The Jeffersons-ONE OF THE GREATEST SITCOMS OF ALL TIME!!!
Alone with Good Times and Sanford and Son
¹
@@aedwards7045And All in the Family.
@@AsukenickAll in the family is one of the greatest TV shows of all time.
The 70's in general had the best shows, I wasn't around yet, but I love watching them more than any.
I really liked the moment when Bentley told Louise that maybe she didn't understand what George did. He may have needed help organizing his thoughts, but everything he said in the song came from him.
Just like fine wine this show got better and better with age; this episode was so memorable and extremely well written and acted...Rip to those cast members that have passed on... Thank you for sharing this show.
❤
The 1970s & 80s were such great times to be alive & old enough to enjoy TV 📺
Also the best music ever!!
Democrats ruined it after that.
FUN FACT!!! Sherman Hemsley was in the Broadway musical "Purlie" with Melba Moore & Robert Gulliume.
yeah and Helen Martin aka Pearl Shay from 227 was in it too.
Purlie was the first play I saw on cable. It was call Home box back then in the 80’s.
That's where Norman Lear saw him and offered him the role.
🤩I SEARCHED SOO LONG FOR THIS, MY ALL TIME FAVORITE EPISODE❤THANK YOU🤗
“At least she won’t bite youuuu”. 😂😂😂😂. I died.
😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can’t stop laughing 🤣
This is so enjoyable, unlike any of the series now days thank you for sharing those memorable moments
Agreed!!!
Days gotta go well when your "like" number 777 AND a bonus of watching this beautiful show. Feeling Blessed ❤
They are one of my favorites
I've never seen this episode till now, so it's new to me 😊
Me too, after seeing the same episodes over n over again, today I saw 2 that I've never seen before.
I love the Jefferson my favorite TV show of all time 🥰🥰🥰🥰❣️🥰🥰🥰🥰❣️❣️ 📺📺📡📡📡📡📡📺📺📺📺📺📺📡📡📡📡📡📡📡📡📡📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📺📡📡📡
Corrupt hollywierd won't make great shows like this anymore
Why don’t we keep the pajamas and send Mr. Jefferson back? Love Florence
7:00😂😂😂😂
that was a lovely song though!
Yesssss! And Sherman Hensley really can sing!
@@cariannette1 Some of it was talk-sing.
Love this show grew up watching this ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent performance always
This was one of the first TV shows I ever saw. The theme song is one of my workout songs!
See that's how I know Weezie wasn't right in the head back then cuz who turned down a mink coat for some poem 😂
she got the coat too!!
A rich woman married for 30 years, that mink doesn’t mean as much as a poem from the heart, you can read over, and over again, and if your person passes, you have their words specifically for you forever
@@Lifeisinside Awwww the romantic🥰🥰🥰
@@Lifeisinside💯💯💯
@@Lifeisinside yeah and Weezie really wasn't that materialistic.
Love it
Weezy is so eeezy
Louise was being a jerk after the song…. She has to know he can’t play the piano and didn’t know how to organize the song… he did what anyone in his predicament would do.
I’m sure that it was hard for George to swallow his pride and ask for help but he did it and she was being jerk but in the end, she realized that George really loved her very much!
It would have been just as easy to have admitted he had help instead of lying that he wrote it himself
Because to her, he had lied about writing it himself. Bentley explained to her that he may have needed help, but the thoughts came from him.
