Hey Kiki, i see its been a long time since you uploaded. I know your life doesnt revolve around youtube or anything but i hope everything is alright with you. I was going to see if you had done any camp builds on the overlook next to the mountainside bed and breakfast. I tried to build there last night and it was way tougher than i thought it would be and figured you'd have way more success.

I have built over at the B&B in the past (a looooong time ago), but you're right, it's a challenging spot. I might revisit it someday, but for now really I'm enjoying finding new places to build in the Skyline Valley!

What is your opinion of Starfield? I gave it a shot and just couldn't get into it. Without a massive game world to explore the game felt kinda empty to me. IMO the map is a big part of the Bethesda magic.

I enjoyed Starfield a lot, but it's definitely not the kind of game that can keep me busy for years like FO4 or 76. More the kind of thing that's fun to lose myself in for a couple of months and then set it aside for a while until there's DLC or some cool mods.
@@kikibplays I hope that Starfield will become a great game over time. Unfortunately that's how the video game studios work nowadays. Release a game before it's ready and then release patches, updates , and DLC to finish it.
@perceivedvelocity9914 it really is unfortunate. It could have been amazing, and it still has good things that I enjoy a lot, but I'm back to playing a lot of Fallout 4 (and so hyped for Fallout: London in a few months!).

This is such a cute little house, I want to try to replicate it! Do you have a guide on how to do the roofs so they have a slight overhang with two different ceiling heights like you did? It's so subtle yet does so much to add for the realism. I know it takes catwalks which I have but I don't understand what I'm doing with them lol. Merry Christmas Kiki!
Thanks, I love this house too 😊 I don't have a tutorial on this yet, and frankly, it's really a pain in the ass (and definitely too much to explain in a comment) 😅 I'll see about maybe making one after the holidays, though.
How did you do the offsetted roof like that? It looks awesome!
With a LOT of patience and a flamethrower trap. The technique is very similar to how I did this one, only obviously without the height difference between the pieces: ua-cam.com/video/DDp55vCYw8c/v-deo.html
@kikibplays I'm trying to be patient with the building in this game but some of the things I find i find myself having trouble knowing how to implement it, like merged foundations and offset roofs, thank you for the reply, so basically it's just using the flamethrower trap to allow the roof pieces to merge together?
@taylerjohnson5120 yep, that's the gist of it, along with just knowing how to get the roof pieces to float, since they won't technically be attached to a wall anymore.
@kikibplays thank you for the replies, I can only hope to build as awesome of bases as you do. Lol I really need to find a video on ways to implement the 1/4 and half merged foundations because when I use them I can't make it look right 😅
What walls are the glass part of the house from?
The windows are from the greenhouse kit, the 'walls' below are the Whitespring counters.

You can buy them from vendors at the Whitespring mall or possibly train stations. You also have a chance to get them for free by claiming or defending workshops.

Like the build and love the sunken walls!! How does one get underground??
Plenty of tutorials on yt. Drop merge a symptomatic on a rug through a another rug. Accessing the sunken symptomatic will put you under the map.
The easiest way (in my opinion) is with stairs and a personal terminal: ua-cam.com/video/fHD9qSe3eOY/v-deo.html
