For Sa, skygfx is the best mod. The 3d Gtas weren't meant to be realistic, they were stylized like cartoons, so trying to mod them with same low polygon blocky maps to look like hd Gtas just makes them look even worse. There are plenty of graphics tweak mods for Gta sa that enhance the vanilla graphics while remaining faithful to the original ps2 style graphics of the game. Skygfx, project 2dfx, Project Rosa are few examples. 1 more tip I would give is to actually play the 3d gtas on lower resolution. I know it sounds counterintuitive when talking about enhancing graphics but trust me, these games weren't designed with sharp hd monitors in mind, they were designed for smooth crt tvs. So use a low resolution monitor and turn down the resolution to the lowest and turn up anti aliasing to smooth out textures on low resolutions. Lately I've been playing Gta sa on low resolution with vanilla friendly graphics mods and the experience have been much more enjoyable than the modernizing graphics mods.

This original game is very buggy, better a rockstar remake than just changing the graphics with a mod
No matter how hard modders try, they can't change anything except graphics, and bugs still remain, so DE is the best, no matter how it seems.

the problem I have with icenhancer is it's lack to support dxvk/vulkan since IV gets it's performance improvement from dxvk
The lights are looking great but they forgot to make better the graphics of the trees cuz they are still looking the same.
He is only showing graphic mods. But for GTA 5, many graphics mods are packages, means they enhance the 3d models, textures etc. also.
