  • The 2022 Nissan Leaf is a mild update to last year's model, but it has a significantly cheaper price tag and more features that come standard. It's a solid daily commuter.

I think the reviewer confused Tesla’s autopilot feature with their FSD feature when comparing with pro-pilot. I also don’t really think Nissan is looking at the Leaf as their most important product anymore (as the reviewer starts of the review claiming) they are clearly not investing much in this platform - their future hope lie with the upcoming Aria.

Anyone here because of high gas prices?

So using a 110 Volt outlet [in a garage for example] , it would take 12 hours to charge the 62KW battery to 80% assuming battery at zero when starting g to charge...am i correct?

For under $20,000? You’re kidding, right. I just purchased one, and the list price is just under $30,000.

Nice review. Great information, thanks for using your normal speaking voice. Many UA-cam reviewers use a weird affected reviewer guy voice.

It was very interesting that you mentioned cabin noise. Considering Tesla is far worse far as cabin noise goes. I’m curious to hear what car in your experience has less cabin noise?

$19,200 after the tax incentive, plus 5 year .9% financing, low insurance rate especially if added to an umbrella policy, plus no gasoline costs. Don't let your wife force you to give up the sports car. Probably average out to just a total ownership cost of $24,800 over the course of 5 years; $4800 a year and then after that you have a paid off car with $60,000 miles that's probably worth not too shy of 10k.

We love our 2 Leaf Pluses. Half the cost of an M3 with all of the comfort and utility.

Nissan Leaf II is missing battery cooling, that causes rapid-gate(overheated battery can't charge almost). It is the biggest mistake of Leaf II... If you live in place, where summer is hot, I recommend the EV with battery cooling...

So...propilot is exactly the same as Autopilot? A level 2 driver assist software and not autonomy

So how much does it cost to charge it up to 80%? And if you plug it in for overnight charges at home, what does that do to your electric bill each month?

Does the rear seats fold down? Cargo is what this is about.

I think this review missed one point of major criticism with the Leaf (which, to be fair, is in the technical specs of the car and not the "first experience" sort of area) which is that the Leaf, unlike most modern EVs, does not have a liquid cooled battery and instead relies on air cooling. This is a serious con for those living in hot climates (such as myself in Phoenix) as it heavily expedites battery degradation. If it weren't for this I would probably go for the leaf but because of this I am probably going to wait for the new EV incentives to hopefully pass Congress and get a Chevy Bolt once those are selling again with the new battery pack since they are liquid cooled.

I got a flat tire. No spare tire included because the tires are “special.”

How are the speakers? The speakers in my 2018 rogue are so bad. Never heard speakers so bad. Nissan uses the cheapest materials ever. My back up camera looks like it’s VHS
