@@rich9536 idk why but I feel like he has the skillset to work outside as well. They were saying similar things about Justin Jefferson. Not saying he’s that but his route running and understanding of the offense makes me believe that. Matchup nightmare in the slot for sure tho
@@jamaalbrown2015it’s hard to play outside when you can’t threaten a corners cusion. Sure he could pull it off but it would be a disappointing pick if you only play him putside
@@purklepanda5574 I didn’t say “only outside” I said “outside as well” which includes the slot. But we’ll see when he gets to league. I just don’t think he’s pigeonholed to one role. That makes you less valuable as a draft pick if you only good at one thing.
He plays slower than 4.8 . He’s primarily a slot option in the nfl, considering he gets chased down in a lot of these highlights by college players .

@@pmula10 I'm assuming you're saying that as a Titans fan? It's not like I wanted to have to pick a WR at 11, but barring a major trade, we kind of have no choice but to. I was wanting to go OL.
So the question to me is... Which WR? I think Johnston will likely be off the board & even if he isn't, I'm not so sure Johnston is even the best WR in the class. I think it's a close call. I'm really not sold on Addison. If that was the choice, I'd rather take Hyatt later on if he's still there. We're smoked out if we take Flowers that early.
JSN passes the eye test to me. Not the fastest guy, but route running & change of direction is off the charts. He puts u in a blender. Great hands. There's really no flaws in his actual game. I don't get hyped up about 40 time. I look for the better player over the better "athlete". That's how guys like John Ross get over-hyped.
I also don't think that JSN is exclusively a SLOT. I think he can play both SLOT & outside in the NFL. That's how I viewed AJB going into the draft B4 we picked him, which turned out to be true.
Who do u want us to pick? Or are you not a Titans fan & just saying u don't want JSN going to TEN?

Great route runner GREAT HANDS has enough speed to break away.
He's NFL ready roght now. Crisp route running, fast enough to play slot at the highest level. Deceptive speed thats only made faster by his technique. Can create seperation against physical matchups.
He is wr1 in the draft after the combine and pro day performance.

He’s a patriot
He’s a stud minus the top end speed. Plus he has great vision. The only thing I can say is that his route running isn’t as great as they make it seem. He’s a good route runner, but not flawless. His situational awareness at times isn’t all the way there (ran a 5 yard crossing route on a 4th down and caught the ball 2 yards behind the point where he first crossed. It being 4th down, you just have to know you can’t risk even 1 yard) non the less he still scored on the play, but had that been in a tight game in the NFL, that’s a possible turn over solely off of that decision.

Giants offense is built on route running and short passes. This guy would be perfect. With Jones and barkely being threats, it opens up the offense to get a WR who can catch the ball and YAC it up

because of a hamstring injury he suffered during the first game of the season. They tried to bring him back a few games later and he aggravated that same injury. It kept him out the whole season.
