Münster’s Prinzipalmarkt is a piece of living town history, telling tales from the Middle Ages, the Hanseatic League, and the ancient merchant families that in part pursue their businesses even today. The square with its characteristic gabled houses and colonnades is Münster’s economical and political centre, and it's rich in tradition. This is the site of the historical town-hall with its Hall of Peace. Numerous exclusive shops and restaurants and cafes are located here as well.
A major part of Münster's city life takes place on the Prinzipalmarkt: This is where the guests of state are welcomed, festivals are celebrated, and where people stroll, shop and enjoy life. And not just the citizens of Münster consider the Prinzipalmarkt one of the most beautiful squares in Germany. Münster is an independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is in the northern part of the state and is considered to be the cultural centre of the Westphalia region. It is also capital of the local government region Münsterland. Münster was the location of the Anabaptist rebellion during the Protestant Reformation and the site of the signing of the Treaty of Westphalia ending the Thirty Years' War in 1648. Today it is known as the bicycle capital of Germany. Münster gained the status of a Großstadt (major city) with more than 100,000 inhabitants in 1915.

It's very refreshing to see everyone walking or riding bikes, even though there are obviously cars parked along the streets. I love your videos - they are all so peaceful; especially the night walks. This is the closest I will get to visiting Europe any time soon and it almost feels a bit like a dream - walking at night with minimal noise and I can admire all the buildings & look into the shop windows. Thank you for your videos.

Thank you! This walk was actually shot with my Sony Alpha 6500. Much better quality during night than the Osmo Pocket. But in general I love to use my Shure MV88 microphone with 2 windshields attached + iPhone combo, when filming with the Osmo Pocket :)

Was ist eigentlich deine Lieblingsstadt in Deutschland und deine Lieblingsstadt in Japan? :)
Vom Stil gefällt mir Würzburg und Heidelberg sehr. Es gibt bestimmt noch schönere Städte. In Japan Matsuyama, Kyoto, Osaka. Tokyo mag ich aber auch weil mein Zuhause, Familie und Freunde dort sind.
@@JapanPotato Wow, das ist eine schöne Auswahl. Mein Geburtsort liegt sehr in der Nähe von Würzburg. Auch mir gefällt die Region Unterfranken sehr.
Kyoto ist meine absolute Lieblingsstadt, wegen der Architektur und Natur.
Tokyo finde ich sehr beeindruckend, trotz der Größe, sehr schön und sauber.
Frankfurt ist ja die einzige deutsche Stadt mit so vielen Hochäusern aber gegen Tokyo ist Frankfurt nut Tokyo Light haha.
Wettermäßig sagt mir in Japan eher die Kyushu und Okinawa Region zu. Das ist aber nur eine persönliche Meinung haha :D

Das ist toll! Frankfurt kann da leider nicht mithalten, bin dort demnächst aber auch mal unterwegs :) Wetter gefällt mir in Japan generell besser, da Jahreszeiten relativ unterschiedlich sind und alle eine bessere Dauer haben. In Deutschland ist der Winter etwas zu lange finde ich und der Sommer etwas kurz und nicht konsequent warm. Während in Japan der Sommer wirklich "Sommer" ist :) Nach der Regenzeit. In Kiel war ich noch nicht! Sehr gerne will ich aber mal dort hin!
