  • Enjoy this beautiful video of our experience in Saki Nigeria, during our recent travel from Finland to Nigeria. Yoruba pikin
Without our visitation to ogidigbo in saki, the blacksmith workshop, our trip to Saki won't be complete because, traditionally, the occupations of the locals in earlier times included blacksmithing, goldsmithing, farming, hunting, and clay pot molding. The village is well known for producing aluminum pots, often known as "Ikoko Irin."
Since we reside in Finland, it is my job to educate my children about the Yoruba culture, traditions, and history of my hometown of Saki. This tour is an extension of my commitment to do so.
According to certain historians, Ogun, the eldest son of Oduduwa, created Saki, which explains why it was formerly known as Ile Ogun.
The largest blacksmith shop in Saki, the agbede ogun, is where we are right now. Where ogun was said to have entered the underworld spiritually is a short distance away. This is a historically significant location where my ancestors once manufactured farming, hunting, and musical instruments.

God bless you greatly (also our wife for her interest and support) for these upbringing you're giving your children because some Yorubas don't care about all these and their children are lost completely from their Culture.

Thank you for taking us along on this learning journey with your family. Perhaps if Yoruba lessons were this immersive in my day, I wouldn't have dropped the course so quickly.

Yoruba language has always been intresting even in the classroom. The language, the culture, the literature, the proverbs, the myths and the legends. Love everything about it.

Young man care. Not as you may think people are very bad, be careful who you allowed to greet your wife and children's. Thank you
