I was more than happy with your sky/cloud tut but I'm also trying to learn/improve my overall landscape art, esp mountain, trees, river scenes and saw the potential in your picture as good as it was, I was just being greedy lol, anyhooo subbed an will be checking out the rest of your posts so keep em comin m8y ;@)

How do you draw streaks of lightening? I love the tree's lining. You could, or rather I could, make the grass into a lake or river. 😺

What can you do for the first bit where you're using the shavings of the sharpener if you half a wooden pencil and not a full graphite tip pencil?
Ahh, you could use a knife to shave the graphite onto the paper.
I’m starting to learn how to draw and my goal is to be able to draw a stormy landscape like this, thank you for making this! I have absolutely zero artistic skill (I’m a software engineer haha) but this video really gives me the motivation to keep trying :)

I need help doing this with like lightning and thunders because I’m trying to do a project for my English class about Odyssey like drawing his treacherous adventure from the sea and land. Meeting mythical creatures who dare harm him and his crew and curse by the mighty God himself Poseidon.
Ahh, well I do want to do a video on lightning, but my best tip for now is to use a white colored pencil and/or white gel pen like the uniball signo white or even a gelly roll for the lightning bolts and if you're using graphite for the back ground use a kneaded eraser to pull some illumination around the bolts, especially if there are clouds or rain in the immediate background. It's also good to find some reference photos for inspiration.
