Thanks for showing a close up tying in the beard, I always struggle to finish it tidily.
Takes a little practice. Easier to rotate the vice if you can . Trick is not to over do the beard or the thread wraps that will give you a little room to manoeuvre
Great video Tim I’v one question is there a way to rehydrate my bottle of Sally Hanson it’s gone very sticky
No mate . They only last about 2 thirds of the bottle . Get a new one . Keep the old one it will be fine for finishing heads . Dont use thinners or anything as it will turn the varnish milky .

Diawls are super versatile flies . They imitate so many different things . Fished as a dropper fly on any line form a floater to a DI7 ! I love fishing a team of these on a floating line , they wont sink as quick as conventional buzzer patterns. You can fish them static or twiddle them fast . Brilliant all round fish catcher and rarely of my cast !
