It would have never occurred to me to merge a sleeping bag with a couch, or workbenches in tandem with each other. That's brilliant. I love my current camp but I'm definitely doing something like this in the future. Amazing job.
This by far my favorite CAMP. I added an Ally and shelter to the roof, and I haven’t finished decorating, but I just love coming home to this. I learned soooo many new building techniques. Thank you.
Looks fantastic! So perfect with the shipping container and love the fast travel bit, supercool it doesn't stick you on the crane! Tried this off the crane for one of the first 1x1 challenges back in the day, but it came out unwieldy and messy--this is imaginative and about as elegant as a shipping container gets!
I'm never gonna get over the sense of awe (and slight fear of death) I get every time I see this build in-game! You absolutely killed this one 🥳 Thank you for the shout out, as well!
Well done, Eren's right - it's a tough build! I moved SO slowly while I was doing everything so that I A) wouldn't fall off and die and B) wouldn't accidentally delete my house when I scrapped a piece of decor 😅
I gotta be candid...I've seen a lot of build videos from a lot of different people. But Kiki B's videos are the only ones I ever seem to bookmark, with the thought of, "Holy crap! I am definitely stealing that idea for my CAMP!" This woman is the queen of YT CAMP building.
@@kikibplays You're welcome, but it's not empty praise. I continue to be impressed by your ability to not only figure out both beautiful & logical merge combinations, but also your eye for design. This video is a wonderful example of how you just have a knack for putting the right object in the right empty space such that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, blends into the overall presentation, and makes total sense for being there. Watching your videos has helped me take my CAMP building to another level, but I do not have your talent for arrangement and probably never will. :)
Hey darlin. The new elevator door can be placed over a jail cell doorway. Snaps right over it, anywhere the jail cell doorway can be placed. No clipping between the two that I can find. Good luck and Drive on!
Stunning! I didn't realize you could fit so many things in there! Awesome job! I have the containers but haven't really played with them yet. When I change up my Adventure Mode camp in the Mire, I'm absolutely going to use them. I have an idea to use them in a tree house in Custom Worlds, too.
I only have the blue one, I hope the yellow becomes available again. Ive done a few builds with mine though. Its amazing how just adding foundations and walls and a door sometimes even a ceiling can totally change them. and if you use the merge techniques you can fit quite a bit in them.
this is strait gold...ive watched other youtubers build similar floating stuff but your explanation seemed to finally click in my brain.... thank you so much im totally doing something like this
What a cool build. Never would have thought to make a full dwelling like that. You managed to fit so much in there too! Looks like you don't need to worry about random enemy plinks either.
Thanks! It was definitely challenging to fit everything in there! I do get some Scorched down on the ground trying to shoot stuff occasionally, but it's really fun to snipe them from my rooftop 😆
super cute. as soon as found and bought the yellow container, i made a camp and ready workshop in it. ofc its not this cozy cuz i didn't know about sinking :)
Love the build. Creating a teeny tiny camp challenge with the shipping container...genius. I'm def going to use the armor bench with cooking spit on top. I did that merge in my workshop but just put that silver bowl over the top to make it look like a bowl of hot liquid. Lol. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Just ran across this build, and it's great! It'll be even easier to do this build now that the free camera is a thing that exists. This is the first video of yours I've watched, and it was more than enough to earn a sub from me.
Wish you had a tutorial on the half wall blueprint to place anywhere like you did here. It’s the only thing holding me back from doing an idea like this in other places.
Thanks! You can get pretty close without them; I've built I think 3 versions of this before the catwalks were a thing. I might do a short 'bonus' video of that...
Wow that's pretty freaking clever. I've wanted to use the shipping container but I couldn't really come up with any ideas. I started a new character and slapped a shipping container down for their house and realized how annoying it is to place certain things in it...workbenches mainly. They keep going through the floor ugh.
Thanks! Yeah, you have to actively sort of lift things when you place them, or put down rugs, or snap foundations inside. Interestingly, merged objects don't seem to have that problem as much 🤔
Absolutely! I've covered it so often that I sometimes forget to show it 😅 Put down a foundation and snap two short columns on top of each other; then remove the bottom one and put a small floor object where the base of the column was (I always use a painted deathclaw egg). Replace the bottom column (so now the floor object will be clipped into it) and then blueprint both columns and the object. Hope that makes sense! It's dead useful.
They were Atomic Shop, but are not currently in the shop. You can try putting in a support ticket on the Bethesda website asking to buy them if you want.

Yeah, I forgot to cover it in here because it's one of those things I've talked about a lot (but still, not everyone knows it, so my bad). I'm working on a video with a few essential blueprint tutorials, but for now here's the basic thing: 1. Place a foundation and snap two half columns (stacked one above the other) on it. 2. Remove the bottom column and set a small floor object, like a deathclaw egg (or little statue), in the spot where the column just was. 3. Put that column back - it will snap in over the egg no problem - and then blueprint the egg and both columns. Now you can place that blueprint anywhere you could place a deathclaw egg! You can also do this with two full-sized columns if you prefer, but I use the short ones because it fits in more places.
As of 1/24/23 this no longer works :/ I'm getting the message stating that the object is intersecting with an existing object. Note: Other items such as the mounted fish and decoy duck do work, but the eggs do not
@@kikibplays oh yes I know. I've done it many times, but it sounded more dramatic when I put it like I did. Hehe. I LOVE your design, so someday I will try something like that. Keep up the good work!

@@kikibplays ah, right. Unfortunately Im on Xbox. Ill, play arounf with it and see what I can do, I have a camp in ash heap already, so it wont be a difficult move. Thanks anyway.

I started working on a "cargorail" camp this weekend and I am loving it! I built a different thing to 'suspend' them from based on what the existing monorail cars have. It's looking really cool so far!
You have to remove each piece one at a time - change it to a corner or slanted roof, remove, change the next piece, remove, etc. And you can't remove the pieces under the shipping container, that will remove the container.
