally, we have this. The past Yoongi and current Yoongi are not fighting. In fact, past Yoongi tries to *save* current Yoongi. The way I look at that as, if the Yoongi from the past knew what would come from his accident, he would have never even taken that ride. But it's impossible to know what will happen and impossible to stop what's already occurred. That's why, in the end, the attempt to save current Yoongi does not work. The past cannot save him - looking to it does not help. It's progress that he now seems to have sympathy for himself, though. And Yoongi can get out, someday. He just isn't there yet.
This marked the retirement of Yoongi's Agust D persona. From here, we can see that the persona was used to store trauma, used as a vessel to hold feelings he wasn't ready to face. In retiring it, he rids himself of the lines between him and Agust D. I think it's beautiful.

Thanks for your reaction. I love this song, is my favorite of the album. It made me cry because is tells part of Yoongi's traumas
Much of the video refers to an accident Suga suffered shortly before debuting in 2012 while working as a delivery boy to pay for his studies while he was a Bighit trainee. At first, he told his group members that he had fallen from the stairs, but in reality a car hit him when he was riding his bicycle and he says that after falling he saw that his head was almost under the wheels of the car. Suga did not want to reveal the truth to the agency because he thought they would reject him, after months he had to say it because his shoulder had been dislocated as a result of the accident and did not heal well becaused of lack of treatment and rehabilitation. Eventually he told the company and they paid his treatment and his studies... after debuting, he had injections and therapies for years until he could not postpone his surgery because over time and being an idol with intense choreography, the injury worsened so he underwent surgery for the pandemic and was offstage for about 4 months while he recovered
In other songs he's released in the past as Agust D, on mixtapes for Soundcloud, he talks about his depression, social anxiety and panic attacks, and also commented on his mom's heart surgery. I think is the first he mentions something about the liver cancer his father had and he found out while he was fulfilling his schedule with BTS (which has been very tight and demanding and he probably could not be with his father as long as he would have wanted due to being under contract and his corresponding obligations). His father and mother are alive by the way
When the wound is inflicted on the face, I think it seeks to reflect how it has hurt itself in the past (the mind of a depressed person, we already know that it hurts itself a lot and he mentioned in one of his songs that he have thought about s*u*i*c*i*d*e in the past) and I also think it represents the birth of his alter ego "Agust D" which would allow him to externalize his shadows in parallel to BTS
When he says: I don't know your name, I think he refers to himself... to that shadow in his unconscious mind... in his song "The Last" he mentioned that his father told him they didn't know him... and he commented that if he did not know himself, how would other people would get to know him? and he also mentioned that sometimes he was afraid of himself.
Although I think that now at this moment he is more at peace with himself, it seems that during the pandemic that shadow returned for a while like many other people who found themselves in a dark place during that period but finally he was able to heal more of his wounds and that is why D-Day arrives
This song is inspired by a book that Yoogi read called "Almond", is about the story of a young man with a disease that prevents him from recognizing and expressing emotions, and which is associated with an undergrowth of the cerebral amygdala, usually the size of an almond. It's a story about growing up, discovering yourself, and accepting that help doesn't always come where we expect it.
In their discography, BTS has already touched on deep themes and psychological themes in their ballads, as well as in their rap and more pop songs. For example, in their album Map of the Soul, they were inspired by the theories of Carl Justav Jung, founder of depth psychology, which is mainly based on what exists between consciousness and the unconscious. Jung coined the "map of the soul" and different concepts to explain it, some of them are archetypes that, as if it were a universe that we carry inside, allow us to draw a map that shows how our psyche is configured (Persona, Self, Anima and Shadow)
    Regards from Mexico 💜

I'm not sure how much you know about Min YoonGi aka Suga/AugstD....but as you liked his MV then the following info might be of interest to you.
Suga/Agust D began writing music lyrics and working with MIDI at age 11 and held a part-time job composing and arranging music at a recording studio at age 16.
Active under the name "Gloss" (wordplay on his name YoonGi, which means "to shine") as an underground rapper in his hometown Daegu, He originally entered Big Hit Entertainment as a producer at age 17 and became the second member to join BTS..... At BTS debut in 2013 he was 20 y.o.... he is one of BTSs main producers/songwriters/composers and has over 150 song copyrights.... he also produces for other artists and has won awards for his work.
Suga (SHU-GA.... from Shooting Guard - the position he played in basketball) ...... AgustD = SUGA + DT (Daegu Twon - his hometown) Spelt Backwards
Between his commitments as a member of BTS, Suga/Agust D took advantage of time on the plane and in hotel rooms after concerts to continuously produce and compose music.
In an interview for Grazia Korea, Suga/Agust D expressed a desire to release the music he wanted to do without having to consider popular appeal or music ranking. He intended to release his music for free in the form of a mixtape to avoid such considerations, commenting that an album "has a feeling of being trapped in some sort of framework" due to the need for company involvement in promotion and advertising. He has released 2 mixtapes - this is his first official album (of which he continues to maintain full creative control)
Developing Agust D musically on the base of hip hop, much of Agust D's inspiration for the lyrics came from his own stories of dream, youth, and reality. In order to differentiate his work from that of his work as Suga, he developed the alter ego "Agust D".
Suga/AgustD was involved in all aspects of this song and music video and had great input into how the music video was designed/produced (working as usual with Director Lumpens (Choi YongSeok) who does most BTS MVs) -
This is the last song in a trilogy..... He is a master storyteller.... a fellow army best explained the trilogy as -
Daechwita... ridding himself of the need to prove his worth to others
Haegeum... ridding himself of the confines of modern society
Amygdala... he investigates the inner demons and trauma that started his confinement in the first place.
He wrote, composed and produced the songs, he conceptualised the MVs and had creative control.... he is a true genius.
Hope you have a great day💜💜Sending Greetings from Australia

Mental health is one of the many issues that BTS (especially Suga) write, create, sing about. That's why they can resonate with so many people around the world. Their overall message is bringing awareness and positivity to the world...connecting with each other as human beings. BTS are simply on a level of their own. Despite the hate, etc they still continue to strive towards a better version of themselves and ourselves. 💜

Yoongi sings to himself telling his painful story he had an accident delivering papers when he was a trainee, these are all the parts of him dealing with it all, he hide his hurt shoulder so he wouldn't be taken out of training for BTS, and just had surgery a few years after they made it. It was so hard for him to do the structured dances. He was dealing with depression over a lot of issues. Yoongi is a sleeper, he likes to just be in bed if he isn't writing... so much has changed since counseling and it shows on his tour... he is happy and recognizes the change. We have never seen or heard him talk so much. It's a good thing. This album is the end of AgustD, the character was created by Suga for the 3 albums. He is better now and worked through it all, set up for dealing with any rehaps in the future. You notice at the end he is still in the room, because we never get rid of bad memories when they are triggered but we deal with them better because we recognize it for what it is.

The pills came after the crash cause he could not have surgery done so he was living in pain for almost a decade . He downplayed the accident but it mentally fckd him over , the wheel of the car came milimeters frm his face and neck . The realisation that death could be so quick fckd him over and then he had to live with the physical pain for years because he could not take 3 months off from work to have the surgery he needed . Pain relievers , he was being treated with drugs to ease the daily pain . When he finally had the op in covid period , he had to be off from work for 3 months . He could not perform and 3 months is a long time for kpop idols . They are working everyday .. korean families differ to the west , they are raised to honor their parents and they suppose to take care of the parents so when his father was diagnosed with liver cancer , he was not home , he was always working and in a different country .. they feel guilty when they can’t be around to take care of their parents .. BT’s members missed allot of their parents and siblings lives since 2011 .. even if their families die , BT’s must first do their work and they only get few days off , V was in a different country when the grandparents who raised him died . For westerners it’s normal to not be there for families but in the asian culture , it’s disgraceful .. unfortunately their health and family came 2nd to work

I connect because I think there is a version of us that holds the trauma and helps us get through it but then gets lost. Feeling compassion for that person (yourself) helps you integrate that part back in. Some people lose many versions of themselves going through life. Many versions you will never save and you have to let them go like who you would have been without the trauma. The amygdala protects you when you need it and then builds fear around the trauma to protect you in the future. This music connects people which is amazing. Ty

Very interesting takes on the mv. And I understand how you got two those conclusions (where he's representing 2people) and I see how you came to that because BTS has videos where its more thought required however, this video is more literal. Everything in this is 100% him. He got into an accident ( the other driver was responsible for it) , his mom had heart issues , his dad got cancer. Its simply about him wanting to escape his own mind and he can't. The ending, both parts represented him. Its saying he couldn't rescue himself or escape problems. Its all about his struggles. Thanks for the reactions ❤

Thank you @toni5431: For letting these gentlemen know. Army ..aka....many of us who've been with BTS since the beginning from 2013. Know about Suga's broken (un fixed) shoulder back then...and how he HID it from BIGHIT. In fact. The casual account of his accident. Not accurate. As portrayed in this video. They 'Sugar Coated it - Pun unintended. It was ALOT worse. There is video of him speaking about once he hit that (much larger ) truck (aka .NOT a car)......he SLID UNDER IT. And it's front wheels came within INCHES....of his head. THAT IS THE 'REAL' TRUTH. Given how 'sensitive'.....peeps are today. They down played his accident and the potential consequences. Allowing him to 'add it'...but numbing down the horrific truth. There is footage (to this day)....of when Suga (casually) discussed it in a back room with his members. Hence why.......he IS THE ONE....most affected by PTSD. Depression. OCD etc. etc.
And in releasing 'Amygdala'? The "I DON'T KNOW YOUR NAME".......was 'cos he recognized that MILLIONS OF US (Army) AROUND THE WORLD.....went through...or are going through the same thing. as we speak.
It was a personal message to each an every one of us. So to 'Baby Army' ......aka 'new comers' to our World Wide Family. As a West Indian Army Mom. Of course I cried upon seeing Suga's truth.
It triggered many of us. And our OWN trauma. Never you mind, Darlings. once you join 'Our Family'?
    We got you. Borahea 💜💜

My first watch of this was when it premiered and there was no trigger warning. I knew it was gonna be deep with the title of the song being the part of the brain that stores painful traumatic memories and when you're faced with a stimuli that is reminiscent of that trauma it activates the fight or flight response.
The second I saw him on the delivery bike, I knew where this was going and I started crying. The crying got worse when I saw him holding that box cutter against himself. From that point on I couldn't differentiate his story from my own traumas and "choices".
The part that hit me the hardest was seeing him crawling on the floor, trying desperately to get to that door, with all the tears falling around him. It reminded me of all the times I screamed myself to tears to cry myself to exhaustion for a rest that would never come. I was so completely triggered by this video that I had to call in sick to work.
I haven't gone back to watch it again but through watching reactions (the first ones I watched had napkins covering the video) I was slowly able to get to a place where I could see those images again and even analyze some of it a bit.
I'm honestly starting to see that Suga, the one repeating the memory of his accident is just as trapped as Agust D is in that dark part of his mind. I think it could be something like he created Agust D to express all those emotions he couldn't in his IDOL life but that in turn led to Agust D being so filled with anger because of the limitation. In turn he created Suga as a silent barrier. Notice in the video as he repeats the accident (not the way we were told it happened) he doesn't really show much emotion. Like how the residual hauntings of a ghost work, the actions are there but the spirit and purpose is gone.
He doesn't show emotion until he's confronted with the visual signal from his Amygdala, Agust D lying there in the rain looking hurt and injured (probably a more accurate image of how they found him after his accident). That's when Suga runs from the memory, trying to escape back into that dark safe space.
Maybe both Suga and Agust D are trapped in the Amygdala and realize the only way they can truly escape is by reconnecting, by becoming Min Yoongi.

This song and video are intense, beautiful works of art, and you're both always so thoughtful and vulnerable in your reactions... I haven't watched yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
I don't actually watch many reactions to Amygdala. It's got so much very real pain and struggle in it and I find it upsetting of people don't treat it with respect. I trust you.

Something I eventually noticed that you might like... This video is about a very hard thing, but it doesn't leave me feeling despair even though he doesn't get out of the room. So I thought about that.
Even though we see him crawling up an impossible slope to get out, even though he can't leave, he doesn't stop trying. And, in fact, creating this song was him opening that door. Literally.
Yoongi shared his pain because he knew it wasn't only his pain. I've felt what he's showing us, and it makes me feel seen and understood. I love him for it.

This is kinda one of those songs/MVs that makes more sense when you know his past or at least a little bit of context/information about him going into it. One being (what many have already explained but I'll reiterate) the fact that he was really in a car accident as shown here before bts debuted when they were still trainees. The accident heavily injured/dislocated his shoulder and he dealt with the pain for over 8 years until he finally got surgery during the end of 2020 (into the beginning of 2021 for recovery as well). And also its true that at some point he did try to harm himself in some way, just not in the way it was shown here (such details are more murky and left to speculation, but listening to his song "the last" gives you a bit more clarity and understanding regarding that topic as well as his past struggles with social anxiety, mental health, and depression). Also there are two videos you need to watch that add more context to this video, as this song and MV is part of a trilogy that tells the full story. First one being "daechwita" and the second being "haeguem" and the third being this one (p.s. I suggest looking up the titles too so you know the meaning behind the words themselves). Okay done with the ted talk lol 😅😆loved you guys take on it too🙄💜🙌🏾

Younger Suga on the bike at the end has an epiphany moment BEFORE the next residual "loop" memory replays again for the millionth time (as all that Augst D has been able to do up to this point is just re-live the tragedies over and over and over again in a downward spiral).
Suga races to the door in a effort to stop the chaos and let Augst D out of his brain/Amygdala...and realizes that he can't change the past nor save himself from what he will have to go though as the door is locked.
The 2 identities that make up Suga/Augst D will always be a part of him as we can't change our pasts no matter how much we wish we could.
BUT, young Suga BROKE the haunting loop cycle memory by finally breaking out of that destructive pattern.....
AND doing so, something different, for the first time, resulted in him actually WANTING to save his own life now for the first time.
While the two entities will always be separate, breaking the mental loop of re-living tragedy every day brings the 2 entities into one and ignites the healing transformation that brings him to today as a prolific songwriter, story teller, survivor and massive mental health advocate and ally.
This is literally one of the best songs ever made. Suga/Augst D is a fkn genius.

*My own thoughts on Agust D's Trilogy:*
Yoongi has shared his mental health issues with us since the beginning, and he stated how some of his roughest times were in the early days, like from 2013 to 2016, how he developed social anxiety at age 18, he was dealing with depression and OCD. BTS had hate coming at them from all angles, and it took a toll on them in the early years. So hearing all the other things he was dealing with as well, just puts things into perspective. He's such a strong person. In the making video, he said the scars we create are of our own making. So the best way for him to represent that was the way that he did with the scar on his face. And the medicine he took was for his condition. He talked about how he saw a psychiatrist and his parents went with him, and they said they didn't know who he was anymore. This was in "The Last" from his first mixtape Agust D.
He said how could anyone know him when he doesn't know himself, so that phrase "I don't know your name" made sense to me. Looking back at repressed memories. Thankfully he got through all of it, and now is healed to a certain degree. I see the rain as a shift., He also talked about "What doesn't kill you make you stronger", and he is now blooming like a lotus flower. The lotus flower is very resilient, and can grow in mud and water, like on a lake or pond. So I see the rain as cleansing, and healing.
He also said in the behind the scenes on Daechwita, that the mad King was the Agust D from his first Mixtape in 2016, and the peasant was from his 2020 mixtape D-2. You can see the scar is very raw in that video on both of them, maybe slightly less for the 2020 Agust D. In Haegeum, I interpret it as Agust D from 2020 is the Police detective/corrupt Boss, with the partially healed scar, and the Agust D that kills, and steals the money with no scar is D-Day Agust D. The one that is mostly healed and is talking about freedom. (Do we ever completely heal from our scars?) In an interview with IU, and in the D-Day film, he talks about how he was very angry and now he has forgiven the haters and is living in the present. So his music moving forward may not have the angry vibe that we have seen in the past. But he is definitely not done yet.
He went on a Sold Out 2023 D-Day World Tour (I got to see him in Oakland, CA), from May to August, 28 cities, and on his last day in Seoul, South Korea, he broke down and cried during 3 or 4 of his songs, and he was emotional during the whole concert. At the very end, he was happy, and they had the door from the MV on the stage, and he was able to finally walk through it. The whole process of his album and the journey through Chapter 2 (BTS sol projects) was necessary for longevity, in order to stay in BTS for a long time, and be able to continue. The whole album was a masterpiece, and it left a mark on the music industry, and the world.

I can see this was difficult to talk about but I know this will help someone who's going through something or is having difficulty getting through something. Someone's has most likely mentioned this already but this MV is about Yoongi sharing his past struggles in which he was involved in a car accident and was lef with a shoulder injury which affected him until very recently.

For me this is about trauma. I have several friends who suffered terrible traumas in their youth. They cannot get over it, even after 30 years. I cannot help them, because I don’t know how trauma feels. I sent this MV to one of them. She was offended, because her trauma is too serious for kpop. You’re right, being stable is all I can do.

"Better than if it hit him from the side." Based on how Yoongi has told the story in the past, it actually sounds like it did hit him from the side? He mentions being nearly under the car's wheel. My guess is that they didn't have a way to safely recreate that with him.

A Thing I love about BTS they have this continuous talent to tell their stories and the stories of other people in a way that reaches everyone. Even people who haven't who heard his story can take a completely different perspective on what the song is trying to to say. even if the interpretation is different from his actual story the feeling the essence is still communicated afterwards to all these different people

It is evident from your comments that you are completely unaware of KING YOONGI's life. The room at the beginning is his inner self full of pain, frustration, anger and sadness, which led him to have depression and social anxiety, he talks about his father's cancer, his mother's heart surgery, his precarious economic situation, the bad times at the beginning of his career, etc. this is the one who lives inside it.
The shock that occurs is the accident that the KING suffered when he was an apprentice and had to work to help the company in the debut because they did not have money to continue, he hid his injuries so as not to lose the opportunity to debut, he lived 9 years doped with drugs and daily injections to alleviate the suffering of pain.
The injury to his face that he inflicts on himself are precisely these emotions of sadness and pain that he feels and that in order to get them out he creates his alter ego that is Agust-D and with him he can sing those songs full of anger that he cannot interpret with Idol. It is Agust-D who is inside that room suffering.
KING YOONGI decides to end this cycle of suffering and really be him, happy, joyful and positive, and it can be seen when he gets off the motorcycle and runs trying to get Agust-D out of the room and he can't, because he decides to leave the suffering behind and continue, that is the allegory of the meaning of this video, it is the catharsis that KING YOONGI needed to be happy.
I love the guy in Red, he's right in his comments and I express it with enormous empathy, exactly what it takes to save the world.
I leave you a beautiful video where THE KING YOONGI talks about how he overcomes his depression and social anxiety problems every day, YOONGI is a wonderful being full of light. ua-cam.com/video/faQVOdCwV6A/v-deo.html

I believe he was actually dragged under the car for a ways when he had his accident and damaged his shoulder. The worst part was that as a trainee at his company it was against his contract to have another part time job, so he was doing deliveries on the sly and couldn’t tell anyone at the company about the accident so he could get medical help, and actually had to dance with his damaged arm without making it look like he was hurting or he could have been kicked out before debuting.

He only hid it for a little while before he had to admit he was injured - his shoulder was dislocated. At first he said he'd fallen down the stairs.
Ultimately BigHit paid for his medical treatment.

    Suga said that
he opened his eyes after the accident and found that one of the car wheels was right by his head ! So , not only his shoulder was damaged (wich he didn't tell, because he was afraid of being kicked out of the trainee program!) but he had to deal with the fact that he was an inch away from dying !
ARMY knew about that accident but I don't know how many did about his mother's and father's health issues !
    I didn't !

After the accident, Yoonge had to take pain killer's to hide his injury.
Without them he wasn't able to perform.
That changed after he decided during pandemic to finally have a surgery.
