I put new pistons on my 77 ford 300 inline six. 5 were perfect but 1 was a little off so i tried to press it only a 1/8 of a inch like that and my pin hole somehow got bent and my rod would not move without forcing it. So i got another piston. Good video , you doin a great job.

Again awsome information. I actually ended up keeping the 63 F 100 I've been working on. might want to put a big block in it

To tight gets tighter on cold day and is hard on piston and cylinder walls. Should float.. every cold start and tight can get tighter by galling the piston pin bore. Good fix press pins are not so easy to work on.

Tight gudgeon causing one of my engines to have piston noise when cold.
    Might try your trick.

If they ran without galling, they were perfect ,,, !
